I’m thinking the same thing , if they really plan on still releasing the 3090ti so late , maybe it’s an indication that the 40 series will be delayed?

I couldn't find this answered. I got my notification for a 3050 purchase. I recently found a used 1080ti which can hold me over until I can afford or get a queue notice for a better card than the 3050. If I let the 3050 notice expire will this be a big benefit to me or should I just buy the 3050 for my buddy who needs a newer card? Thanks!

If the 3050 is the first card you will have purchased from the 30 series queues, then purchasing it will deprioritize you for subsequent purchases via the queues. If you have not already purchased a card from the queues, I would hold off. If you’ve already purchased from the queues, then the additional 3050 purchase shouldn’t negatively impact you.

Thanks for reporting! That card (3090 FTW3 Ultra) is getting pretty close to the sign-up cutoff date (September 27, 2021). Or "finishing the queue". Not really a surprise given how fast it moved in signup time, but good news nonetheless. It is 4 signup days away from being the first SKU to cross a whole year of signups (September 24, 2020 to September 20, 2021 so far).

Graymatter99 Does anyone know if a DIY 3 series purchase counts against you with the queues or is it only a 3 series queue purchase that counts against you?
Just a purchase from the 30 series queues count.
Not sure that is correct. Queue 3.0 says "Customers who have purchased a 30 Series product from EVGA.com will be deprioritized in the VGA queue, and will become eligible to purchase their VGA notify product(s) after others in their tier purchase a 30 Series product."
Previous posts in the Queue 3.0 thread by EVGA personnel have clarified that b stock and other purchases from the EVGA websites don’t count for the question of whether you have previously purchased a 30 series card from the 30 series queues.
The key here is whether the card in question is a retail suffix 30 Series card (e.g. -KR or -KL) purchased on EVGA.com. B-stock will not count towards a 30 Series purchase with regards to the Queue 3.0, nor will a product from other categories (such as a motherboard), but a standard warranty 30 Series card purchased from DIY will count towards a 30 Series purchase. If I or another EVGA rep made conflicting or contradictory statements previously, please let me know and link me, so I can correct if necessary.

Interesting. Thanks for the clarification. I don’t think folks with looking at the DIY tool back in early January, so the confusion was likely mine…. I am at a work conference this week, but will go back through the Queue 3.0 thread this weekend and let you know if I see anything that contradicts your post today. Again, thanks for the clarification and my apologies for any confusion on my part.

it seems to me like it shouldnt count towards it, because in the diy your forced to buy a couple of hundred dollars of others items to get the card.

I can confirm that you don't need a $200 PSU to run a 3070 ti. I had one in my system running off an EVGA 850w Bronze that I paid like 60 bucks for B-stock and it was overkill. You can buy cards straight up off fleabay or stockx for the price of the bundle, maybe less by now with prices dropping.

Unfortunately all of the queues are currently locked and there is not currently a way to sign up for a queue. EVGA may reopen queue registration once the existing registrants have received invites to purchase from the queue…but nobody knows for sure. avacdavison I got my 3080 12GB notify. I'm an Elite member. Can't I use my own Associates Code? Shouldn't it apply automatically? The only thing I'm missing is a 30-series GPU. If I'd have known I could have done a kit I'd not have purchased the EVGA keyboard, mouse, cooler, power supply, etc. over these past months (years?). If I start adding things I may as well pay Amazon's/Newegg's inflated price.

Associates cannot use associate codes — theirs or another’s.

If you are an Associate, you can not use anyone's Associate Code. As for the extra parts you have to buy, if you don't need them, sell them. I would rather do that, then pay Amazon's inflated price and get nothing extra for the inflated price. Also when buying from Amazon, if the video card isn't sold and ship by Amazon itself, you don't get the extra benefits, like Step Up.

For me it's more about not supporting scalpers. I would rather pay a little bit more for some extras than give a cent to that skum.

Wait. What is an "Associate"? I'm an Elite member. I have an Associate's Code. Does that mean I'm an "Associate"? And what benefits do I receive from being Elite other thhan 24hrs access to ordering/queueing new products and flashing around an Associate's Code? Let's see if this works:
Primary Gaming: EVGA X58 SLI (132-BL-E758-A1) Core i7-920 OC'd @ 3.561Ghz 24GB Triple-Channel RAM EVGA GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0

If you have a code, you are an Elite member AND an associate. You can be Elite without being an Associate, but not vice versa.
