Cawyke The people that bought these are customers also. They have decided to purchase and sell at a higher price. Just like people with tickets to sporting events and concerts. I'm not sure where you're from but ticket scalping is illegal or heavily restricted in several US states.
Ticket scalping is not illegal in the US. Not even close. There are local ordinances that prohibit scalpers from hanging out on venue property before the event, but that's about it. There is a huge industry built up around ticket scalping in the US and it's right out in the open. Politicians in DC are the only ones who can pass meaningful legislation when it comes to ticket scalping, but the same politicians sure like getting those court side seats for the NCAA final. You also have direct beneficiaries of ticket scalping like Stubhub and Ticketbastard who throw huge sums of money around in DC to keep the regulators away. Illegal? I wish.
scalping will never be illegal as long as real estate scalping exist and housing is a real essential need. but will never get banned cuz too much money to scalp land/homes to profit

enewt If you receive an "invite to purchase" email and you miss the window, do the following: (1) reply to the email (it should have come from ) and indicate your desire to purchase the card. (2) call EVGA customer service during their working hours (9 am to 6 pm Weekdays (excluding EVGA holidays)): 1.888.881.EVGA (3842) (3) they should be able to locate your reply, confirm that the queue has reached your registration and reissue you a new email with a new link to purchase your card. It might take a day or so for them to confirm on-hand inventory and issue the replacement email. Please be vigilant about checking your in-box, whitelist with your preferred email client, and do not panic about the 8 hour window. EVGA will get you sorted. I would jump on this now. Best of luck!
This worked! I emailed and called, and they said basically don't worry we got you. They issued a new purchase email, and I just placed an order for a brand new 24G-P5-3988-KR with enewt's code. Thanks so much for your help.
AWESOME! So glad it worked out! I didn't do much here...this is all thanks to EVGA customer service! They really are superlative. Enjoy your new gaming goodness! (And thanks for using my Associate’s Code; it is appreciated.)

Not the same thing. Not even close. With real estate, a buyer can opt to lower their expectations and buy something they can afford. It's a product that comes in a lot of shapes and sizes. There are plenty of places in the US where property values are dirt cheap. Beggars can't be choosers is all. Besides, a lot of "landlords" are losing their ***** right now, so it's not always a gravy train for them.

I don't think that it is actually on 10/18 because I've yet to receive a notification from 10/17/2020 6:30:03 PM PT on 3987 so unless somethings happened (I've checked both my notification tab through EVGA's website and my email) then it's likely someone made a mistake in reporting. I wish EVGA would post the time each queue is at, instead we have this scattershot approach to determining when we're getting the cards we want and it's clearly imperfect.

Hmm interesting, someone told me that they got notified and signed up on 10/18. Did you check your spam e-mail? It's not too unrealistic to imagine it jumping that far; I don't think there are too many people in that queue. I agree with you though, although it would come back to them not really wanting to report how many cards are going out each day probably...

