Anyone else notice how the price of everything did an insane 3rd party price jump in the last 10 days? I've been on the fence about waiting indefinitely since I need a 3090 pretty soon for my work. I was just about to finally cave in and purchase one on ebay but instead decided to wait a week to see if I got any notifications. I sort of regret not pulling the trigger on a Buy It Now 3090 FTW3 Hybrid for $2,700... This is getting insane. 

Try the K|ngP|n queue if you're willing to spend that much. My turn came up pretty quick, but I just couldn't pull the trigger (already have a 3080 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid).

I was wondering the exact same thing.  I turned Elite 2 days ago, and added myself to the Kingpin notify list.
Then, when I looked at the price, I wondered if, when the time comes, would I really be able to pull the trigger and pay 2 stacks (look at me, I sound like I have street cred) for any video card.

Then I started wondering, besides me, who else would bail on that kind of a purchase (Except overclocker pros, of course).  I remember when the Titan came out.  Back then you could get whatever card you wanted.

I imagine it depends on what the queue looks like when I get a Kingpin notification.
BTW--is there a different place to sign up for the Kingpin, or is it the same notification link as the other cards?

I came up in the kingpin queue.. i didn't expect it so soon after...had literally paid all my bills ahead not 6hrs before the email.. now I put that money aside and unless some crazy emergency comes up that's what it is for..  Do i "need" a kingpin card.. not really but I will definitely make the best use of it when I get one.. I'm in the queue for a bunch of cards and i'll happily sit with a lesser card for a bit (maybe go right into the step up) but the goal is for sure to have a kingpin when the dust settles...  also I think you can only signup for a kingpin from the elite members area or if logged in as an elite member.

I thought they tweeted 12 (noon)? This is the first I've heard 9am.
 
Edit: That's due to time zone differences. They announced 9AM Pacific Time. So 11am my time zone (central). 10am mountain time. 
 
But yeah, do you know of the potential link for the other model? EVGA is releasing two, I believe.

I have yet to see Gaming move and the Ultra moves only once every other blue moon.
 
I'm also sad my 3080 Ultra Amazon order got canceled in January

I believe it is less margin, black & FTW gaming are lower end of the price stack.   Might have chance with FTW3 Ultra but not as much as water cooled ones.

Watching the bouncing GME stock price has been a bizarre experience, but my conclusion (for today) is that it is ultimately a pump and dump story with a heart of gold…?!? 

 
But listening to the NVIDIA earnings call and watching its stock price creep ever higher…while intimately experiencing the pain and frustration resulting from the decisions NVIDIA made this fall…that has been a rude reminder that we are just a small, once-important cohort on the all-but-forgotten edge of their overall market opportunity.
 
But let's talk about those of us that remain on the wall. Tomorrow is a new opportunity…to sign up for a queue (or two). The 3060 launches tomorrow – purportedly at 9 am PT. If past is precedent, EVGA may turn on the auto-notify button up to a few minutes before the 9 am PT launch time. I’ve added below two placeholders for the 3060 skus (below...bottom of the table...I will move them to their appropriate places in the table tomorrow night after the launch). If you are interested in the 3060, please be prepared to F5 your little heart out tomorrow at 9 am PT…and be prepared for the site to crash/lag. Best of luck!

No, you cannot gift slots in the queue.  Otherwise, it would be a whole new market for scalpers.
