I am sorry, but I think most of the cards goes to black market, go check how much it cost on Ebay and similar sites, the only reason I didn't get my card is that I loved EVGA, and I want my card to be EVGA, I found many others like Gigabyte. But again, lets wait and see, and I cannot even check my notifications, the page is gone.

Someone said it best , "fake hopes". I just don't understand how some people are able to buy cards for their friends and family, when most of us cant get EVEN ONE.

He meant chips. They do not manufacture the GPU, which is just one component on a graphics card. They manufacture the cards, but they are at the mercy of nVidia to supply the GPU and nVidia is at the mercy of Samsung. And they are in a queue, just like us with many other companies that need silicon, Samsung included. Then EVGA is at the mercy of many other suppliers for other components such as capacitors, resistors, inductors, mosfets... and so on.
 
Point is that blaming EVGA for not being able to produce enough cards is shortsighted, at best. If you think this is within EVGA's control, you have no idea how the supply chain works from end to end to get that card to your door. There are a lot of companies involved in the manufacture of a graphics card, end to end.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. You can assume the worst of people if that makes you feel better. Just don't succumb to sodium poisoning.

OMG, I am one minute away for the 3080 TI XC3, and 10 minutes away for the FTW3. It has been months waiting for a GPU. However, I do not know what to do since some people were advising not to buy the XC3 because of its issues.

I've bought 4 cards through the Queue and stepped up one of them.  Each of these was for a family member.  The first card went to my wife, the second to my daughter.  I didn't get the card I actually wanted until last week.
I'm still in queue for the 3080 cards for a couple of friends.  If they agree to purchase the card for my cost, they can have them.  If they don't respond quick enough, or try to get me to sell it for less than I paid, then I don't purchase the card and it goes back into the queue.
If it bothers you that people are using their early queue time slots to purchase cards for friends and family, then that's entirely your salt pill to take.

I feel like alot of you guys have gotten your cards already and still have many notifies open if not multiple accounts~!! Am I the only one Pissed that i see people getting notifies that they turn down... Doesn't this SLOW DOWN THIS ENTIRE PROCESS b/c every time they send an email out they have to keep that card available for that person for a time period... **** how many of you have cards and are still signing up for more? I just don't get it what the hell are you doing with all of these cards. Some of us don't have anything yet so how about give up all of your notifies once you receive a card... all this well i got a 3080 but i wanted a 3080 Ti and then my Brother also wanted me to get him a 3070 and my dad is getting the 3090... yall make me so mad!!! 

I'm with you man! @evgajacob told me yesterday during the podcast that the queue was limited to one GPU per household, really??? Cause it says right there on the 1st page of this thread that it is per sku! Which means when everybody signed up for the queue they signed up for Every card EVGA makes cause nobody knows which SKUs will be available first or how many, so that means they can BUY ONE OF EACH SKU! and list all their extras on eBay for 3x msrp.

I wish somebody from EVGA would clear this up cause it seems this is why the queue is only moving a few seconds every month.

And for the dude that said "you ain't trying hard enough" that's crap cause if you didn't sign up for the queue within the 1st hour a gpu was released you are not getting one. That is why you are seeing the same people getting all the cards!

I've been trying day and night for over 9 months and Im still sitting here with a high end PC in a caselabs case with only my IGPU. I don't have a micro center any where near me but I've been mashing F5 at Every etailer too no avail.

The queue should NOT still be backed up to before October of last year for every EVGA 3080, EVGA should NOT be helping scalpers at this point, otherwise what is even the point of having the queue?!

How long have some of you been waiting for to get their card of choice? I'm guessing I'll have a few months wait?

How do you pronounce e-V-G-A?  I've always pronounced each letter individually, but my partner in crime (and daughter, ver. 9.X), pronounces it as two syllables. "Ev-Ga". And the time I spend working on gathering reports and pulling together the summaries is "Daddy's EvGa Time."
 
Well last night, my daughter's characterization changed from "Daddy's EvGa stuff" to "Daddy's Evga sh!t". Did I mention that she is being raised by a family (and extended family) of sailors?!? It just kind of slipped out and the expression on her face made it clear that she was (a) trying out a new word and (b) fully cognizant that it was wrong. Her giggling (that quickly transitioned into outright laughter) was infectious and it wasn't long before Mrs. enewt had joined us in the room to make sure we were ok. When given the explanation for the laughter, she was not amused (but also is the individual that uses the adult language most frequently).
 
My daughter has committed that her new vocabulary word will take a hiatus for awhile after only a minor objection ("but Daddy, I hear mommy say that on her work calls and you say that every night when you die in PUBG."; as an aside, I continue to represent to her (without much conviction) that those early PUBG deaths will be eliminated when I no longer have to game on a 4-year old Alienware laptop.). Time will tell.
 
In any case, back to EvGa stuff...it is Friday; typically a straggler day...but hope springs eternal.

If you really think that a significant number of the members posting here are scalping cards, then I have a bridge to sell you... We're here waiting to buy a card to complete our build just like you, and had the exact same opportunity to reserve as spot in queue that you had. Also, I recommend going to eBay and checking what price cards are actually going for these days, it is not 3x msrp.

I completely understand where these folks are coming from. The amount of frustration and despair that washes over you when you initially realize that the Queue is not the quick savior you need it to be can be extraordinary. I would venture to say everyone in this thread has felt it at one point or another. I'm ok with them throwing a little salt. Get it out. Feel better. Then come join us around an ever growing campfire while you wait. Enewt has smores!