Dabadger84 Just wanted to post a thank you to those that used my Rewards or Affiliate Code over the last few days, I've been kind of light on the forum side. Had to put the family's younger dog to sleep yesterday due to kidney failure, still processing that because it's quite a shock she's gone. She was only 7, which for her mix of breeds is far too young, she was a sweetheart who loved snuggles & attention just as much as barking at birds. Stay safe out there folks, and remember to cherish the loved ones you have while they're still around, because you never know when they might be gone.
First comment. I feel your pain. I lost my AMSTAFF 6 1/2 years. Then I lost my father not long after. Both were my best friends. It's a hell of a loss just w/ the pup.
Just now coming back to this thread & I saw these comments so thought I'd respond. I feel the same way, dogs are definitely members of the family as far as my family is concerned & this one going so young & so suddenly really has been scarring, I'm still not over it. jdcarpe So sorry for your loss. That's a tough one. It makes you realize there are way more important things in life than these little things we obsess over.
Indeed. I keep thinking about it while I've been working on this loop the last week or so and I have to pause & take a break. Brauer I'm really sorry to hear about your dog. I've gone through that with several dogs and cats and it is really tough even when they live long lives.
Yeah I know what you mean. Our previous oldest was almost 18 when he died of natural causes - he just stopped eating cuz he was ready to go. I took him to the vet & held him while he went, that dog I've had since I was still in school, he was a grumpy guy but always enjoyed my company and he was one of the only constants in my life throughout his life, losing him a unique loss that I don't think I'll ever experience the equivalent to again. Even losing this young one, hurt a lot for different reasons, because it was sudden, unexpected, and all that, really bites. Nike_7688 Sorry to hear that. I just went through the same thing the day after Christmas with my pup. He was about 6 and 3/4, which even though a giant breed, was too young. He had made it through all sorts of other issues and then suddenly got heart disease and that took him out quickly. It is never easy, it never heals fast, and here I am over two months later and I'm still a mess when I think about it too much. I'm not crying, you're crying. Oof...anyway. hang in there. Take care and make sure you follow your own advice there too.
That's exactly how I am even now & I lost my older guy over 2 years ago now... and now I have this one to deal with as well. Song lyrics from a newer song trigger thoughts pretty hard of both of them and every time I hear them I either almost cry or do cry thinking about it. Sorry to hear about your loss as well, it's never easy & it seems like it never stops hurting. Hopefully that's all of them, if not, sorry I missed you, but going through 32 pages of thread when I'm woosey from that stuff & what I talk about next is meh right now: This has been seriously frustrating with lighting issues on the CPU block & other things, but I've finally mostly got it sorted, I think... lighting is still sort of an issue, for some reason the CPU block's lighting wouldn't work at all properly, whether on a motherboard header directly, or regardless of what type of splitter or extender I had it plugged in to. At someone pointing out it existed, I ordered a Zalman RGB Controller - the CPU block lighting now works... but nothing plugged in to the controller will respond to the software's commands to said controller. BUT I'm not going to worry about that anymore right now, I've been working on this thing since I got up at 8PM yesterday. It's hooked up, looks like I got a good mount, leak free, and the lighting all works for once. It's funny, despite having up to 17 fans in the system, with them all quiet because it's idle as I type this, without the sides of the case on (I didn't put them back on yet) I can actually hear the pump on my Kingpin for the first time audibly... hardly noticeable, and in fact I can't hear it if the CPU pump goes to full speed, but it's there. I guess it's always been drown out by the fans previous to now. Congrats to everyone that got drops today & in the last week, hopefully the queue continues moving well despite any Lunar New Year effects/supply shortages of components.

I just double checked everything including spam, my update tab of gmail, and double checked the mynotifies page on the website and I haven't gotten any notifications. Something like this happened last week when someone put in that they received an email for 02/13/2021 (or something like that) which got corrected a little while later in the day so it's not without recent precedent to happen. I don't think telling people what time the queue is at would give away how many cards are being sold by them a day (or over time). For instance, the queue can jump by one day or it can jump by 30 minutes but without knowing the underlying amount of people in the queue between those time jumps you can't realistically determine how many were sold. As a concept it does not expose EVGA's sales data like telling people how many cards are between them and the queue while also providing fully reliable data on the last known position of the queue. They certainly can't make the argument that by providing the accurate time, people will be potentially discouraged from signing up because their lack of data forces people to rely on necessarily less reliable data because it is collected second hand by a small group of dedicated community members which can run into self reporting problems like the one we are potentially facing with 3987 at this very moment.

They dropped yesterday to the queue, so clearly there are some folks in the queue that intend to resell them...no doubt, at a price above MSRP.

Yeah the price is offensive. And how does one of them have 2 to sell if they are limited to 1 per household.

Hey guys/gals, first time posting here. I was just curious how to get my name on the Kingpin que sheet? I already have a notify que spot on EVGA's website (2-13-2021 @ 2:00:38pm PT). Not that it really matters but I just want to make sure the sheet is as accurate as possible. Appreciate the list and everyones work on this. This is truly the best system I have seen so far. I dont mind waiting as long as I know I have a spot in the que, I wish more stores, retailers, manufacturers would do something similar. Anyway, enjoy the rest of the day/night!!

skategeezer99 Yeah the price is offensive. And how does one of them have 2 to sell if they are limited to 1 per household.
Not sure; probably used dummy accounts. I try to avoid surfing ebay...it just pisses me off.

tshalev Wow, 3987 shot forward two days... On 10/18 now. I might actually end up getting that SKU if it keeps going at that rate 😅
You're right; I checked again with them and it was an error. Thanks for letting me know!
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the community spreadsheet ☺️. I hope you all get your card soon! If you found the spreadsheet useful, please consider using my associate code for your next purchase:

