So I'm in the NA queue for the Ultra, Gaming, and Black 3080s on 10/07 at around 2 PM. What's the over/under of one of the queues getting that far before the April 16th price cutoff?
You’re after the next projected bottleneck on 10/5 and 10/6, so I’m going to guess over.. BUT, anything could happen, so keep the faith! I hope you’re able to get yours sooner rather than later.

If you were in the applicable queue as of January 11 and receive the invite to purchase email by April 16, you get the original grandfathered 2020 price. If not, you get the more expensive 2021 price.

Looks like you got 1:14 to go before your notification, as far as movement, none since the first few months of this thing. Absolutely nothing this year. There is hope, Jacob (evga rep) said there were some XC3 3080's in the pipeline for next month??? It's in a twitter post by him, also quoted within the last few pages of this thread.

There is a price hike on the cards. I think it varies depending on the card you are looking for. IF you are in the queue for a card AND you are offered the chance to purchase before April 16th, then you get to pay the original price for the card and NOT the increased price.

I scored a 5900X from a mom-and-pop PC store in London, Ontario Canada. I overpaid by at least 150$CAD (paid 980$CAD) but at least it's not a scalper and I'm actually helping a business that's been around since 2003. For those, in Canada, that wants one (4 left) here's the link: http://megacomputer.ca/index.php/main/Product/CPUA0187 (at the time of posting, it says 5 in stock but my "copy" was not removed from stock yet it seems). So there's 4 left. You'll have to contact them by email to get your order done because they have an anti-bot ordering system and flags the CPU as being over 30kg. At least, it looks like an anti-bot system.

Well, yes and no. We know how much time left relative to the time we enter but, what we don't know are: * How many people between our sign up time and the current report. * How many cards moved within each reports. * How many cards total they receive for the queue each day. So, yeah. You are in for the long haul. The upside is, if you keep waiting, you'll be 100% certain to get yours at MSRP. And I'm in the same boat as you (look at my signature).

Nice! Well if Canada Computers opens next week from lockdown I can always back order and pay up front. Think they are doing msrp but we will see.
My 5800x arrives tomorrow and the GPU is the last piece. I'm excited to get back into PC gaming again after my son waylaid me with that damn PlayStation 4 world. Always had EVGA products and they've done well for me. Now it's just a matter of sourcing it.

First time checking this thread in a couple of weeks to see if the 3881 had moved at all. Good to know this card is dead so I can stop thinking about it and the April MSRP cutoff. Wish they would make an official statement, but this is better than nothing I guess.

The April cutoff is no longer an issue for me either. There is no way I will get a 3898 before then. I'm a little over 4 minutes away in a queue that isn't moving. The only thing that could save me is there not being very many time stamps in between me and my new card. The server bogged down pretty bad and a lot of people had trouble getting a time stamp inside of 9:10, so who knows. The queue moved a lot on 2/9. Either it was a big drop, or a lot of the people who got an early time stamp are on this forum and used the direct link that was posted.
There will be at least one more hybrid drop before the April cutoff. Maybe even two depending on what's on those container ships that are waiting to unload. If the 3898 queue moves as much as it did on 2/9 I might be able to catch the end of the next drop.... whenever that happens.

Provided you get your "invite to purchase" email from EVGA on or before April 16, you should be good to go. If it comes after April 16, it doesn't matter when you joined the queue.
