enewt My Camel Day hopes were not completely answered, but nor was it completely dusty. Several cards had drops today and it finally feels like the 3080 FTW3 Ultra (3897) -- what I would have considered the flagship card of the September 2020 launch -- has finally hit the gap between its launch window and the Queue announcement window of 10/5-10/6...even though it didn't have a lot of units drop today, it moved slightly more than 24 hours. I would expect it to move about a day or so each new drop until it hits the afternoon of 10/5 when EVGA announced that the auto-notify button = queue registration. With respect to the 3958 Hybrid, I received a bit of an outlier report at 8:47:23 (20 seconds ahead of what I posted below); it may be that this outlier is the true head of the queue, but out of an abundance of caution and because it was so "alone" relative to the other reports for that card today, I did not include it in the summary below (I hope my caution is in err). Finally, thank you to all 58 folks who participated in the Summer Olympic Sport Viewing Preference poll. Swimming (15 1st place votes), Football/Soccer (11 first place votes), and Skateboarding (8 first place votes) took the top three ranked-choice spots. To the one "conscientious objector" and one "None of the Above" voters, special thanks to you for taking the time to vote.
- The following sports received at least one first place vote: 3x3 Basketball, Archery, Artistic Gymnastics (i.e., Gymnastics), Athletics (i.e., Track and Field), Badminton, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Canoe Slalom, Cycling BMX Freestyle, Cycling BMX Racing, Cycling Mountain Bike, Cycling Road, Diving, Fencing, Football/Soccer, Judo, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Sailing, Shooting, Skateboarding, Sport Climbing, Swimming, and Volleyball.
- The following sports did not receive any first place votes: Artistic Swimming (i.e., Synchronized Swimming), Baseball/Softball, Boxing, Canoe Sprint, Cycling Track, Equestrian, Golf, Handball, Hockey (i.e., Field Hockey), Karate, Marathon Swimming, Modern Pentathlon, Rowing, Rugby Sevens, Surfing, Table Tennis, Trampoline Gymnastics, Triathlon, Water Polo, Weightlifting, and Wrestling.
Thanks again to everybody for participating in the poll and I hope you have a safe and enjoyable Summer Olympics viewing experience (except for the two that apparently aren't going to watch...I hope you have safe and enjoyable alternative activities planned...s'more cooking around a campfire is always a good idea). Tomorrow is Thirsty Thursday. Hopefully EVGA_JacobF drinks plenty of drinks for everybody. Best of luck! Another day passed, another day no 3070/Ti notified ^^; I'm starting to believe the gaming gods don't want me to finish my Sentry build. I'm also in line for 3080s XC3 and 3060 Tis XC3. Speaking of which, how much confortable would you all be with a 5600X, 2x 1,36 V RAM, an NVMe SSD and a 3080 XC3 on a 600 W SFX PSU, specifically this one? I'm really looking for a 3070 Ti (and/or a reference RX 6800, if I can get it from AMD drops, maybe today is the lucky day!) and keeping the 3080s as backup plan. Would you agree on this backup plan or is 3080 too much for a 600 W PSU and I should drop the idea, if I can't get a 3070 Ti, or should be notified on a 3080 before a 3070 Ti? Consider I will try light oc (paired with undervolt, whenever possible), both on CPU and GPU, as long as temps will be reasonable (in the 80°~90° on max load).

After 10 months I (rightfully) thanked enewt and the rest of y'all for keeping the thread going. I was remiss on not thanking EVGA as well. Hat tip to EVGA. I know this queue system is not perfect but you look at the prices MSI, ASUS, Zotac are putting on their cards and EVGA has not followed suit. The only raise in EVGA prices was due to the tariffs. Above that EVGA put in the queue system long before anyone else. That queue system allowed me to get a 3060, 3070 and now a 3080 (the only card I really wanted) without exposing myself to the pandemic. My first EVGA purchase was in 2011 for my first PC build. A GTX 580 SC. That GTX 580 was by far the most expensive component for that build and I went with EVGA because I read about their top notch customer service. Well with the pandemic and the chip shortage, they are still living up to that top flight customer service reputation. From now on I will always look to buy a EVGA component for my PC before I purchase anything for my PC needs. TY, EVGA.

I have finally had time to remove all my notifies that I do not plan on purchasing since I am up and running on my 3080 FTW3 Hybrid card I received last week, This card is beast compared to my old 1080TI FTW3 which I sold in 1 hour after listing it ;) At least everyone that is still waiting in the que is now 1 slot closer. Words really cannot express my gratitude to Enewt for all of his hard work and time that he has donated in creating and updating the que sheets. The world would be a better place if we had more people like you in it. Kudo's to the EVGA Que, If it wasn't for the Que, I'd still be running on my 1080TI All I can say is, Patience does not come as easy as frustration does but it will pay off in the end which we do not realize until we have finally get our notification. As far as spec, it should work but it's close. You might need to be concerned with the power spikes the 3080 has. Being a quality platinum unit should help though. I'm not sure if these spikes are the result of overclocking - I haven't seen the promised articles on this matter. My gut says it's not a good idea, but maybe someone with a 3080 can chime in?

