Not this week...but it sounds like FTW3U Hybrids will drop next week...but Jacob wasn't specific as to 3080s, 3090s or both (here's to hoping for the latter).

Any idea if the high power BIOS will be on by default with the Hybrid cards?
Definitely not. It's still a beta bios, they will not put that bios on the cards until the issues with it on the 3090 especially are fixed.

So from what I'm seeing on Twitter, no new 3080 ultra hybrids this week (direct reply from Jacob about any this week), 3090 Kingpin & hybrid are both "likely next week" - so rip for anyone waiting on those hoping for this week. Guess I get to let the eVGA bucks pile up for the Kingpin buy eh? Lol
Looks like the hope is thick drops, at least for the high end cards, is not happening, at least not til next week.

On my 3080 FTW3 Ultra I had no issues with the beta bios personally, but on the 3090 FTW3 Hybrid (and if you visit the bios thread, almost all 3090 FTW3s) cannot actually hit the 500W power limit 99%of the time because of apparent issues with the amount of power allowed for the vRAM being exceeded according to the bios, among other things, which results in people seeing & experiencing "power limit" despite only hitting 450-460W.

Ugh. Couldn't get any 3080s added to my cart during the Best Buy drop. I did manage to get a 3090 XC3 Ultra all the way to checkout, but I couldn't justify spending $1700+ (after taxes), so I didn't pull the trigger. Back to random F5'ing and watching the queue.

I'm waiting for the 3080ti at this point, FTW3 are just not happening anytime soon.

Doesn't matter, should have been moving by now but as usual we barely see any progress/moving as per tradition. What a surprise, didn't see that coming... That's why I'm not counting on my 3080 FTW3 anymore, even though I registered on Sept 22nd morning: a lot of people were laughing at me or telling me that I exaggerated when I said that the 40xx series would be out and they would still not be done finishing the orders of people still waiting for 3080s. We are almost 4 months after release and we moved barely 1 day in the queue for the 3080s FTW3. I'm starting to make a lot more sense now huh? And it will still be the same 1-2-6 months from here, you'll see. Personally I stopped believing in fairy tales stories and hopes that all of a sudden it will magically ramp up and we will all get our cards soon: we won't. That's a fact, stop telling yourself lies and stories. At this point my only other chance is to wait for the TIs to come out and queue asap when they are announced here on the site, on the very first day and first hour instead of waiting like an idiot for a FTW3 that will clearly not come this year because I queued 4 days after release... And for people that queued even later than me like a week or too after or in November/December: do not even expect to receive a card at all in 2021 for sure. Or keep dreaming that's your choice.

It'll happen man, but at this point all you can do is wait or hope to snipe a card when they drop on New Egg, Best Buy, etc. There are also a couple of key factors in play: 1) a global supply crunch happening due to a pandemic and 2) Bots and Crypto-miners buying up stock like never before, so while either of these not happening wouldn't have stopped back-orders all together, they're definitely some extenuating circumstances at play here. I signed up on 9/18 and I'm still waiting for my number to come up just like you. It'll happen... eventually.

Oh no I know it will happen eventually. But I'm not waiting for it anymore because it won't anytime soon in 2021 for people that queued for more than 1 week after release at this rate, that I'm sure of it. I only queued 4 days after releases and I'm waiting to queue instead for the TI now when it comes out, my FTW3 is not coming this year or maybe 4th quarter of 2021 if I'm lucky. For sniping unfortunately I do not have time to check websites constantly anymore for cards and quite frankly it's a waste of time considering that scalpers are ruining the whole market now for cards, consoles and such. I seriously hope that one day Karma will double drop kick them behind the head like the cockroaches they are for that. I even reached the point now where I'm wondering (for the consoles and to some extend, for the cards of the future) if it will be even possible at all to get one of the new one in 2021 or if the scalpers will constantly buy stock to take full control of the market (or most of it).

Welp, I guess I get another week fiddling with this card at least then, which at least I have one to fiddle with.
