I agree. I haven't really looked around to much more after finding EVGAs Queues to see if there are any other system like it. It is definitly a really nice set up for the situation. Wait times might be long but it allows people who don't have the time to proactively hunt for a GPU to have an effective method of holding a place in line. I am pretty new to the computer world but already its obvious why EVGA has such a good reputation for customer service. Quality goes beyond the product itself when companys are invested in the customer as well.

At some point, demand for these cards will crest and fall, I would argue it already has. We see more and more queue spots being passed on, and as eBay sales/profits wane, I think that will lessen the "casual scalper" buying an extra card to flip. Only my personal take, I could be wrong. The bubble will burst, it's just a matter of when.

I got on the 3979 queue at 6:00:22 and am number 16-18 in line. I don't know why it changes between 16, 17, and 18, just depends on the day I guess. Anyways, the queue has only moved 9 seconds! I know it's an XC3, but give me a break. It's moved less than any other card besides the 3889 which is the 3080 variant of the same XC3 HC card. All I'm asking for is a measly 13 seconds, lol!

Personally, I wouldn't remove any queue spots unless you are 100% sure you do not want to buy them. It is not costing you anything (besides heartache) to keep a queue spot for a dead queue active. Good luck to you in your search.

The 3080 Tis have already fallen to the point where there is no profit in scalping anymore.

Yes, it was a system bug. They manually updated last weeks' past due bucks to available, and then Monday the ones that matured over the weekend also went to available. Something to keep an eye on for other associates here.

Yeah but eth has climbed back to 2700+ from the drop to 1800 so miners will still want the 3090's But once the other skews are all LHR the gamers should get some then. Unless some one cracks the LHR block. Hint a nvidia coder could do this pretty easily

Ultima II was my first game. I really enjoyed Ultima IV, but by then I had discovered sports and girls. Ultima II...I created Lego structures to put on the keyboard to depress the space bar to pass turns allowing the mobs to build up. Place structure, go swim for 45 minutes, come back, kill everything, rinse and repeat. Other good ones at the time: 1. Strategic Conquest (an ascii-based predecessor to SM's Civilization series). 2. 7 Cities of Gold (gosh I miss that game) 3. Wavy Navy (my first truly casual game) 4. Zork ("You are likely to be eaten by a Grue.") 5. Karateka (self-explanatory) and 6. Crisis Mountain (played this game via hot-seat with my brothers for 12 hours straight) 7. Boulder Dash 8. Zaxxon 9. Choplifter (Broderbund...oh how I miss thee) 10. Autoduel (Steve Jackson games...thank you for Car Wars) I could go on and on...Castle Wolfenstein, California Games (I beat the hell out of the keyboard in this game...would love for somebody to bring it back), Wasteland, SM's Pirates, SkyFox, Aztec (always crashed on me), The Oregon Trail, One on One (basketball)...swoon.

Maybe EVGA should roll over those of us that remain on the queues when the RTX 4000s launch in September 2022....
