Flint 1760 I wouldn't bet too heavily on six months or less. Mining is just a part of the equation, a 25% part at best. There are a lot of other cryptocurrencies that are being mined with GPUs after Ethereum joins Bitcoin in the ASIC world. You still have chip and component shortages as well as logistic problems. Intel's entry into the discrete GPU market will help. I think availability is still going to be an issue for several quarters. It might be much better by Q4 2022. This is baring any geopolitical issues.

I blame the automobile companies. lol. My next vehicle will be an Indian Scout, with an analog spedo and tach. Main chip in it will be the ECU.

I think it will be less than that.
Yes new auctions are at break even on 3080s and less than break even on 3080 Ti ...
Great news, but now who wants these abused and most likely, out of warranty 3xxx cards? They're going to have to be at a steep discount.

If 30 series cards were released in Sept of 2020 and they come with a 3 year warranty from EVGA either from date of purchase or manufacture, how would any 30 series cards be out of warranty besides B-stock? Also with the reference to "abused" cards, I assume you're talking about people mining with their GPUs? However people that have a few who are mining actually take care of their cards better than normal gamers tbh. These are people that undervolt, replace thermal pads/paste every x months, etc while the average gamer would just play CP2077 with their GPUs hitting 80+ while t-junction temps are in the 100+ range and not have a care in the world.

Regardless of how you feel about used cards, one would also hope that lower prices on used cards would also mean lower prices on scalped cards, leading to a decline in the number of scalpers. I think most of us would agree that would be a good thing :)

I don't think it will take six months. At the rate we're going with the crypto crash and the slowing economy, GPU's will IMO be widely available by March. (Unless China shuts down and/or there is a widespread war).

At present all queues are closed and we don't know when they will reopen. However, on 27 January NVIDIA is supposed to release the 3050, the time we don't know yet. It will be under queue 3.0. The first 24 hours after release are for elite members and on the 28th anyone can try to get in the queue. Pay attention to EVGA and the forums to find the release time. Here is information on queue 3.0 https://www.evga.com/support/queue3/.

I've got a question. I have two items in the queue. which one should i delete to make room for the 3050? 1. 10G-P5-3885-KL9/24/2020 10:52:27 AM PT im 3 days out on this one and it hasn't been moving much at all. I'm thinking this is the one i should delete from queue. (even tho this is the one i perfer, its seems to far off) 2. 12G-P5-4877-KL1/11/2022 6:44:42 AM PT not sure how quickly this one will move, but i'm thinking way better chance than the 3885. the reason im thinking of deleting one is so i can try for the 3050 on thursday any thoughts? also i just noticed this disclaimer at the top of notifies page **PLEASE NOTE** As of October 11th, 2021. EVGA allows only two active 30 Series product notifications. If more than two 30 Series product notifications existed prior to 10/11/2021, the notification system will only recognize the two oldest product notifications based on the date/time requested, as indicated with an Active status. It is no longer possible to change or delete notifies. EVGA Staff does not have the ability to change notify products. Does this mean i'm unable to delete one of the items to make room for the 3050 coming on thursday?

I hooked my kingpin up this weekend to a 120 hz 4k tv and using dlss "balanced" with ray tracing on was getting around 100-120 fps. most settings on ultra or high. Absolutely gorgeuos but before cranked the fans up the gpu was near 70 which was about as high as the thing gets even in the most demanding situations. Temps dropped down a bit once i cranked the fans but the gpu was sucking an insane amount of power trying to do what i wanted it too. I gotta say I was impressed. Have never seen anything so beautiful and it makes me all the happier that I sprung for the card.

I was thinking that you could have two queue 3.0 and 2 queue 2.0 registrations acitve at the same time, but i very well could be out of the loop. haven't looked into to hard since i have no queue 2.0 spots active.