Since early February...I've been eating. A lot. One could say I've been eating my feelings. Well, I am announcing to the community that it ends today (in no small part because I just finished my last batch of waffles...hint: you have to beat the egg whites until they are stiff peaks and then fold them in at the end...oh, and heated real maple syrup is a requirement...not a nice-to-have). I am back exercising...as of tomorrow...stationary bike and soccer runabouts with my offspring (singular). I hope you are getting out and about...it is never too late and everything helps. As of 5:10 pm PT Wednesday, March 10, this is the status of the North American queues ( bolded font represents movement from the morning of March 10; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of movement from the prior report): Card SKU Auto-Notify Timestamp / (Change from Previous Summary) Ultra3090 FTW3 Ultra 3987 10/16/2020 11:06:06 (08:11:00) 3090 XC3 Ultra 3975 10/05/2020 20:52:00 3080 FTW3 Ultra 3897 09/20/2020 11:50:08 3080 XC3 Ultra 3885 09/18/2020 08:26:34 3070 FTW3 Ultra 3767 10/30/2020 08 :48:56 3070 XC3 Ultra 3755 11/06/2020 14:20:03 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra 3667 12/01/2020 07:20:52 Gaming3090 FTW3 Gaming 3985 09/24/2020 16:12:06 3090 XC3 Gaming 3973 09/24/2020 00:00:00 3080 FTW3 Gaming 3895 09/16/2020 00:00:00 3080 XC3 Gaming 3883 09/16/2020 11:01:20 3070 XC3 Gaming 3753 10/29/2020 06:20:00 3060 Ti FTW3 Gaming 3665 12/08/2020 15:52:06 3060 Ti XC3 Gaming 3663 12/01/2020 07:30:59 (00:03:04) 3060 XC3 Gaming 3657 02/25/2021 09:27:20 (00:04:09) Black3090 XC3 Black 3971 09/24/2020 00:00:00 3080 XC3 Black 3881 09/16/2020 15:14:00 3070 XC3 Black 3751 10/29/2020 06:19:23 3060 XC3 Black 3655 02/25/2021 09:02:11 Hybrid 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid 3988 12/10/2020 19:57:49 (03:12:04) 3090 XC3 Ultra Hybrid 3978 12/08/2020 14:19:07 3080 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid 3898 12/16/ 2020 09:05:12 3080 XC3 Ultra Hybrid 3888 12/10/2020 09:08:56 Hydro Copper (XC3 Delayed)3090 FTW 3 Ultra HC 3989 11/13/2020 09:54:29 (00:17:25)3090 XC3 Ultra HC 3979 11/13/2020 00:00:00 3080 FTW3 Ultra HC 3899 11/13/2020 09:13:29 3080 XC3 Ultra HC 3889 11/13/2020 00:00:00 K|NGP|N (Queue sheet) 3998 12/19/2020 16:25:12 (30:06:47) May your remaining wait be shorter than you anticipate; it is already longer than you deserve. enewt If you receive an "invite to purchase" email and you miss the window, do the following: (1) reply to the email (it should have come from ) and indicate your desire to purchase the card.
That is FANTASTIC news! Congrats on the new card. I am having to return the keyboard as the whole "linear and silent" keyboard is entirely the opposite of linear and silent. In typical EVGA fashion, their support is taking excellent care of me. I really wish that it was a quieter keyboard, as other than the loud clicky sound it is otherwise FANTASTIC. If you like clicky keyboards with short travel and soft but still somehow magically springy resistance, it is truly exceptional. The build quality is impeccable, the RGB is gorgeous, and that whole proximity sensor thing must be experienced in person to truly be appreciated for how awesome it is and how awesome it makes you feel. At the "elite" pricing discount, it is truly a steal, just way way too clicky and noisy for me. actek23 No Jacob today??
I haven't seen him, but it's very possible I missed him. That said, I have seen at least three or more SKUs dropping in good volumes. It seems to have been a good day so far! Of course I could be a little more optimistic than usual as I was able to order a 3060. tshalev Wow, 3987 shot forward two days... On 10/18 now. I truly regret not signing up for that SKU. I could have WAY back, and I actually signed up for the more expensive models of 3080, and even two 3090 models, as I thought the more expensive cards would ship faster. We were right about that, but I could've just as easily picked the 3987 as the other two 3090s I picked, and then I would be dangerously close to draining the bank account to buy one. Honestly, it's probably a GOOD thing I didn't pick that SKU. A 3080 is a lot more in the budget than a 3090.
