I just ordered a 3080 FTW3 directly from EVGA (got in queue in September 2020!)-- are new products being shipped with the resizable BAR VBIOS or will I need to flash it?

Your card would be shipped with the non-Resizable BAR BIOS.

When does it crash?  Do you get a prompt to start flashing the BIOS, or does it crash before that?

Do I need to manually update my bios if I flashed the bios before turning off the CSM, or will there be a fix in the future? I figured the crash when updating was due to this? I updated my bios without disabling CSM in the motherboard, the update went fine. Now, it says that the I need to update it again, but just crashes. Hopefully, at least this specific situation can help provide more information about the crashes.
 
I have been waiting to try and manually update the bios because I really do not like updating a bios if I don't have to. I would rather let Precision update my bios if it can.
 
EDIT: Just to clarify, I do have CSM disabled now.

i want to enable Resizable Bar function but only works with one of my cards (2x3090 Kingpins with NVLink). If i have SLI enabled, the Resizable Bar function don't works because when is going to enter to the OS, the system restarts (all updated, BIOS, VBIOS, Drivers). What can i do?.

can you provide me a link please to the resize-bar BIOS for my card?  Since my X1 is crashing when I try to upgrade, I wanted to try manually upgrading bios.  My card is the 3090 FTW3 ultra hybrid.  I'm using the OC switch

Resizable Bar disappear on hotfix driver 466.55.
GPUZ and NCP show resizable bar is enabled, but x1 show disabled

work correct on 466.47

Why would you sell yours and go MSI over the resizable bar issue? Have fun waiting FOREVER to get an MSI 3090.

I thought resizable bar was having issues on all cards as it is still experimental.

With Nvidia releasing the 3080Ti/3070Ti (which I don't know why with the chip shortages) will these Ti versions have resizable bar already in their vbios, so we won't have to flash it for when that time comes when we can actually buy them? 

I'll go 100% chance.

Did Nvidia anounced the price for the 3070 ti?

Rumor is tonight will be the announcement. Not sure if that will include pricing. Certainly won't tell us what 3rd parties will charge.

I updated BIOS on my end and i have the Rsizable BAR enabled option.

 
 

About to take delivery of my FTW3 Ultra 3090 in a bit, just wanted to ask again if the eVGA 500w re-bar on 1st page of the XOC BIOS thread here https://forums.evga.com/EVGA-GeForce-RTX-3090-FTW3-XOC-BIOS-m3124192.aspx still a good bios to flash to?
