I've been lurking while at work and checking the spreadsheets periodically, had to do next day shipping for it cause I leave for my sister's wedding this friday and I don't want to take any chances.
That is a perfectly valid rationalization.  Hopefully you used the code of one of the associates that participates in this thread to get that 5% discount to help defray the cost of the next day shipping. Enjoy your card (and your sister's wedding)! Congratulations on all fronts!!!

My auto-notify sign-up for the card I want is still weeks away, but yes, I have had those feelings too. One thing I did that gave me comfort was I signed up for an auto-notify of another item that I thought was currently out of stock that would likely come back into stock before the card (I used the XR1, but maybe there is a PSU that is currently out of stock that you could use). It gave me comfort when I received the auto-notify email of the XR1 coming back into stock -- now I at least know that the EVGA email is unlikely to get caught in my spam folder (if you haven't yet made EVGA a contact in your gmail, please consider doing so).
