discoglen25 exactly 1 minute from the 3657 and watch it will be stuck until next week now or move 59 seconds lol
That SKU has been seriously hauling. You've got a great chance to get one soon! I mean, anything would happen, and I don't want to give you false hopes, but I would be watching my email like a HAWK if I were you right now.

tshalev Wow, 3987 shot forward two days... On 10/18 now. I might actually end up getting that SKU if it keeps going at that rate đ
I truly regret not signing up for that SKU. I could have WAY back, and I actually signed up for the more expensive models of 3080, and even two 3090 models, as I thought the more expensive cards would ship faster. We were right about that, but I could've just as easily picked the 3987 as the other two 3090s I picked, and then I would be dangerously close to draining the bank account to buy one. Honestly, it's probably a GOOD thing I didn't pick that SKU. A 3080 is a lot more in the budget than a 3090.
The spreadsheets may be wrong. I have that queue still on 10/16.

PSA!I don't know if someone's already posted this, and I apologize for gumming up the queue discussion thread further, although this is a somewhat related post if you've recently ordered your GPU from EVGA and still need a CPU. I have been long awaiting a 3400G with the built in iGPU, and it looks like Newegg had a major restocking of some of their more budget offering CPUs today. If you're getting a 3000 series card and gaming at anything 1440p or above, any reasonably modern CPU will be just fine for you without bottlenecking anything but the most CPU intensive games (like civilization), which are very few and far between. At 1440p and above, you will be nearly entirely GPU bottlenecked still, and even a lowly i3 or Ryzen 3200 will generally be waiting for the GPU to catch up. At 1080p your modern GPU will probably provide ridiculously high frame rates to begin with, making the CPU's negative effect on framerates basically insignificant to the vast majority of users. https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?N=50001028%20100007671%20601294614&Manufactory=1028&Order=1 Order soon! I think the 3400G already sold out, but there are still many good budget CPUs still in stock. EDIT: They still have some 5000 series in stock at MSRP, too!! EDIT #2: Decent deal on an 850w PSU as well: https://www.newegg.com/ev...9680lw4601312085245952

EVGA is the ONLY AIB that has a queue system. For everyone else, it's up to luck and/or bots. Newegg is doing a "shuffle" lottery every day but that is going.... exactly how you would expect it to go.

Interesting FYI. As most of you, I'm sure, I am constantly checking Newegg. Hoping something pops up to purchase 𤣠Gigabytes cards prices have increased 20%. Or at least the higher end. Looks as though Asus too. MSI, dunno, they were all ready higher than other 2. EVGA... The 3080 FTW3 that is in my wish list, is no longer listed in the categories. Nor are any of the top of the lineup on any of the 30 series from EVGA.

Congratulations! Sounds like the queue worked like a "just-in-time" sourcing system; I think you are unique in that sense. Thanks for reporting back to the thread, for the kind words and for using the Associateâs Code for your 3% at discount; it is all appreciated. Enjoy your new card!

Let's not give them too much credit, they are breadcrumbing us like crazy. For the time we've all been in que, we could have put effort in and had cards by now. This system they've got is a controlled disaster. Nothing more.

Not that anomalies on the Newegg sight are uncommon. What I have noticed, is the night before a shuffle, if there are strange things happening with a card, it is usually on the shuffle the next day. So, maybe some FTW 3060ti, 3070, and 3080 in the shuffle tomorrow!?!? There was no shuffle today. So, tomorrow we can watch all of those beautiful cards disappear too..... đŞđ¤§

So long as you responded to the email with intent to purchase then they will resend it in the morning, at which point you will be able to buy it.

