I Put in my original Notify at 6am on 9/17 but for the (I'm guessing) reason, I was not registered at this time/ even though it said I was registered , it did not take. So I made an account on 9/23 and got the not notify to take I guess , then they announced in October , EVGA will use this Que system, I thought I my have to wait until Late November or December, Boy was I way off, lol , things are slowly normalizing though, Ebay prices are on the break even mark now and that has to change behaviors dramatically , I saw a couple Ti take a net loss today, Every GPU going out there makes this easier for all of us who are actual end users , BEST OF LUCK NEXT WEEK !

I had the same before, it was just some oily residue. I think it’s normal.

Well, made a final decision today. Screw this. They can have it, I am done with this nonsense. I am not gonna pay these ridiculous prices. It is not an end of the world and I will survive without GPU for another year. EVGA values retail/etail "partners" more than "Elite members". EVGA is not gonna bend over to satisfy own loyal customers in favor of more profitable venues like scalpers and miners. Dollar wins. Always. But I am gonna use money now as I want to. No allegiance to EVGA anymore. EVGA, you failed. And you lost me and 3 other customers who are my kids and who was waiting so long to upgrade their PCs. Keep going like this and you will loose more money. 6/30/2021 9:51:43 PM PTRemoved by User 6/23/2021 8:34:41 AM PTRemoved by User 6/23/2021 8:33:24 AM PTRemoved by User 6/16/2021 9:02:11 AM PTRemoved by User 6/16/2021 8:48:36 AM PTRemoved by User 12/31/2020 12:03:49 PM PTRemoved by User

They are probably talking about the queue. They just joined the forum an hour ago, so we can welcome them to the forums and encourage them to participate and ask questions.

I have a question. I purshased an evga RTX3080 FTW3 Ultra from an exlusive email link (queue based notification system on EVGA.EU) and EVGA shipped me the vga directly from Taiwan. Now I need to register my card for warranty in my european account and the serial number of my card is recognized but "Taiwan" is not an option for "Select Country Purchased" form. Which country do I choose? Germany? Thanks.

No, I'm in Italy but vga's registration form is about country purchased, not country where I live... Technically I would have queued up on the European EVGA site(based in Germany). Thanks :)

Too bad this person doesn’t realize, some of the scalpers, are the elite members, they speak of.

The in stock notifies for 3080ti from Amazon keep popping like crazy everyday. Newegg also has bunch of PCs with 3080 and 3080tis. If I needed a whole pc that is a no brainer affordable price for 3080 pc for 2300. Crisis is coming to end soon.

Has anyone noticed that the "community spreadsheet" in your signature is telling people that someone signed up for a 3080 FTW3 Ultra on January 22 and received their email for it on the same day?

Bye! On another note, 3080 Ti FTW3's have been steadily dropping on Amazon. A buddy of mine offered to help me get a card through his bots. I am about 4 minutes away from the current queue for that SKU, but it's been almost two months since launch and my email hasn't come up. I did get an email for the XC3 Gaming variant, but missed it because Paypal issues came up. I have emailed Rob but he said to email back in a week or two when there is stock and he can resend me an email. My question is should I go with the FTW3? Or would the XC3 perform about the same as the FTW3, albeit better cooling and power delivery?

Was just wondering why the queue position cannot be shown? Is it code issue? Retrieving the index of the entry in the queues for the different cards should not be that hard. Am I understanding the queue system wrong?

I think no one outside of EVGA has access to that information (including drop frequency and stock inventory numbers). The only thing everybody else has to go on are the trackers that are available online (enewt's and element35gaming) give you a rough estimate of where you are in the queue.

