Pulled my name from queue last night, I was lucky to purchase a 3090 on 2/5/21 from micro center, not so lucky to have to spend double on a card way above what I need, was hoping to land a 3080, and would have sold the 3090 to a forum member for cost of card, but seeing what’s going on I couldn’t hold off anymore ,3 months of looking at new build, opened it last night to fire it up, had to check for any DOA items , card in sitting outside case in temporary holder, being waterblocks seem to be just as Scarce as chips lmao. Good luck to all , hope things drop sooner than later for all.

enewtAs of 4:45 pm PT Friday afternoon, February 26, this is the status of the North American queues (bolded font represents movement from the morning of Friday, February 26; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of movement from the prior report): Card SKU Auto-Notify Timestamp / (Change from Previous Summary) Do you have snapshots of this data? I want to make a chart to see how line rate changes over time. Is it slow down or is it speed up.
If you go back through the thread a bit (I apologize I can’t give you the exact page number, but hopefully the relevant member sees and will respond), there is actually a forum member here who has tried to trend the data and posts charts from time to time. It seems like pretty linear movement, tbh (at least for most cards), but it’s hard to tell what’s going to happen in the future.
This. Also --although it would be a painful process and I do not recommend it -- the historical record is mostly preserved in the pages of this thread (most morning summaries are in the 8 am PT hour, evening summary post times vary and I would ignore them for your exercise as they will be mostly duplicative). And past volumes and cadences do not guarantee a similar future. Also, with the periodic introduction of new cards, the data has a tremendous number of variables which would, I am afraid, make it an exercise in futulity. But, again, #WhatTheRealMikeVanSaid.
It always gives me such a warm, fuzzy feeling when you agree with me

philipma1957 I think we will get no cards next week due to the feb 12- feb 26 lunar New Years .
We shouldn't see a dead stop from IF Lunar New Year actually meant all production halted, until around 3-4 weeks from now, it takes about that long for a card to go from where it starts, to where it's made, to where it can be sent out to us via the queue.
Thank you. so Mar 1 to Mar 21 = good. then a slow up Mar 21 to April 5 So maybe only 3 weeks chance for a low cost card. uggg

Don't worry. Everybody will soon be able to get all the cards they want. According to Tom's Hardware, Biden is launching an investigation into the shortages. Surely we will have GTX 3000 series cards coming out of our ears within 100 days. And all the kids, who will then be back in school, will be able to play on their PS5s and Xboxes instead of wasting time on homework. This isn't political. I doubt the Republicans would be any better at fixing the problem had Trump been re-elected. It's just a comment on how politicians like to make grandiose pronouncements while doing nothing to solve the problems. BTW, another Tom's Hardware article said that the GPU shortages are largely due to Samsung getting relatively low yields on the process used for Nvidia GPUs. I don't know if that is correct, but it sounds like a probable explanation. Maybe the die shrinks are being pursued too quickly and yields are suffering as a result. PS5 and Xbox Series X stock — Biden launching investigation into component shortageBy Henry T. Casey 3 days ago (Image credit: Jim Watson, Getty Images) The story of never-ending PS5 and Xbox Series X stock shortages is getting a new character: President Joe Biden. The recently-elected commander in chief is expected to sign an executive order starting an investigation into solving the root issues. As the Wall Street Journal reports, "The executive order calls for a 100-day review of supply chains for four areas." Those include the "semiconductors, used in products from cars to phones," and of course, the hard-to-find PS5 and Xbox Series X. The investigation isn't just looking into computer chips. National security is also on the table, as the Journal reminds us that neodymium, one of the resources in short-supply, "is needed for the solid-state lasers used to designate missile targets."

Lebon14 So... there's this idea that popped in my head tonight. So, let's say there's five 3897 that arrived to be distributed to the queue. The first 4 would go to the first 4 next people in queue like normal. However, the last one would go in a shuffle with the remaining people of the queue. The advantage of this is to keep the morale high for those that joined very late like myself. HOWEVER, if there are 3 or less cards, there won't be a shuffle and the queue order takes priority, to be fair. The only issue I see is really how to handle to notification between somebody that just happen its turn and somebody that won the raffle. Rate my idea?
0* because imagine you are the fifth in queue and you just lost your card for someone on queue number 3 milion and the next drop is in a 2 month.
No, it doesn't matter. Think about it. If there were 4 cards only, the 5th one directly after in the queue is going to get the shaft anyway. So, if there are 5, the 6th one directly in the queue will get the shaft too. However, with the raffle, the 5th one still have a chance to get a card despite the low probability.

