Hi Jacob, MY GPU: Part Number: 24G-P5-3987-KR Description: EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING, 24G-P5-3987-KR, 24GB GDDR6X, iCX3 Technology, ARGB LED, Metal Backplate Can you send me the latest Graphics VBIOS for my card (All types normal, overclock and XOC). Can I flash my GPU using Nvidia NVFlash? Let us know the release date of this BIOS please. Which BIOS version normal, overclock and XOC should you use and when? Are these BIOS support RBAR? The EVGA Precision X1 1.2.0.0 is giving me issues. Not updating Graphics VBIOS when I click on Update, Warning symbol next to my motherboard (message: Please check with your motherboard vendor). I have latest BIOS for my motherboard - Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero (BIOS 3501). EVGA Precision X1 showing Resizable BAR : DISABLED. But it is enabled in MB BIOS. Note: My friend has the same system config as me only the GPU is different he has Nvidia RTX 3090 FE and the Precision Tool works for him (no problem to detect rbar, we also have same motherboard and motherboard bios and motherboard config matched up). Can I run XOC BIOS files with the stock air cooler on my GPU or will I need custom water cooling if I want the 500 watt? Can I run OC BIOS files with the stock air cooler on my GPU or will I need custom water cooling? How much watt will OC give me? Will I need to switch the GPU switch from normal > OC ? When will you fix the rbar detect issue with EVGA Precision X1? It still is not fixed with the latest release 1.2.0.0 When should we use the Normal to OC switch on the GPU? please advise. Important: If your motherboard has a setting for CSM, please disable this BEFORE installing this update.
How do I fix this if I installed the new BIOS before disabling CSM? It seems to me like this warning should be put in Precision. Not everyone got the information from this thread and I’m sure not everyone who did read this.

Well, I have a 3080 XC3 Ultra with a Hybrid Kit, not FTW3. The fans can definetly go to zero rpm on this card when not under load. Unfortunatelly there is no BIOS listed for my card (10G-P5-3885-KR) in this thread. If i knew where to find the BIOS I would gladly update it with nvflash as the Precision X1 does not work.

I swapped it out last night for a XC3 3090 Hybrid and put the 3080 in my wife's machine. However, the 3090 isn't working. I know the setting is on through my motherboard. I disabled, restarted, and reenabled it as well. Precision X1 has checks everywhere except for the MB. When I put it in, it immediately updated the BIOS on the GPU. The NVIDIA control panel is also showing that it is not enabled.

Did you copy the nvml.dll file into EVGA folder? File is located in C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NVSMI.

Nope. I gave up on it. It seems support for the Hybrid BIOS just isn't there. Hopefully, they eventually fix it, but it seems to not be on their priority list at the moment.

I heard that the 3070s bios update sets the power limit lower than the limit in the bios it was shipped with. Was this resolved recently?

I am unable to update the vbios through precision as soon as I click update it tries to load then just turns off the program.

Is it possible to get the files for both the standard OC BIOS and also the XOC BIOS both with ReBAR support?

Hi Jacob the part number on my card is 24G-P5-3987-KR however whenever I try to update it tells me that no compatible display adapter has been found.
well your part number is not 3987 (forget stickers on the card or BOX) use GPU-Z it will tell you what is your board ID (visible in section Device ID) Note that revised card with PCB 1.0 are 3982 even when BOX and card itself states 3987.

Hi evga, need some help here.. 08G-P5-3751-KR  - CSM disabled.
- 4G encoding enabled.
- re-bar enabled.
MoBo vendor says the MoBo and the drivers are compatible. updated 2021-04-22. PX1 won't update, it keeps crashing. I tried a lot of versions including the one EVGATech_LeeM linked. I don't know what else to do.

I'm having same issue with x1 crashing when I try to update firmware. card is 3090 ftw3 ultra hybrid. I tried the 12.01 beta version as well as older with no change.. All bios settings are correct

When does it crash? Do you get a prompt to start flashing the BIOS, or does it crash before that?

I just ordered a 3080 FTW3 directly from EVGA (got in queue in September 2020!)-- are new products being shipped with the resizable BAR VBIOS or will I need to flash it?
