lrjfamily Wait. What is an "Associate"? I'm an Elite member. I have an Associate's Code. Does that mean I'm an "Associate"? And what benefits do I receive from being Elite other thhan 24hrs access to ordering/queueing new products and flashing around an Associate's Code?
When you create an associate code, you change your account so that you get rewards when other people buy from EVGA using your associate code instead of getting a discount as a non-associate when you buy from EVGA using someone else's associate code.

kram36 As for the extra parts you have to buy, if you don't need them, sell them. I would rather do that, then pay Amazon's inflated price and get nothing extra for the inflated price. Also when buying from Amazon, if the video card isn't sold and ship by Amazon itself, you don't get the extra benefits, like Step Up.
For me it's more about not supporting scalpers. I would rather pay a little bit more for some extras than give a cent to that skum.
I can see how passionate you are in your dislike of scalpers. But i don't think they are that big of a deal anymore, gpu's are becoming more available, and even the prices on ebay are coming down alot. But, really. The majority of scalpers are just like anyone else, they are just trying to earn as much money as they can to support their families.

kram36 If someone uses your Associate Code, they get a discount and you get a percentage of the sell. You don't have to be an Associate, you can opt out of it, but if you do opt out, you can not become an Associate again.
So by purchasing my family's hardware through a single account I am and have been screwing myself, is that it? I should create an account for each family member and then purchase through those accounts using my original account's Associate Code? Or, somehow, I can quit being an "Associate" and finally start getting the discounts I should have been getting all along just by using other Associate Codes? WTH?

Plus Newegg had a 3070 Ti for only $50 over EVGA's price. It's worth $50 to me not to have to buy components I don't need/want and go through the hassle of re-selling them (undoubtedly for less than what I paid).

Can't use the same address as yours to do something like that. It's easy to opt out of being an Associate, just remember you can not become an Associate again after leaving.

So not exactly 30 series related, but there's no queue threads in the other forums. I just got a notify for the 1660 Super I signed up for in June. The email had a link to the product page, but no direct purchase link. Do the other cards not give you the 24 hours to purchase the product with a direct link, and is it just that if you get the emails you need to log in ASAP and hopefully beat the bots to a card?

Prices are coming down but scalping is still very much a problem. EVGA cards listed on Amazon, as an example, are sold out in seconds and then listed again at much higher prices. B-Stock cards sell out in a minute, and BestBuy has the same problem with their Nvidia cards. Reddits hardwareswap had about 30-40 B-Stock cards listed in the last week. One person was selling 19 B-Stock cards (3070's and 3080's). That's one place and not even the new cards. I am not a fan of the "trying to support their families" argument. One could use the same argument for criminal enterprises. My problem with scalping is that it takes cards away from those who have the least to spend and funnels them to people who are happy to throw away money.

The queue is only for the 30 series cards. Auto Notify for other products is first come first served. Antonline currently has a 1660 SC Ultra Gaming in stock as of this post. https://www.antonline.com/Evga/Computers/Video_Cards/Graphic_Cards/1444447

Not bad with only a small markup over EVGA pricing. The question is: would a 1660 (non-Ti, non-Super) be worth $300 or more? Seems like EVGA has these priced a bit... high.

obviously your not a fan of my argument. except its not a crime. its a business, everyone does it, from your local computer store, to your major resellers. everybody buys something and tries to sell it at a profit. I'm assuming you dont like miners either. lets look at this. they want gpu's to earn a living, you want gpu's to play games. to me its a no brainer.

You can benefit either way, but you need to determine whether you will come out ahead in the long run by purchasing with the discount you get from an Associate Code or whether you can earn more credit via EVGA Bucks as an Associate. The answer will be different for everyone. Right now, the discount for VGA using an Associate Code is 3%, and the rewards for Associates is 3%. If a product is $1,000, it means, roughly, that you're saving $30 off the graphics card. If you're an Associate and someone uses your code, it means you'll earn roughly $30 back on the purchase in EVGA Bucks, which you can use to pay for products on the EVGA store, including graphics cards. The question is more about the immediate discount or long-term accumulation of store credit. If you're the type of person who only wants to jump on EVGA.com to buy something every now and then, and you don't want to deal with having other people use your Associates Code (and that's OK!), then you might save more as a non-Associate using someone else's code. If you have friends, family, and co-workers who you know will buy stuff from EVGA.com, then you can earn more in EVGA Bucks as an Associate than you would through a simple discount. Maybe that 3% helps out now to buy the card you want, but if you can earn a steady amount of EVGA Bucks over the next year or two via your Associates code, your next card might be a lot cheaper or basically just the price of taxes and shipping.

IMHO, the 3050 is a better deal because you get DLSS and and RT for only $80 more (antonline pricing) and a faster card. Still have to deal with the extra PSU, though.

I'm still using my "temporary" MSI Ventus 1660 Super 6GB GDDR6, I purchased from Micro Center back in August of 2020 and the retail price I paid then was $239.00. I know since September of 2020 everything has changed and the entire market got flipped upside down, but that was the price I paid for a 1660 Super back August of 2020 if this helps.

You can look at enewt's list here. He posts up twice a day M-F. https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3531011I'm still not sure which card you're referring to unless you have a SKU number, but it looks like the last fulfilled queues for these three below are nearing mid December 2020. You most likely have a little bit of time to wait. I went back to the beginning of the year on Jan 3rd to see where your 3060 queue was and sadly it was only at 12/07/2020 16:36:36. So it hasn't moved much at all. Keep your fingers crossed that they speed up the process, but at least knowing is half the battle. Good luck on the queue.

Hello! If it helps: US 12G-P5-4877-KL 1/11/2022 6:53:50 AM PT Yes True I had an EVGA score of 0 with an 850W SuperNova power supply and a 3060ti XC bought from Amazon registered. I also bought another 3060ti XC from EVGA's que last November which I gave to a friend. Thank you to everyone who spends their time trying to help people in these threads. You are most appreciated!

Well I don't feel too bad that I removed that card from my queue as mine was a little over a month later than your date. Yeah, congrats!
