F, I'm going to bed!  Hopefully I wake up to some good advice

New build with a Kingpin z690, 13900K, FE4080, and G.SKILL Trident Z5 Series 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR5 6000 Model F5-6000J3238G32GX2-TZ5K

I've flashed to 2.06 and 2.08.  Somewhere on the EVGA website it says 13900k needs 2.03 which isnt in the download section :/

When I flash the bios, the debug LED reads E2.  What does this mean?

59 is "CPU micro-code is not found or micro-code update is failed" - please tell me this isnt a bent pin or similar.

54 is ram is failing post.  I've reseated twice

00 isnt even listed?

7f is Reserved for future AMI DXE codes.. this sounds like another bios isssue?

Any ideas or should I forsake the forums and seek help in the official tech support realm?

How did you flash the bios? Can you describe the process you followed in detail? We may have some advice for you depending on that info.

Also, the bios 2.03 is in the forums. You can search for it, but may have to click the button at the bottom of the page that says 30 days and switch it to "beginning of time".

Alright, I've gotten it to post but no video signal.  Code Ab on diagnostic LED.

Ab means you’re in the bios. Try hdmi & dp outputs on your gpu. Sometimes a cmos reset will help get the display to show as well.

Thanks! Working on it between interruptions, no go for hdmi or DP.  I just reset the cmos with no effect.  Gonna try the latest bios (on 2.06 rn) and if that doesnt work im gonna throw a 2070 super into second pcie slot and work from there.  Open to suggestions, anecdotes or warnings tho, I troubleshoot like a man trying to find his glasses in the dark.  :)

Yup, I just sat down, threw the 2070 in and voila, got video signal.  I'm gonna install windows, call it a night and get to work on the nvidia firmware and bios updates tomorrow.  Thanks for your help :)
