Lowered hash rate in ethereum. And nothing else. I don't really understand why people care that much.

nomoss 3897 notify received but my interested parties aren't interested in spending MSRP + tax + shipping for a card. My brother in law said "I only spent $370 for the 980Ti and this isn't even a Ti." I'm starting to think that people who ask for help generally don't deserve it.
So there willl be at least one straggler on Monday.
A snowmobile cost around $100 in the 70's. Inflation increases the cost of everything, even faster than wages it feels like. The global events of the last couple years has made things even worse. Doesn't mean we have to like the price increases, but things cost what they cost to make and everyone needs to put food on the table. It's pretty easy to forget that as we all get wrapped up in the daily grind.
Wages also increase at the same rate, which is not happening. If we apply the same logic to cpu then we should be paying more for a 8 core cpu today than what we paid for a single core cpu 10 years ago.

enewt I fear the -KRs (after an initial pop to clear their inventory) are now dead queues. I am considering actually putting them in a gray font to indicate unlikely to move in any material way for the foreseeable future. I am really sorry I don't have better news on this front, but I think those queues are in the deepest part of this gpu desert.
I think your right, as usual. When I signed up for the 3080 Ti I forgot to cancel the 3080 FTW (3897). When they switched it to KL I changed it back to KR just as a test. However, I would have taken it and cancelled the Ti if it had worked. But now I know it (the 3897) is never coming and that's ok because I really want the Ti or even a 3090. Your story was great, Enewt. Thank you for sharing and for the good laugh. I actually LOL'd.
Thanks for the back-up and the kind words; I appreciate it. Best of luck on the hunt for your titanium-infused gaming goodness. Have a great weekend.

Zen_Punk No they say it’s one sku per household. Not one gpu.
That's not what Jacob told me yesterday, despite what it states on page 1
FYI --
Just asked him again in the livestream stating that his answer conflicted with his own statements in the forum and this time he Reversed course, this time saying that its one "SKU" per customer (meaning you can basically buy as many as you can afford as long as they are different skus). Scalpers rejoice! so maybe he got confused or just wanted to get my hopes up IDK

I am not sure from your post whether you bought the card or not. If you missed the 8 hour window and still want to buy the card, do the following: (1) reply to the invite email (it should have come from ordernotify@evga.com) and indicate your interest in buying the card. (2) between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm PT on weekdays, call EVGA (+1.888.881.EVGA (3842)). EVGA will get you sorted and send you a new link to buy the card. Best of luck! P.S. Thanks for reporting back to the community.

sethleigh It's interesting that the 3080 FTW3 Ultra HydroCopper is only backed up to June 23, 2021. That's only 20 days before my own date. Now the question is whether they do these in batches and we won't see more HydroCoppers for another few months, or whether this could actually move along fairly soon. the 3899 queue? I thought this one was first opened up on that date - meaning, that this queue has only moved 15 seconds since it was opened up a month ago? Ouch. Oh well. I'll stay signed up for this notify, but will just forget about it until/unless someday I just randomly open my email and it's actually come up. Here I thought I was only 20 days out, not realizing it opened up on that date and it's moved 15 seconds in that time. Hey, my EVGA 1080ti with EK water block still works great, and will have to continue working great for a long time to come apparently.

Some have said that it would hurt resale value. I wouldn't care about that even if true. But they may also be like I was at first. I wasn't trusting that it wouldn't affect anything else. But I've come to learn I was wrong about that. I don't trust easily
I keep hearing people say that, but apparently they're not up on what's going on in the world of mining ETH. ETH 2.0 isn't far away which will end mining for GPU's, so the ETH hash rate limiter will be rendered moot from any perspective. It will be entirely irrelevant. So, I don't see it have any impact on resell in any way.

Hitch_Itch I have finally had time to remove all my notifies that I do not plan on purchasing since I am up and running on my 3080 FTW3 Hybrid card I received last week, This card is beast compared to my old 1080TI FTW3 which I sold in 1 hour after listing it ;) At least everyone that is still waiting in the que is now 1 slot closer. Words really cannot express my gratitude to Enewt for all of his hard work and time that he has donated in creating and updating the que sheets. The world would be a better place if we had more people like you in it. Kudo's to the EVGA Que, If it wasn't for the Que, I'd still be running on my 1080TI All I can say is, Patience does not come as easy as frustration does but it will pay off in the end which we do not realize until we have finally get our notification. May your Que come swiftly and may your game be strong! Until the next time my comrades! Be Well!
Congratulations again Hitch_Itch. Thank you for taking the classy approach and removing your notifications. Thank you also for the kind words; I really appreciate them. Have fun with your new gaming goodness.
From the "Dang, wish I had said that!" I second Hitc-Itch's eloquent comments on enewt and EVGA who stayed laser focused on the gaming community and more so about enewt's efforts on our behalf. Thanks enewt for all the LOL stories and your immeasurable calm all these months. It kept hope going during the times when one wanted to throw in the towel. EV-GA owes you big time. According to EVGA's email and consistent messaging, the answer is no. KL/KR are the same SKU for notification limitations of 1 SKU per household.

Thank you both. I really appreciate you taking the time to post and for posting such kind words. I really do appreciate it. In other news, I updated yesterday afternoon's summary. A late report on the 3897-KL that moved the line another 6 minutes. It now stands at 7:42:08 pm on 10/5...approximately 15 minutes in the timeline after the EVGA forum post announced the queue system. Get back to your jovial weekend activities.

Nice, if you don't mind me asking. Which Microcenter, and did they have certain days for the raffle or did you have to show up every day and see if there was a drawing that day?

in the houston, yeah you have to show up every time (not good for people who working business days like me, so i was only on Sut and Sun) if they cancel lottery the usually put note to entrance doors also want to add, it is was not very big line, appx 40-55 people, and imo they choose a lot of people, look like about 60% to my surprise it is wasn't so many hunters for 3080ti,(i mean specially from evga) people take a lot 3060ti, 3070, 3080s from other brands

Anyone knows anything about when it is going to move the queue for the 3080 TI FTW3? Did Jacob say anything about it? I am so desperate to get one, but there are around 90 people before my turn.