I don't think anybody answered you. It's an inventory control number. Stands for Stock Keeping Unit. referred to as "skyew"

That's why my first choiche is between a 3070 Ti (XC3) and a reference RX 6800, with the AMD being the first choice given its 250 W TDP versus the 3070 Ti's 290 W TDP and the 6800 has better performance in rasterization, which is still the rendering mode of the wast majority of games. Finger crossed for today's AMD drops!

Finger crossed for today's AMD drops! the 3080s work best if u can lock a voltage on msi afterburner beta at a max clock for your gpu. it varies game to game. for instance i know on my ftw3 ultra 3080 2205mhz 1.075 will stay stable all day with out spikes.... just play with the curve and find your sweet spot. it can take a while but once u know where your card sits you can get maximum performance. same goes for under volting... find minimum voltage your card likes and adjust ur curve accordingly.

Not sure what I'll end up putting in this Mini-ITX build, but I want to build my first custom water cool loop PC into a modded 1st generation Power G4 case I have laying around for quite some time now. That's definitely something I will put an Nvidia inside, an *80/Ti tier most probably, when the time comes.

Nice, Grats :) I got the same 3060 via the Queue about a month ago, It wasn't my first choice, but my 980ti was barely limping along so just getting a card to replace it was massive for me. I've been pleasantly surprised with the performance that being said when the chance presents itself I'll move on to something like a 3080 and the 3060 will go on to live in my kid's rig.

ExcaliburXVIIIn case anybody was buying that the intention was to sell the card at MSRP, here is another card bradsour sold for $1,800. I haven't been a follower of this but I can't stand liars. Edit: Screenshot in case he somehow deletes it.
Life not always Black & White. Actually, mostly it gray. Yes, he sold to for $1800+$30, but actually he got only $1600 because of eBay fees - profit is only $150. Or 10% on top of $1450 retail price. If $1800 looks a lot - check today Shuffle: MSI for $1770, ASUS for $1900 and $2000. And you can't just buy it - you have to buy bundle with make price even greater. And there a lottery too. Now $1800 doesn't seem as bad deal, right? Do you know this person? Of course you do - it is Wernher von Braun, father of Saturn V, rocket that delivered man to the Moon. He is hero, right? But how about his rocket V-2 he developed in Nazi Germany? It killed thousand of British people in London and tens of thousand killed at rocket factory during World War 2. Is he a monster? But how many people can be killed if Nazi Germany instead spend money to develop and build rockets made bombs and airplanes? Probably even more... so who is he? Tough question.

Dont know what you are trying to say here. But he likely got the card for free with EVGA Bucks. So $1500+ Profit.

LeChuck81 Another day passed, another day no 3070/Ti notified ^^; I'm starting to believe the gaming gods don't want me to finish my Sentry build.
So a 600W platinum PSU on a 2 pin 320w TDP 3080 and a 5600X will work. That said it will use more then 50% of the power supply and not be effient and run a bit hotter. I ran a 3 pin FTW3 380W TDP on a EVGA 650W P2 with a 3700X I was pulling I think up to 550w from the wall so around 490W system use. I later went to a Superflower Platinum 850W and 5800X
5800X 4.75ghz 1.25v, 3090 Kingpin, 32GB Trident Z Bdie 3800Mhz, Superflower 1000w Platinum, Sabrent Rocket 4.0 1 TB, 970 Evo Plus 2TB 3600/3080 FTW3, 32GB Balistix 3600, Superflower 850W Platinum, MP600 500GB

No. Some people may use first associate code that they found just to get discount, but most of them uses specific code for a reason. Bradsour and others invest their time to do tracking, so you have to account that when calculate " profit".

I am assuming the "server at capacity" icon is most likely a result of 1000s of inquiries regarding the 3090 ftw3 debacle; which would also prevent evga from doing any kind of sizeable drop today

Just reply to the notify email and tell them you were unable to make purchase within 8 hours because you were at work and evga will send you a fresh purchase link

I guess Godwin's law really does exist. Only took us just under 1600 pages to get there.

Widespread internet outages right now related to a DNS provider, likely what is affecting EVGA's site currently.

@tshalev,
LOL at Godwin’s Law. 🤣
The last 10 pages or so is basically why eVGA may need to look into the associates program.
When “perks” are tied into anything, it becomes a problem after a while.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve used someone’s code in the past and didn’t even tell them. No matter how deserving you think one may be to get eVGA bucks, there will be 10 others thinking why they’re not being given their dues, as has been demonstrated in this very thread multiple time.

That's reassuring. Worst case scenario, I know I can safely order a 3080 XC3 without the need to look out for a beefier PSU, if my turn on 3881/3885 should arrive before the 3751/3755/3785. As it seems it can happen, considering today was another dry day for 3070s/Tis… ^^;
