On the plus side I now no longer have the spare time to work on pc even if I got a HC card this week cause I am now working 7 day weeks for the next month and a half lol

There seems to be two main variables affecting the supply and demand.
Supply - Taiwan is experiencing a drought. I don’t know if that’s the root cause of the current supply constraint...I wouldn’t expect it to be since the fabs are supposedly getting the water they need, but it’s the only thing I’ve seen in the news. If Taiwan continues to experience drought, that could further limit supply.
Demand - The crypto boom. If crypto crashes that would alleviate demand, but if it continues, demand will continue at current levels.
I assume Taiwan will get rain and crypto will crash. If I’m right, my guess is the queue will be fulfilled by the end of Q3 2021.
If I’m wrong, expect this to be the new normal, just like masks.

Mondays are usually light days for drops. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are usually the big drop days. Thursday are hit or miss and then Fridays is usually dry. Sooooooooooooo we'll likely see the most movement for the week over the next two or three days.

I think Nvidia hit it like a bullseye. Make a PR announcement that makes it look like they care about gamers. Use that as a segway into their new CMP GPUs which they probably planned for a year ago. On release, they make it fairly easy to bypass or nothing at all which in that moment, they look amazing to both gamers and miners. Nvidia is a multi billion dollar company, they rarely make mistakes. Even that whole drama with HardwareUnboxed was planned as well. This shortage is also favorable to them since its better for demand to outpace supply then the other way around.
