I tried to get a card from best buy today and saw "add to cart" twice, followed by "please wait" with never another "add to cart". What a crappy checkout system.
I was able to add to cart....but then all the BB near me kept kicking back that it wasn't available when I clicked check-out. Even though it let me switch between all the surrounding stores, until finally "Not available within 250 miles". Oh Well....back to the queue with all the other peasants.
Yup. Same damn experience. :|

Yep...I'm not going anywhere, until I have my PC build done and running, and have a super positive K/D in CoD and people start paying me to play for them. That's what the 3070 will let me do....right? Right guys?!

Congratulations! With Asus hikedprice on everything, I think MSI, Gigabyte will soon follow.
I heard that Gigabyte raised prices yesterday (I haven't checked it because I am a ride or die for EVGA, but it wouldn't surprise me).
MSI will do it soon. With Chinese new year coming up next month and global parts shortages, we probably won't these cards until April or May.

The more I think about it, I've reached the conclusion that this morning at the EVGA warehouses has been about clearing out the non-30 series orders that came in over the two week dark period...they likely have had a variety of PSU and other product to ship out to folks who ordered between 12/23 and 12/5.
I anticipate that we will get the 3897 invite to purchase emails distributed between now and 3 pm PT today.

so I'm in a conundrum got the Nvidia 3090 in a cart on Best Buy but I'm waiting for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra
dont know what to do lol
Even in cart they may not allow you to buy it.
The needs to be allocated to a store within 250 miles of you.
yeah, it's 5 miles away and will be available 1/9, but i think I'm gonna just let it go
My last 6 from BB were No Store in Range can not buy. A 3090 would be over kill for me as well, was tempted but was able to talk myself down, so far :)

So from what I'm seeing on Twitter, no new 3080 ultra hybrids this week (direct reply from Jacob about any this week), 3090 Kingpin & hybrid are both "likely next week" - so rip for anyone waiting on those hoping for this week. Guess I get to let the eVGA bucks pile up for the Kingpin buy eh? Lol Looks like the hope is thick drops, at least for the high end cards, is not happening, at least not til next week. Edited: seeing not saying, sorry I'm on mobile.

aw damn. that's the queue I have the best chance at. welp, more waiting for me I suppose...
My closest as well, expected at this point. Maybe I can luck out and get in early on a Ti or Super queue, as that seems to be the best way to get a card now.

I'm glad I didn't think there would be some massive drop. I figured there'd be no cards piling up in the warehouse.
Now with the price hikes and a 3080ti probably being over the rumored 1200 dollars.
And another card to push back my current queues even more. 👌

seems to me all EVGA FTW3 ULTRA GAMING 24G-P5-3987-KR are being sent to Amazon "preorder" list. But every time you try to check out it doesn't get added to your cart
