There is a strong likelihood they will bog down again around 10/5 - 10/6 and the announcement of the queue procedure, but having been here from the beginning...I am beginning to feel a small degree of momentum on some of these queues (3080 and 3090 Gaming and Black queues excluded  ).

Parts of this process are bonkers (it's a technical term  ). I originally wanted a 3080 Gaming and had to adjust. There are parts of the queue that have disproportionately helped some (the Ultra registrants) and left others behind...at least temporarily (3080/3090 Gaming and Gaming Blacks, European enthusiasts). But EVGA is trying; I really do believe that. And, as I have said before, the queue is the worst system for buying 30 series cards except for all of the others. We enthusiasts are working with what we've got. And I remain so thankful to EVGA for giving a darn and trying to improve our circumstances.

It should have been made extremely clear from the beginning that with this kind of demand: - You wait until the card you REALLY want comes up and pass on the others. or - You get sent to the "back of the line" for the rest of your notifications after you buy a card.

That is a good point. Maybe a maximum of 2 units per shipping address or [other metric], regardless of sku. That would allow folks who just need a card the ability to get the first one that comes up and then wait for their "forever card."

Huh, I am not here alone. People should not be allowed to by multiply cards while this drought is not over. It is fine to list all possible models and SKUs, but after first card is ORDERED, list should be deleted for that user. Wonder why that rule is not implemented. Leave it to one card per series, before going to the back of the line. For example, my younger brother is relying on me for a 3070. If that comes out first, you are telling me I should suffer and go to the back of the line? I am ok with that I am in the back for the 3070 but not every other card.