I agree with Blubbo: The suggestion is inane. While it might delight the person whoever got his card before his turn, it certainly would NOT help the morale of someone who, after waiting a long time, lost his card to someone who signed up much later. Also, running a shuffle in addition to the queue would be much more work for EVGA. If EVGA really wanted to drive its customers crazy by adding to the randomness as you suggest, it could occasionally send an 3080 to someone who paid for a 3060 and a 3060 to someone who paid for a 3080. Whoever got a 3080 for the price of a 3060 would no doubt be thrilled, but I wager that whoever paid for a 3080 and got a 3060 would be yelling "fraud". The only fair thing is for everyone to wait his turn and get what he buys. And that is what EVGA is doing.

Another card free day. Just 1 MSRP priced card from the queue would have been nice. I have some luck on the shuffle with newegg but I did have to over pay a bit on them.

Many people are in the queue that have gpu's. I am a disabled veteran and I build a few rigs each year to have some extra money. I have been doing this since 2006 I started on Mac minis.

Since EVGA doesn't tend to send out notifications on Saturdays, we also see a lower number of folks reporting back here with their "yes" notifications on Saturdays as well. I have not seen Newegg do a Saturday shuffle yet. Did they do one today, and I missed it?? Also, what card did you get from the shuffle?

EVGA does not send out "invite to purchase" emails on weekends or EVGA holidays, so anybody who reports back on a weekend is likely reporting an email sent on Friday (and are just getting around to reporting back to the thread). And for the record, every report is helpful...even one that comes days after the purchase was made.

FR33DXM Has anyone that Queue'd up in December received a card yet? I queue'd on December 15th with a confirmation e-mail etc... Still waiting patiently :P
It depends on the card for which you queued up. The 3060Tis, Hybrids and Kingpin queues have all serviced registrants with December timestamps. The card queues that started in September, October and November, they are mostly still in their launch month (except the 3090 Ultras have moved from September to October). So, again, it depends on which card you queued up for. Here is the latest summary for North America: . I hope that helps. Best of luck!
Thank you for the reply. I checked my notifications and I realized the other variant of the 3080 I wanted wasn't even on there... RIP :P 10G-P5-3897-KR12/15/2020 6:54:54 AM PTNo

I got an evga 3090 3987-kr. they charged about 2076 counting tax an up charge of 150 usd. I am build a rig for my friends wife she was going to get a 3080 so she is getting a 3090. I am waiting for 11th gen intel i7 to come out and the newer mobos. I have all the other parts. In order to lower price for the build I am mining the card and have earned back a few hundred dollars. If all parts arrive by April I will be able to 400-500 mining the card and then she would get a slightly used 3090 with a 5 year warranty as I purchased one from evga. Since she can not get the 11th gen yet it is working out. So far I have built a few 3000 series rigs. I will continue to do this during the year.

If you're looking for a high-end processor, have you considered AMD if waiting for intel is holding you back? They have taken the lead in offering the best processors in the market.

You need to give us more information. Which SKUs did you register for and when did you do so? Regardless, to answer you question, it’s almost a 100% no, none of us can give you any sort of accurate estimate. Unless you are hours (or for certain cards, MINUTES) out from Enewt’s summary, there’s just no way of giving you a good guess. From your asking if this question, I assume you’re not that close and haven’t been following the thread :/ I would recommend you just check back on this thread for progress for your card and don’t even worry about checking your email until you get close. You’ll have eight hours on the day you finally get your email so you don’t have to worry that much about catching the notification. Good luck.

Just noticed the GTX 1650 Super is back on the product page. Might be worth it for some people in this gpu drought. It performs just a bit better than a 980 but under a 980 Ti. It could not have been super long since it came back up since somebody asked Jacob about it and he said they were coming back maybe 1-2 weeks ago. Exact response on Twitter was on the 19th Considering a 980 is easily 200+ and a 980 Ti approaches 300 on Ebay, this card might help some folks out in the mean time.