enewt If you receive an "invite to purchase" email and you miss the window, do the following: (1) reply to the email (it should have come from ) and indicate your desire to purchase the card. (2) call EVGA customer service during their working hours (9 am to 6 pm Weekdays (excluding EVGA holidays)): 1.888.881.EVGA (3842) (3) they should be able to locate your reply, confirm that the queue has reached your registration and reissue you a new email with a new link to purchase your card. It might take a day or so for them to confirm on-hand inventory and issue the replacement email. Please be vigilant about checking your in-box, whitelist with your preferred email client, and do not panic about the 8 hour window. EVGA will get you sorted. I would jump on this now. Best of luck!
This worked! I emailed and called, and they said basically don't worry we got you. They issued a new purchase email, and I just placed an order for a brand new 24G-P5-3988-KR with enewt's code. Thanks so much for your help.
AWESOME! So glad it worked out! I didn't do much here...this is all thanks to EVGA customer service! They really are superlative. Enjoy your new gaming goodness! (And thanks for using my Associateâs Code; it is appreciated.)

So it's guaranteed if I emailed? Because I really wasn't expecting the queue to increase by 10 minutes since it was always 1 minute per day. And then I read the email just now and I so sad to read that I was hours late. Really need an upgrade.

No, it isn't guaranteed. But a bunch of folks have been in your position and have asked for an accommodation to be allowed to still purchase the card despite missing the window. EVGA has consistently come through for folks (unless the email came days and days before and they are just now asking for help).... Again, per the recommended approach I described in my previous post: reply to the email, call customer service during business hours, etc. etc. Oh, and be polite to customer service...that always helps.

So I already emailed and it was outside of work hours. Should I send another email tomorrow? I don't want to flood their emails. Also, I got this email yesterday at 11 am. So, 3/9/2021. Is that too late?

It should be fine. Rather than email tomorrow, I would call them during their business hours. They should be able to track down your registration and get you sorted. Best of luck.

I hear you on the eating your feelings. I decided to master eggs benedict, made it every other day using 5 eggs (3 yolks for the holandise 2 poached for the center piece) for 6 months. Slowed to weekends only in February. But since then I have been running and waiting for a 3090. I was blessed with a 3060 yesterday, but friend needs it WAY more with his 780ti, so I am getting a $7 profit from the round up to $400 after evga shipping costs. Btw the total is $392.26 for a 3657 with out signature confirmation. And Enewt, please strap the alternator to the bike to offset the power of all these rtx 3000s added to the grid recently.

I know I was oversharing. This is largely a gaming forum, although for me it is more on the scientific side / graphic artist side. One is professional, the other is a hobby. I kind of hope to flip that in the future. I had a really bad night a couple of days ago, talking to one of my brothers. 3 of my brothers were also veterans, so it kind of stung more because being a veteran means something to me. Combat and non-combat veterans all came into the service not knowing when their number would be called. A few vets reached out to me, and I really appreciate that. Some non-vets did too. I'm glad you liked my quote enewt. I thank everyone who had kind words. I thank everyone for not griefing me, even though it was fair game to do so. This is a great forum. I know I'm new to here, but it has been a nice reprieve from covid. I guess we're getting to the tail end of that, but it's still scary. Makes other things come up in your mind because it feels like being deployed again. Not safe. Going to the elevator to get outside is daunting some days. It's why I never badmouth evga. Their workers are in a factory to make us happy. I imagine that can be a little scary, but it pays the bills. I'm less humble with nVidia.

Can I just say, this CPU block, now that it works (sort of, I'm ordering an EK connect controller to hopefully get it fully working & controllable) looks dope af? That's just it's default lighting pattern (rainbow wave I think). Also pretty happy with clear fluid, think I'm going to stick with it. Good luck on the drops today folks... hoping we hear something, finally, about Hydro-copper blocks being sold separately for sure soon, I want one for me card :-P Not because I "need it" but because I can. :-D

Looks quite nice @Dabadger84.
On general, how much should one set aside for a decent closed loop system? Iâm not looking to extreme OC, but just a decent cpu and GPU only water cooling system.
Also, being a complete noob on all things liquid cooling, if one gets one of these HC cards, it eliminates the need to get a separate water block (and the possible complications of installing it on the card), correct?
