Not quite. It moved 1 hour and 27 minutes yesterday, not in total. The italicized parenthetical reflects movement since the last weekday morning. Says it in the preface to the table. But, yes, the queues are still moving way too slowly for my liking.
So, in the almost 4 months of this launch, the timeline has moved almost 1.5 days. Woot?!?
the one plus (for the FTW Ultra) is that the last time I checked the sheet back in the stone ages that ~60% of sign ups were before 5PM (EOB) 9/18. The remaining 40% was distributed over several weeks. As I mentioned previously March will have few drops due to Golden Week so getting some movement before then would be nice.

Thanks for providing the update. Looks like those 3090s is moving a little slow, since it's only a one day difference, but better than nothing. So I have about 7 days left it seems. I really do not want to pay extra after April. I would feel like a horrible customer, while scalpers gets it first and pay at a cheaper price. I am grateful that EVGA is allowing the same price before April, though.

Actually, more like two days, right? Since the notify button went live on the 16th? Woo hoo!
For the 3897, let's call it almost 36 hours...35:03:58 to be exact.

The queues for cards that launched after 10/5 are definitely front loaded in the extreme as everybody knew the value of the auto-notify button by then. For queues of cards launched before 10/5, they will have significant registration congestion around their launch day but another sizable load on 10/5 and 10/6. But, in general, the farther into the timeline a queue gets, the more folks will pass (as they have secured a card from a different queue or a different non-queue channel altogether) and the fewer registrations should have been made in the outer days and weeks. That said, and this is my speculation, it feels like EVGA has had to repurpose their manufacturing bandwidth/yields to more and more skus (e.g., silicon that would have gone for the 3897 gets repurposed for the 3898, etc. etc.), so folks that signed up for the Hybrids likely benefited from a de facto jumping of the line for that level of silicon (if you get my meaning). I do also wonder with respect to the Hydro Coppers whether EVGA is banking silicon for those units as the delay on the HCs seems to be about the design/manufacture of the cooling components and not the silicon....

We had a drop of the 3090 XC3 Ultra Hybrid on Wednesday (it moved 1:30:39) and then a straggler drop for that card yesterday (no reports back to indicate how much movement occurred yesterday). But the other three Hybrids are still in the middle of their queue launch congestion period, so their movement -- even for a sizable drop -- will be measured in minutes, not tens of minutes. I do think the 3090 XC3 Ultra Hybrid was the least desirable of the four, so it doesn't surprise me that there may have been fewer registrations for that card...allowing the queue to move faster....

Hitch_Itch ...you cannot buy any current model Gpu from Nvidia or AMD but somehow and for some reason 20 series cards keep coming in stock. Why are they still making 20 series cards? If the 20 series cards are sold out then back in stock that would mean someone is still manufacturing them somewhere but why? I dont believe its just a shortage of chips for both Nvidia and AMD, there must be something the public is not aware of.
This actually does make some sense as I understand it based on various articles on the topic. The biggest driver of the shortage for 30 series cards is that there is only one site that can create the 7nm parts central to their tech. The 20 series cards are based on older technology that may be more widely accessible. That said, I do find it insulting and frustrating just how expensive those 20 series cards are now when they appear. Yesterday I saw a 1660 ti for over $500 on Newegg or Amazon. Insanity.

Supply/demand, there is no supply (not much of one anyway) and HUGE demand, thus 20 series continues to be super expensive

Friday. A day of mixed blessings...the end of the work week for me but a day, historically, without material drops. And as I face another weekend without a complete rig, I turn my gaming eyes -- again -- to 45 fps Rocket League for my gameplay distraction. I love the game (and still suck at the game), but it plays "acceptably well" on my old Alienware gaming laptop. Where, oh where, is the EVGA gpu with my name on it? I didn't ask for custom engraving...just a card. It sounds so simple. Where could it possibly be? Hopefully in a shipping container with lots of its friends from the same silicon nursery.... Hopefully they are enjoying the bright skies and fresh breezes of Los Angeles Harbor just now as they are in the process of being offloaded for the short trip to EVGA's (apparently empty) warehouses...a gamer can dream, right? While I try desperately to wake from Tech Launch Nightmare 2020-2021 (™ and © NVIDIA Corporation 2020-2023), as of 8:30 am PT Friday morning, January 15, this is the status of the North American queues (bolded font represents movement from the morning of Thursday, January 14; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of movement): Card SKU Auto-Notify Date/Time Ultra 3090 FTW3 Ultra 3987 10/08/2020 07:30:00 (09:52:34)* 3090 XC3 Ultra 3975 10/05/2020 20:52:00 3080 FTW3 Ultra 3897 09/18/2020 17:03:58 (01:27:26) 3080 XC3 Ultra 3885 09/18/2020 08:26:34 3070 FTW3 Ultra 3767 10/29/2020 06:27:28 (00:01:51) 3070 XC3 Ultra 3755 10/29/2020 12:07:26 (01:57:19) 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra 3667 12/01/2020 06:59:37 (00:00:18)

On balance, even without other supporting reports, I find it credible. May your remaining wait be shorter than you anticipate; it is already longer than you deserve. Best of luck today!

Have I missed any news about the hydro copper cards? Decided to go for a custom loop build recently so now I’m on the look out since it would be much cheaper than buying the hybrid I’m already queued for and then buying a block for it.

I've been a rabid refresher with Amazon and Best Buy for the 3080 FTW3 Ultras. I have yet to see it in stock at either since I started looking around 6 weeks ago. I have a feeling Best Buy will up their prices to the current MSRP as they have done with the XC3's but have a small hope there's a mistake when/if they ever come back in stock. Either way, holding on to my extremely distant queue position but not holding my breath. I will inevitably have to pay the tariff-imbued prices if I want to get my hands on one. Still hoping more of you get your cards, today included, and for the weeks to come. You've been waiting far longer than I have.

Jacob tweeted earlier in the week that we are (at least) "several weeks away." (I added the parenthetical). It remains delayed.

Still hoping more of you get your cards, today included, and for the weeks to come. You've been waiting far longer than I have.
Have not seen an active "add to cart" since launch, have never seen any retailer that had any in stock even briefly. Unlucky, and have a job where I cannot have my phone out at all while working. 4 Frickin months, never seen stock. To me the 30 series is just a myth.

I've seen add to cart on the 3080 XC3 ONCE on Best Buy's site, but I'm picky and have a 1080 Strix that's working fine and really want the FTW3. I've also seen the Nvidia FE's available on Best Buy, but for the same reasons I skipped. I want to get myself into EVGA's ecosystem. Been a long time fan of the customer service (albeit a few slip ups) and I always recommend them. Plus the FTW3 is a really nice looking card. Might get a vertical mount for it if I ever get one. Like I said, I'm not holding my breath. By the time I come up in the queue, the 4xxx series will be announced haha. Either way, my 1080 is doing pretty decently for 1440p gaming. I'm just ready for an RTX card and sizeable upgrade.

I'm just amazed that Nvidia rolled this out the way they did. A company like that had to know the demand going into launch, they have marketing/analytical departments specifically designed to do market research to gauge this stuff FFS. I know there is the COVID issue, but still. There was a huge lack of foresight on the demand or just a desperate need to bring in some sort of consistent revenue for this line of cards starting in September even though they knew their supply was going to be limited.
