I am feeling the length of our wait weighing on me too. But I continue to believe that we will get our desired card through the queue as so many of our other community members have already done through this process. Had two BB orders canceled on me!!! NewEgg last week too. One for FE other XC3 Ultra today. ****.. 9/17 @10pm on waiting list seems like I will be waiting months still for FTW3 Ultra, this just cannot come soon enough. I will be devastated if I do not have a card by Dec 10th. :(

Congratulations to everyone who managed to get one on Best Buy. It looks like the actually implemented some kind of anti-bot measures.
Unfortunately, I was not one of the lucky ones. Got it in my cart, went to checkout, then had nothing but problems with shipping. *sigh* So close, and yet, so far.
Same problem i had... my smile went upside down real quick... :(

Someone seriously said there's no supply issue according to NVidia LUL show me a reliable source please. Very sure NVidia has said there IS a supply issue and that it will last well in to 2021 (like at least March) and that it is partly because of the Rona.
All these people having issues with their newer 3080s that shipped in the last few weeks has me rethinking being so quick to resell mine before getting a Hybrid card when they release. Think I may hang on to it until such time as I have the 3080 Hybrid card in hand & can test it for at least 2 weeks... better safe than sorry. I've had zero issues with my 3080 FTW3 Ultra I currently have & I'd hate to unload it for a card that ends up dying within hours of arriving.

Good luck with AMD cards mate, they're gonna get scooped by bots just the same, very very likely, those are scalpers-paradise in terms of resale value because the 6900XT is such a great value overall from the looks of it. I'd get one if they weren't guaranteed to be gone the second they come in stock. My BB order still shows as 'getting it ready'

Thank you very much for posting that. The RNG gods were kind and I was able to snag an EVGA 3080 XC3 Ultra after 2 attempts at a FTW Ultra and a PNY fell through. I'll be removing my notifies to help shorten the queue.
This is going to be a huge step up from my Radeon R9 270x.

Of course he's going to say that, he doesn't want to admit they did not have sufficient production quantity on launch. It's literally not possible that it's not a supply issue at this point, the card has been out for nearly 2 months, scalpers are getting them by the thousands probably, and somehow there's still more demand than supply, 2 months after launch, that says plainly & simply, it's a supply issue. He can say it's not all he likes, the numbers say otherwise, when you have E-tailers reporting only getting a few hundred units per shipment meanwhile they have thousands of orders pending... that's supply. Either way, good luck to those still waiting, hopefully this "demand" issue according to Jensen will resolve itself after the holidays :-P lol that's such a BS ridiculous statement I can't even... Anywhere power is dirt cheap (or free if you have solar) crypto is still quite profitable, as long as you're mining the "valuable" stuff of the month. I got in on that a little bit, in the way of I bought 2 R9 295x2s for QuadFire back in the day, at a good price at the time, then a few months later during the Crypto boom, I actually resold them both used, for a profit, because of mining making them so valuable :-D Made $1k per card, long after they were selling for about that retail, because they were out of stock everywhere thanks to mining buyers.

BB actually added the anti-bot measures a bit ago. Getting stock comes down to waiting here, getting alerts for BB site(I used stockdrops.net discord channel), and if you are lucky to have a Microcenter near by, randomly popping in there to see if they have any.

For $1599... from a 3rd party seller...
Why did they even bother? LOL
Also: It sold - why are people paying these ridiculous prices, eVGA ain't gonna warranty that as if it's actually new, they'll be lucky if they're only the second buyer & get the warranty that comes with that.

Ugh so I got it in my cart at BB and then when I tried to check out they informed me that the product is "not sold through the app" and I need to go "to a store" to purchase. I know it was an error but I said a few choice words.
No 3080 FTW3 drop this week is the opposite of the news I wanted.

I got hit with Notifications from Amazon and NewEgg last night, but they were selling partners at higher than he Ebay current market price scalp, hopefully the tide is starting to turn. I was able to determine I am probably waiting until Jan 1st in the ftw3 Ultra line just from reading all this, and for that, I thank you.
