Funny how now that the 3070 is out (granted, hard to get still, but not as bad as the others), 2070s & 2080s are disappearing completely from sales sites like this one.
I think that's a mix of not wanting people buying those instead of the 3070, not wanting more people in Step Up queue, and perhaps supply as well, but who knows.
Two days ago the 2070 Super & 2080 Super were still available, now they gone gone.

alright, wee hot-take, but from what i've seen, this iteration of FTW3 isn't really as big of a leap as the previous ones, am i wrong? like, if you were to be able to snag ANY 3080, you won't see much of a difference between the models. At least that's the narrative i'm seeing on the interwebs.

Is it true? Two individuals told me at the Microcenter and at BestBuy when I asked them - When will they have the 3080 in stock? They simply replied you will have better luck trying on a 3rd party site because (something with China temporarily stopped making GPUs) that's why we're not seeing them in-stock and supposedly we won't until the start of 2021?...
I do know I've been waiting in the queue for almost 2 months, which would have been even longer, I misunderstood the queue list and took myself off my previously after the failed EVGA site not allowing us to get the GPU on the countdown.

your right more preference than anything.want the TI version for the vram but if its to late in the game may hold out for the 4000 series.

i don't know about China, but the queue is definitely moving. Slow as a dead turtle, but moving nonetheless. We'll see tomorrow, and hopefully we'll get a big drop!

The cooling on the TUF Asus cards & eVGA FTW3 Ultra are the two better ones, especially for the VRM/vRAM, compared to the others, and they thusly clock a bit better, but the difference between models is smaller because these cards are already so close to the limit with the imposed restrictions NVidia put on them which require mods like the Kingpin card comes with to overcome. The rest of them are near their voltage limit & power limit right out of the box. Modded BIOS or physically modding the card (or having a Kingpin card) will net you a lot more gains, but that's also voided warranty technically speaking in all but the Kingpin case. exilelrrp

According to scuttlebutt, Supply will normalize after March of 2021, if you believe the news the Ti will be out by then, we'll see if that actually happens, NVidia has never refreshed a GPU line this quickly, and I don't expect that to change, but who knows.

I'm just twiddling my thumbs waiting for the 3080 Hybrids to be notify queue enabled now... sold my 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid officially for $400 to someone that really wanted it, so I recouped half my 3080 cost out of my old video card, not bad at all :-P

 thanks for sharing. I just happened to check on my status tonight and I'm sooo close in line for the 3070 XC3 Black at 10/29/2020 6:10:26 AM PT. Hopefully that will happen this week! /edit - also in case anyone at EVGA sees this, I just want to give a big shout out for this queue system. This is exactly the kind of thing that all retailers and AIBs should be doing. I mean, it's 2020 and we're in the middle of a pandemic and most sites don't even have basic bot protection which is just shameful. I don't mind waiting in line for something as long as it's fair.

Um, if i remember you get 3 cards per waffer, maybe 4, then it takes 4-8 hours till its at verification (people testing). Watched a video of steve from nexus for msi and its about the same for the rest. But depends on what 3080 you mean, for evga the Ultra about out of 3 cards usually 1 will pass verification to be a ultra rest will be lower due to pbc quality and capacator quality. i dont feel like spell checking lots of nyquil sorry. So the lower standard your card the faster you will get it because more will be verified for those quality levels. to put it simply and in laymans terms EDIT- EVGA are now producing higher end AIO water cooled cards, so there will be less Ultra for a while then usual per day. Cause those will go to there watercool line. Which looks awesome. I can fit one in my lian li 150 mini itx/btx but not a clue when there for q

Um, if i remember you get 3 cards per waffer, maybe 4, then it takes 4-8 hours till its at verification (people testing). Watched a video of steve from nexus for msi and its about the same for the rest. Thanks for the answer mate, I am signed for FTW3 Ultra 3080, I think that card takes sometime as per what you said, I hope I can put an order before CP2077 comes, I already have no card in my system - sold my 2080 Ti last june - and since then I am waiting patiently :/ *fingers crossed so hard*

crazy how the 3080 ftw ultra has not moved. and im on the 18th i just want it to get passed the first day. so i can feel like im close to it!! lol but ive been reding this forum everyday.