Not all warranties are transferrable so buying from ebay or other means like your local classifieds is always a risk. Failures of 30 series gpus have been documented for a number of reason and along with the design of some of the cards/components more than likely have pushed some gpus to their limits. By purchasing from 3rd party individuals you take a risk the repair for a failed unit might not be covered by the manufacturer. The below was taken from EVGA's warranty page: EVGA Corporation ("EVGA") warrants that the Product (defined below) delivered hereunder to the original purchaser ("Original Purchaser") from EVGA.com or an EVGA Authorized Reseller (each an "Authorized Reseller") will be free from material and workmanship defects that adversely affect the performance of the Product under normal use, pursuant to the terms outlined below. This Limited Warranty is only valid for the Original Purchaser, is non-transferable and does not extend to any used Products or Products not purchased from EVGA.com or an Authorized Reseller. So buying from a reseller/scalper or even another user does not automatically mean that EVGA would be obligated to cover repairs of failures. Although it seems like EVGA has been doing it, it is not for sure and should be taken into consideration when purchasing a gpu. In this market though, many users have very limited choices and are faced with making this tough decision. But there are risks involved so be sure to understand what those risks may be.

You conveniently stopped quoting the website as it was getting good. "A separate Transferable Limited Warranty is available for Second-Hand Purchasers, which also extends to used Products and Products not purchased from EVGA.com or an Authorized Reseller, as noted below. Transferable Limited Warranty (Second-Hand Purchasers)Subject to the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty, the Transferable Limited Warranty is available to second-hand purchasers with a valid proof of purchase of the transaction between the current owner and the previous owner.* A second-hand purchaser is defined as someone who purchases an EVGA product from an unauthorized reseller. The limited warranty on any Product which was originally shipped from EVGA or an Authorized Reseller as a demo or prize is not transferable to second-hand purchasers and is not covered by the Transferable Limited Warranty. Products shipped from EVGA as warranty replacements will be subject to this Transferable Limited Warranty, provided that the original Product was shipped from EVGA on or after July 1, 2011 and has a qualifying Transferable Limited Warranty suffix. Warranty replacements retain the limited warranty characteristics of the original Product, which will be used to determine the original purchase date and/or ship date. The length of the Transferable Limited Warranty is determined by Product according to the suffix associated with each Product's identification number as set forth below and will be measured beginning from the Product's original date of shipment from an EVGA online store, EVGA's official eBay store, or EVGA's official Amazon Marketplace store: - 3 Year Transferable Limited Warranty Product Suffixes: -A1, -A2, -A3, -A4, -AR, -AX, -CR, -CX, -DX, -FR, -FX, -SG, -SX, -KR, -K1, -K2, -K3, -K4, -K5, -KB, -KA, -KF, -KH, -KL, -KM

If more than two 30 Series product notifications existed prior to 10/11/2021, the notification system will only recognize the two oldest product notifications based on the date/time requested, as indicated with an Active status. It is no longer possible to change or delete notifies. EVGA Staff does not have the ability to change notify products. Does this mean i'm unable to delete one of the items to make room for another gpu i want?
I was thinking that you could have two queue 3.0 and 2 queue 2.0 registrations acitve at the same time, but i very well could be out of the loop. haven't looked into to hard since i have no queue 2.0 spots active.
im pretty sure you can only have two active total

New 3050 card and Queue 3.0 closed ?

OK so with the new 3050 card coming in the 27th Jan. I don't even have a queue 3.0 to select the card and queue 3.0 is closed So what were just S.O.L. ? That really not very nice to do long time loyal EVGA customers. I realize there are 10s of thousands of folks that want cards and that's ok but we all should be in the 3.0 queue even if its just a feel good queue at least would be in it....

Signed up for 3663-KL on December 1, 2020 which has a most recent notification of 02/02/2021 01:31:32... Still no notification for me. Are there different priority levels within the queue beyond registration date?

philipma1957 still waiting for the 3090 hybrid xc3
What is your timestamp? I have 2/16/2021 10:33:19 PM PT
2/1/2021 0:730 or 0:731 AM PT that would end my queue 2.0 The only card I would do on queue 3.0 will be the 3090ti kingpin hybrid.

kraade Hope we are turning the curve , SO many cards on Ebay with 0 bids makes me grin, the first indicator that things might be getting back to Normal. May the Peleton problem roll over into video cards.
And the value of BTC is going down further. I hope it keeps going down and 5+ months from now - it'll be littered with used GPUs. Ridiculous to see a 1070 asking for $450 CAN.