I want to get her an amd 3900 as I have it in the parts bin, but she is an intel loyalist. It kind of works out as waiting 60 days or so will allow me to pass on the mining earnings in her sale price. I have been doing this with rigs since 2012. My customers get 2-3 month old gpus with warranty service and they get a discount on the gear.

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process

Honestly, all the time I've spent refreshing pages and hoping to get a good deal with one of these cards is truly not worth the effort. Here's a story for y'all:
Around September, I had preordered a 3080 from a local store here in Greece. (plaisio.gr) I paid 30% of the card's projected price and was told that I would get my card a few days after its launch. With the launch being what it is, I called them and asked, "Hey. Are you guys sure you're going to be able to deliver? Should I look elsewhere?", to which they replied "Everything's fine sir, we have enough stock to cover our preorders, you can expect your delivery within the next 10 days. So that was a bold faced lie and should come to no surprise today, but for myself at that time, it was somewhat frustrating. So I called them again 2 weeks after the missed deadline. They said 'the shortage is much worse than we anticipated but we will get you your card by black friday'. I said 'you better, or I'm going to pursue legal action'. Black friday came and went, there were several phonecalls, i even sent my lawyer after them (who will win the case by the way, but that sort of legal action takes years to resolve in Greece) but I still got nowhere closer to getting a card. So around november, I started scouring the net. I signed up on this queue super late because of this, and even then was dumb enough to only queue for the 3080s since that was the only card I was really interested in. Since then i've signed up for various notifications, I set up friends and family addresses on various european cities that can get FE cards shipped to should they drop in those area, and I've watched as the prices go up up up while availability seemingly gets even lower. Stores in Greece now sell 3070 cards at 1300eur, 3090 cards at 3000eur, and they still sell out within seconds.
So I've had enough. I'm tapping out. I'll keep using my 970 until this blows over. Somehow gamers have been turned into addicts, willing to pay exorbitant prices for cards, even if that card isn't the one they originally wanted, and then put that card into mining to make some money back. It's nuts.
I'll just patiently wait for a card that's available, that I can pick up without hassle. I just can't feel angry or sad anymore every time I 'miss a drop' or some nonsense, lol. I really hope y'all get what you want. Good luck!

You make some good points, for sure! It is a difficult time right now, and the market is indeed nuts. I thought people were crazy purchasing 3000 series cards for 2x MSRP on ebay, but now we are seeing 3x-4x. And I'm right there with you on the frustration of waiting! I spent six overnights camping in a line in front of a microcenter, several of which were at below freezing temperatures, plus several times showing up as early as 4am to line up, hoping for a 3080. Still no 3080. I consider myself lucky to have a 3070 to game on, but I can't believe how hard it has been to get a 3080. I think if you try for a 3070, your search will be more fruitful. Of all the cards dropped at Microcenter (which I have been watching for weeks now, including the discord) the 3070s drop the highest volume BY FAR. I would venture to say that the volume of 3070 they sell is more than the combined total of 6800 + 6800XT + 6900XT + 3060ti + 3080 +3090. I realize that is quite a bold statement, but on one of the mornings I saw a decent drop, they had 1 or 2 3080s and 18 3070s. The biggest drop I have seen there (they were all sold out, as I did not camp out that morning) they actually had over 200 3000-series cards in one day! Only 8 of them were 3080s. The rest were ALL 3070. Its an overwhelming majority. My advice is to try for a 3070. They are quite capable at 4k gaming in most titles and much more power efficient than a 3080.

P.S. Sorry for my Greek.I know, this is a global forum just im from Greece too and sharing some thoughts about how bad is the shops' policy here in Greece.

10G-P5-3897-KR 9/20/2020 8:54:05 AM PT No Finally some light at the end of the tunnel for me. Hopefully I can get the card in the next 2-3 weeks. I'm upgrading from a EVGA 980 Super. This card has served me well for several years but its time to move on.

It appears that EVGA is giving away the very card I've been in the queue to buy for 159 days. Would be a uplifting end to what has been an abysmal customer experience.

EVGA sort of does this with each new model. You try and get a better place in the new queue. Which would not be so bad if they did not have so many models that are not made anymore. That stings.
