It may be really useful to understand what is going on...
EVGA will never do this, the fact they placed a notice that support does not have this information and they will not provide the number of drops for each day

It may be really useful to understand what is going on... Zero chance. While the queue is technically better than nothing, it's 2% effective and 98% placebo and a low-cost way to garner Good Guy EVGA status. But that only works if it's kept vague and you can spend each day thinking "Hey, maybe today...". If you could concretely see that you've been #2,320 for the last four months, that all drops away and people riot.

That's why you hedge your bets. As a consumer you place a pre order with a big chain who is likely to get supplied due to their agreement to distribute products.
Whichever comes first wins. Cancel the other one. I'm the customer. Not an indentured servant. Always had your bets folks.

Looks like the eBay scalpers are starting to price the 3080 FTW3 Ultra at around $2500 now. This is really getting out of hand.
You should go see the hybrids that are listed as well as there are a few. The queue system isn't completely stopping the turn around and selling it for a profit. Does give the little guy a fighting chance though.

There was a report I saw earlier indicating that in one of the major regions, AIB partners received 0 chips in January. If that is the case, this is probably the beginning of a major lull. It sure looks that way based on the drops recently. Plus, there is a ramp up of the new 3060 that is probably impacting size of shipments.
It's a shame as I have been following resale sites for fun and there is very little capacity. I'm seeing 2000 series cards now selling used for more than they were new in some instances.

So I think I may have pulled a bonehead move here. I signed up for auto notify (for the 3080 FTW3 ultra) on 12/1/20 at 10:34:51 AM, but...I just made an EVGA account today on 2/24/21 because I didn't know I had to have an EVGA account in order to receive the auto notify. I thought it would just get sent to my email, but I just read that it must match an email on an existing EVGA account. Currently, when I go to my "My notifies" page under "Notify Sent" it says no. I am assuming that I am still in line in the same place as I always have been and the notify was just never sent in the first place as of yet since it says no. I'm hoping anyways. Thanks in advance.

If it is listed in your My Notifies, then you are in the queue. It will say Yes, when you receive an e-mail from EVGA for your turn to purchase the card of your choice.

Anyone else notice how the price of everything did an insane 3rd party price jump in the last 10 days? I've been on the fence about waiting indefinitely since I need a 3090 pretty soon for my work. I was just about to finally cave in and purchase one on ebay but instead decided to wait a week to see if I got any notifications. I sort of regret not pulling the trigger on a Buy It Now 3090 FTW3 Hybrid for $2,700... This is getting insane.

Try the K|ngP|n queue if you're willing to spend that much. My turn came up pretty quick, but I just couldn't pull the trigger (already have a 3080 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid).

I am in a bit of mourning today. I spent many an hour meandering through the aisles of Fry’s with my Dad…I LOVED those trips…often we would leave with a new game, sometimes a new mouse or other computer peripheral, sometimes we would depart with just some good laughs at what we found among those wide, dimly-lit isles. But those trips were almost always good and valuable time together. (Each store had a different theme -- I was always partial to the Tiki-vibe in El Segundo, but the crashed spaceship was also pretty cool; for those fortunate enough to visit one during Fry's golden years, which was your favorite?)
My Dad passed away a few years ago and with Fry’s shuttering their doors last night (let’s be honest, they should have been shuttered years ago), it is just one more thing that slides (perhaps less than gracefully) into the dustbin of history. Fry’s will always have a special place in my memories of gaming, of geekdom and of my youth. I almost wish you didn't live long enough to see the 2020-2021 Tech Launch Debacle™ (© NVIDIA Corp. 2020-2023). Fair winds and following seas, dear Fry’s.

I feel you there. My dad passed away a few years ago as well. And even though time has gone by, there are still moments where it hits you fresh again. Like someplace you guys used to go closing. Or your kids doing something that you wish you could share. I sometimes think it would be really nice to just have a few more words together. I think what helps me is I know I can still share those words with him. I will not hear back, but I still know who I am talking to. Cheers.
