EVGA can block the accounts since the purpose of queues like this is to get cards. All of this is easily accessible information anyone can get. I think comments like yours are more concerning than anything I have said on this forum.

someone I know just purchased their 3090 HC a few minutes ago...I hope this means they're going to reopen the queue

They should give us a heads-up about 36 to 48 hours before the button gets relit.  Again, it may require one more material drop...but that should be it.

Such a childish take...  The queue exists to prevent this very thing. Entitled children, wannabe gangsters, and criminals don't like rats.  These people took up a queue position with the sole intent of scalping for profit; they're trash.  I'm glad they're called out here; EVGA should ban them from any future purchasing

The bigger issue here is that this comment disturbs you.

I agree completely seems he may have something to hide..... Question is what will EVGA do about these scumbag scalpers....

I'll tell you what they can do. They should completely change their distributing system: not a queue, not a lottery, but auction!
EVGA will make more money, cards will be available to people who really need it and ready to pay for it, scalpers will be out because they can't make profit from cards that was bought by fair market price. Three birds with one rock!

There is no law against selling for more than you paid. This is America!

No one said there is. This is more of a question of if EVGA will stop easily spotted scalpers or not. If they don't then there will be lots of people who have a legitimate reason to be pissed at them. 

EVGA does not have anything about reselling cards in their terms and conditions.  Nobody likes scalpers, but it isn't their duty to you or anyone else to police what people do with the card they purchased, including reselling it.

I never said it was a violation of their terms and conditions. It is not their duty to do anything, you are correct. However, they can do something if they choose since it would be their choice. If enough people are angry about it, they could choose to cancel orders/ban known scalpers.

I think many are misunderstanding what I am saying. I am not saying they HAVE to do anything. I'm suggesting they should to save face in regard to their loyal customers.

You should have been quicker then they were, if anything they are probably more loyal than you are but are taking advantage of the situation to further their funds. It feels like the 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hydro Copper is nearing the end of Tranche #1. There shouldn't be too many folks that have registered for that card that haven't received an invite to purchase email yet...maybe one more material drop to that queue and EVGA should have completely serviced that cohort (such that they would hopefully relight the auto-notify button for a second (open-ended) tranche of registrants).

you still think they are going to give us a preparation window before they light the button correct?

no more movements on hybrid 3080??? I am in 10 min from last call, I hope 10min not be 10 years9 (((((

So tired of chasing cards to see them vanish while you have them in cart. Or never even having the chance to cart them before they go OOS. Watching countless hours of feeds for nothing. This whole ordeal really breaks a guy down.
 
Hopefully EVGA has some good news for me soon.

Its funny how you are telling me to "stop whining about it" when I am simply making a suggestion that EVGA should do it. I can layout an argument for why they should however that still would not be considered "whining". I have defended that scalpers serve a normal market function, however this does not mean companies need not deal with scalpers in any way they want.
 
Whats funnier though is how you feel the need to personally attack me. If I was as presumptuous as others, i would say a lot of people getting upset over suggestions might be scalpers themselves.

You literally went out of your way to find the scalpers and post them here. If you didn't want the negative or positive consequences, you would have emailed them to EVGA and not said anything in a public forum about it. Scalpers will scalp, and that is the way it is. I'm not personally attacking you, stop playing the victim, you attacked the people that you have defended. That is hypocritical and a fallacy in your argument. Move on and wait patiently for your turn. 
 
Edit: I don't agree with scalping off the queue system, but (from my understanding) the queue system was put in place to prevent bots from purchasing the stock, to scalp or to farm.
