__Grig__ wait, so if i signed up for the queue on 09/21 for the 3080 FTW3, am i in "risk" of the price hike or....am i good?
Provided you get your "invite to purchase" email from EVGA on or before April 16, you should be good to go. If it comes after April 16, it doesn't matter when you joined the queue.
rip....well, it looks like i should get my turn before then, but idk

Been lurking here for quite a while. Decided to post to contribute / ask a question! I'm currently queued for some cards, but below SKU is awefully close. My timestamp for the notify; 08G-P5-3751-KR 10/29/2020 6:15:19 AM PT No Is there no movement at all for the 3070 XC Black? Seems the last update for this queue was november 25th, and the timestamp there was 2 mins before my position. So thats 3 months with no movement?

Good luck on the drops today everyone! Just some informations that some might find useful (if there are any drops today) : - Associates Code gets you a discount (3% off GPUs, up to 10% off other products on eVGA.com, several people have Associates Code links in their signatures)
- When registering your card (after you receive it), use an eVGA Rewards Code when registering, it gives the person who's code you use 2 free eVGA Bucks; consider looking through the thread for someone that has one listed & has not gotten their GPU yet - it's not much, but it's something
- Hybrid card tube length is 400mm and should be mounted as exhaust whenever possible to avoid feeding your system lava air as intake
- if you purchase a card elsewhere, don't remove your notifies until you receive it, just to be on the safe side
- PSU recommendations are 750-850W Minimum for a 3080, 850-1000W for a 3090 if you want to be on the "safe" side
- Lastly, Kingpin fan cords are only 6" long, and the stock fans are garbage, you should plan on replacing them

#GigaBITE - that sucks. Hopefully whatever needs to be RMAed will be a smooth process for you.

Might just return the whole system. Heard that they prioritize new builds over GPU rmas.

The only good gigabyte is the Aorus Master their top of the line card.

O_o while in the current GPU climate that makes sense business wise, that's pretty crappy for customers that receive bad GPUs. philipma1957 The only good gigabyte is the Aorus Master their top of the line card.
Yeah it also applies to Motherboards, less so though, the others are still "good" they're just not "great". My current board will be my last Gigabyte product for a while, nothing against them (I did have issues with another build involving an Gigabyte Z390 board, and my board occasionally just loses the ability to see the top M.2 drive slot for seemingly no reason, which meant I can't put my Windows drive in that slot or the system just won't boot sometimes), but with my GPU being eVGA, motherboard planning to be eVGA as well, and knowing I'll never in a million years purchase one of their PSUs (because they're garb) or CPU coolers (because they're overpriced), don't see myself having another Gigabyte product for a while, if ever. Waiting on EK to reply to the latest message about my fault-lighting CPU block... apparently it's going to be an RMA, which I expected, seeing if they're able to do Advanced RMA where I give them a card to keep on file until the exchange process is complete. I really don't want to deal with extended down time (having to store the coolant, make sure the loop parts are packed so they don't get dust or anything in them, etc), so that would be highly preferable, and the only other option, taking the block apart & swapping the RGB LED part myself, is definitely a no - not risking compromising the leak-freeness of my block just to replace a part that shouldn't've been shipped in a faulty state to begin with. That really irritates me the more I think about it, how did they not do a simple "does this work" test on this block's lighting before it was packaged. Takes two seconds to plug something in to a powered 5V RGB header & see if it works or not... granted, I should've checked it myself when it arrived to avoid this situation, but lesson learned on my part.

I used to have a gigabyte rx 470 which worked fine. I have a z97 gigabyte board tho and it has crazy amounts of issues. 2 ram slots died but both on the same side so no duel channel, motherboard would crash system if CPU was OCd manually or with a boost, internet randomly went out, issues with the system waking from sleep randomly, all of this started showing out of warranty lolol. I think a lot of manufacturers right now are skipping the testing phase to cut corners/meet demand. My cyberpower shipped without windows so they must have just assembled it and looked to see if it turned on.

Dang we're finally seeing some decent movement with this queue. I had all but given up hope of getting mine before the 4/16 cutoff, but I'm feeling somewhat confident now. My notification is set for 9/20 at 5:51, so maybe even within the next four weeks! PS- Thanks for the daily updates. I'll certainly be using your Associates Code. A minor suggestion, you should include a link to that Google Sheets page you use for these trackers. It'd make them super easy for guys like me who come here and go for your updates immediately Thanks!

With 3070 cards, I'm going with 850 psu .... I currently have 650 psu, but I think 3070 are like the 3080 ... but you can tell me if that's overkill or a wise decision (upgrading to 850 from 650). I have a ryzen 9 3900xt with 2 1tb ssd and 2 1tb hdd (but will be adding a 4tb or 6tb hdd). also have a 1070 (waiting for 3070 in queue system).

If you see cards listed on your "my notifies" page, you can confirm the associated email by browsing to the "my profile" page. Your email should be listed right at the top.

I’m running a FTW 3070 with a 750 Corsair RM and it’s been plenty. 10600k, MSI Gaming Edge, EVGA AIO, 1 M.2 1TB and 1 2TB SSD. My son has a 3080 XC3 hybrid on a Corsair 850 RMx and no issues with that one. 5800x, MSI Carbon WiFi, Arctic 360 AIO. 2 M.2 1TB drives and 1 2TB SSD. Bottom line is I think 850 is more than you need for a 3070 but the extra power couldn’t hurt if you want room for future upgrades.

Alright. Alright. Alright. I am ambitious enough to think we are going to get some healthy 3897 drops today in spite of the 3060 preparations going on behind the scenes. I will, of course, sign up for those as well. Just like all the other cards on my notifies. If you give a starving man a saltine cracker, it tastes like a Ritz. Good luck all.

I hope it has a nice drop as well. I want all cards to have a good drop. Would be interesting to see if NVIDIA was more prepared for the 3060 drop and be the reason why cards have been so slow on moving out lately.

I will, of course, sign up for those as well. Just like all the other cards on my notifies. If you give a starving man a saltine cracker, it tastes like a Ritz. Good luck all.
I'm guessing we'll see some straggler 3897 drops today since 3897 just dropped yesterday, but I'd love to be proven wrong AND given how the card is moving a straggler drop might still bring it forward a decent amount.

Yeah and as enewt had said in a post only 3898's have dropped one time together in the same week as 3897 so I am holding my breath on breaking that this week.

sturm375 Not selected again in the Newegg Shuffle, 0/12
I have been selected twice in the shuffle. Both times the items were still out of stock lol. The shuffle is BS
Did you log in to your account to see the item in your cart? I won twice and saw it was "sold out" but in the email link from newegg, it specifically said you had to log into your account to see the item in your cart.

Dabadger84 Good luck on the drops today everyone!
- Lastly, Kingpin fan cords are only 6" long, and the stock fans are garbage, you should plan on replacing them
With 3070 cards, I'm going with 850 psu ....
I have a 750 psu, and waiting for the 3070, but I think it was 650 min for 3070
