I snagged the same one a little bit back, put in for Step Up to the 3060 ti option as it was the only one that would fit well in my H1 case...got my email incredibly quickly, and already have the 3060ti in my rig running. Just a heads up if you were looking to upgrade, I assume everyone else is going for 3070/3080+ options.
Wait, so if I'm in queue for RTX 3080, and will ask to swap my line for RTX 3080ti, I might get it quicker?
There is possibility to swap the cards and keep the same line for the faster process?
No, step up is 'I want to upgrade the card I already have' and there are limited options. You have to sign up in the first 90 days of successfully ordering your card, and wait. So say you snag a 3060 XC but you WANTED a 3070 or 3080 ti, you put in for Step Up which puts you in ANOTHER que. One day in the far flung future (usually) you get an email that your day has come! For 3070/3080/3090 apparently that 'day' is like a year out. But, for 3060 ti apparently enough people ditched their que on that sku in favor of 'better' cards that the step ups/orders are really ramping along when they actually pump out that sku.

I was shocked, I lucked out on their production cycle I think as the queue for the same 3060ti was moving HELLA fast right after I entered step up so they must have just made a bunch. It's pretty much perfect for this build, I don't think the H1 can handle much more heat than the 250w this thing chugs under load without adding fans/modding... I actually ordered an aftermarket slotted front panel to replace the TG to lessen the heat a bit. I don't generally buy extended warranties but this is a $500+ card so might be worth it.

T_T I bet EVGA does not have 980ti in stock. In this case they ship similar class but better card( 1080ti, 2080ti, what they have in stock). Another reason to purchase 10 years warranty if don't have plans to upgrade any time soon.

I just got the G9 Neo during black Friday with a $820 discount. Which came out to $1818.59 w/ tax. Now I wish I would get my purchase invite so I could finally build my new rig.

It depends on which card you are trying to step up to and when. Can you give us a bit more information than that?

Depends on when in June you hopped in the queue. I don't know for sure when they dropped, but i do know that I was like 2 hours off the initial drop for the 3969 and i finally got notified last week. You need to see when you entered the queue.

I desperately hope they'll let me CLEAR my queue before the 40 series comes out. I don't WANT any more 30 series (got my 3080ti already) but missed the window to update my queue because I wasn't following frequently since I received my card. grrr

Yeah, similar situation here. I wasn't fallowing the updates, Although I did not get a 30xx, my elite launch queue entries went inactive, which would have been otherwise filled by already, so I am stuck with notifies that I will probably never receive. Now, I do not care for the 30 series