Yes, unfortunately some elements of that spreadsheet got away from themselves. There are indeed user errors, and the implementation of the predicted time of notification was a bad call (not mine, I will note). I started the spreadsheet as an attempt to help others in the community and to have some fun during the long waiting game. I did devote a lot of my time to editing and fixing errors in the spreadsheet. I also let others take charge of the sheets and they in turn proliferated those and overall the whole thing became something that I do not really support or wish to be a part of anymore. The situation does seem to be improving, and many people are indeed getting their cards. Thank you for reminding me to change my signature; these are some of the things we forget to update around here (especially if we're usually on mobile). I do hope that the spreadsheets were able to help some people, especially during the early days of this debacle.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the community spreadsheet ☺️. I hope you all get your card soon! If you found the spreadsheet useful, please consider using my associate code for your next purchase:

My 3080 FTW3 Ultra (-KR) is arrived last week, I was in queue since early October(for all 3080 models). I received a mail with a "personal" link valid for only 8 hours. I paid the MSRP price(Evga europe), my country's VAT and 16 € shipping costs. Evga has shipped in DDP mode with DHL, only 4 days from Taipei to my house and no customs fees.

Giusto per curiosità, se ti va di scriverlo, qual è la data in cui sei entrato in coda (che puoi controllare dal sito sotto "My EVGA" > "My Notifies") per la 3080? Edit: For non-italian speaking ppl, I'm asking what's his queue timestamp is, just to have a rough idea on how the EU queue is. And, for that matter, is there a specific thread for EU queues? I'm only looking at this 3d, but I'm in the EU queues.

10/04/2020.(4 OCT) But a couple of days before the purchase email arrived, I re-changed from 3897 -KL to -KR. My 3080 FTW3 Ultra is a -KR card.

It sounds like RDNA 3 is hitting next year and also the nvidia 4000 series. Might make since at this point depending if they get the stock issues worked out by then or not.

It sounds like RDNA 3 is hitting next year and also the nvidia 4000 series. Might make since at this point depending if they get the stock issues worked out by then or not.
They'd better start making those cards last like last month then.

dmadzhitov Well, made a final decision today. Screw this. They can have it, I am done with this nonsense. I am not gonna pay these ridiculous prices. It is not an end of the world and I will survive without GPU for another year. EVGA values retail/etail "partners" more than "Elite members". You do understand EVGA has contracts to be honored with retailers and partners, contracts that cannot be broken because we can't wait to get a VGA at MSRP, right? And that EVGA actually makes more money from direct sells than from partners/retailers, which buys in stocks at (definitely) lower than MSRP. EVGA would be more than happy to sell all of its production directly to consumers, it would net more gain. At least EVGA made the effort to setup this queue system. Could be better? Maybe. But it's a lot more than any other AiBs has done in these crazy times and noone has even tried to copy this idea.

dmadzhitovEVGA values retail/etail "partners" more than "Elite members". EVGA is not gonna bend over to satisfy own loyal customers in favor of more profitable venues like scalpers and miners. This seems to come up a lot and maybe I'm not understanding it. EVGA has relationships with retailers like Best Buy, Microcenter, NewEgg, etc. who probably have had terms with them for years now stating certain levels of inventory which they will purchase from EVGA for resale. Because of the demand this year I wouldn't think EVGA would suddenly be able to withhold inventory and only sell direct without violating or, at best, harming those retailer relationships which they need to survive during all the other years the world isn't uniquely crazy. Those retailers are also selling to "loyal customers", in fact several in this thread have purchased from those retailers. I would hazard a guess that the agreement with those resellers also states a range for which they are allowed to sell their cards; I've only seen the usual retailers selling EVGA cards for MSRP. Selling direct to consumer here is probably their most profitable avenue since there is no middle man (retailer). I don't think they're making more money selling to any other retailer. I'm sure they'd love to be able to sell their entire inventory directly to consumers but that just isn't realistic, even now. Not doing that I think works in our favor since it isn't funneling EVERYONE here to buy their cards, there are still people trying to get them at retailers by waiting in lines or fighting people in the streets. "Scalper prices" are just that. Marketplace sellers, like Amazon (and even NewEgg), sometimes make it appear as if the retailer itself is selling for exorbitant prices but that's just the dumb nature of marketplace ecommerce. Some of those sellers probably bought from legitimate retailers for MSRP and then expect to flip it on marketplaces because those seem more legit than eBay.
