Can someone else do the same for me ?, I will pay by PayPal or whatever. The person to whom I gave my place I found out that she is also in the queue, but she already wanted her card, I don't know if she will help me buy my card

Jeeeezus, next week is going to be insane. November in general is going to be crazy in the gaming landscape. I'm still set on getting a 3080 so this may be that lucky break I was hoping for after all, especially since I know a ton of people who won't get AMD cards but are tired of waiting for 3080s might jump on the 3070s if availability is good. Fingers crossed, queue might start sprinting starting the first week of November.

If the 3070 are using the same Samsung chips then I wouldn't hold my breath on the 3070 being more available. They'll vaporize just like the 3080 & 3090

Unfortunately someone apparently just messed up the spreadsheet from about half way onward by inserting lines way up the page and bumped everyone's placement to the person 2 rows above them. Smh..  I can't fix this, sorry, I don't have the permissions on that sheet. I'll email the spreadsheet owner, but they've already told me they are going to delete the entire column H with the place numbers if people keep messing up, so looks like I'm done with it for now.

Frankly, I'm surprised the spreadsheet went this long without someone borking it.  I was clear many were already having problems entering information based on some of the errors that were coming up and I also suspect some people were not using military time.  Where I work, we usually we lock down reports from spreadsheets because people mess them up so often.  Anyhow, I hope the owner takes care of it.

Any news on the  orders?

I’m wondering what’s my ETA too, seems I’m pretty high on the list.

Hi.  Please include for which card you are inquiring.  I am guessing it is an XC3 card...but which one?

Ah why didn't it copy pasted!

You are early in the list, but the 3080 XC3 Blacks have yet to materially move.  So, unfortunately, until they start coming in, any estimate would be unsupported by any real evidence.

no offense, with all respect. this queue system is meanless after all, since even there are no cards "in queue".
I guess everyone will get a card next year whenever all other brands 3080 are everywhere.

I've been saying this. If we're still going off of this queue system by December...you guys all have way more patience than me. Because I'll be buying an AMD card or a 3080 off of eBay before then. I've been patient. Still trying to be patient. But I'm not going to wait months and months for a card using this insanely slow queue system.

Which is good for everyone waiting. The more people that get tired of waiting and move on to something else the more people that will wait that will get their cards sooner than they would have. At the end of the day (or year) this will all sort itself out one way or the other. I actually hope a lot of people jump ship and pick up AMD cards. I hope they have a ton of cards and it clears up the list for those of us that want nvidia cards. Its a win win for everyone. Personally I'm wanting to get a 5900x cpu in 2 weeks so I hope availability is good. So I'm willing to wait for a 3080.

While EVGA as company and people who filling list day and night are outstanding and helpful, Queue list (incomplete) put under spotlight all NVIDIA's misery about this paper launch.
When big retailers get a batch of 3 or 5 cards it shows how bad NVIDIA production is. I guess their CEO will stop to wear a leather jacket and wear a cheep plastic one. Well deserved.

I'm considering Zen 3 as well.  But I fear that there will be shortages like the 3080.  In my mind, cpus should be much easier to produce in volume, since you don't need to deal with more parts (e.g., pcbs, coolers, ram, capicitors, etc).  But who knows these days.  Anyhow, I'll probably grab whatever cpu I can get once I get my graphics card.

I disagree. It's not meaningless because when someone who hit auto-notify shortly before I did gets their email I know that I am getting close. That's valuable info as far as I'm concerned.

me too, I have 3900, and I will get this new zen3 cpu as well.  I think I will get the new cpu before this 3080. 3080 is a story of next year.

At the rate the unofficial spreadsheet is moving, everyone on the unofficial list will likely have a card by February if the volume of cards remains flat.  That is a long wait, patience is painful, but if volumes go up and it appears from everything Jacob is saying that it is up every week, its likely that everyone has a card sooner.  This is all hypothetical, but I prefer optimism, I am hopeful we all have cards by xmas.

It's been over a month since launch. Looking at the spreadsheet, nearly 4,000 card notifications have been added, and of those, only just over 250 cards have gone out (that's total across all types). That's just 6% supply vs demand a month after launch. Wow. Not good NVidia.

Unfortunately, you are at the end of the list.  The good news is that there are fewer people in the 3090 list and that EVGA has started working through the queue.  I would say, rough estimate, late November or December before your name comes up. The auto-notify button for the 3090s has been available for a month, so there is a good number of people ahead of you.

Errrr I believe list is still at launch day 9/17 around 8am.
Might be wrong but you should be over 1k behind.
Don't shoot the messenger :)

For a 3090, there are less than a 1000 people in the spreadsheet for each model.  We don't know how many people signed up for auto-notify that are not on the spreadsheet.  I would think you are in the 390+ range on the spreadsheet and probably in the 800+ range in total.  Sorry for the rough news.

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2020/10/23 10:21:55 (permalink)
Please don't take this wrong if you are one of these people but why would you want a see through PC case? I know some are proud of their equipment but PC's are to be used, not stared at, Right? I am getting the 3090 FTW3 Ultra and if they had a version that was $50 less without the bling I would have requested a notification on it instead. I recently bought the Samsung Odyssey G7 32" that has lights on it and I turned them off. I just don't want a light show distracting me while I am on my PC. Same goes with overclocking. I didn't overclock my 5 year old PC until this year when I realized it was getting some age on it. I had a watercooler on it in 2015! When I did overclock it I found an article on how to do it and quickly moved on afterwards. And yeah I guess I could also be labeled as a nerd because I am a programmer. I love to build my own PC's as a hobby though but bling on my equipment is not a requirement.

Now where is my 3090 FTW3 Ultra

no offense, with all respect. this queue system is meanless after all, since even there are no cards "in queue".

Let me tell you about patience.  My current rig is 10 years old.  Took me about the last 5 to convince the wife that we need a new gaming PC.  (As with all big budget items, we need to agree on them.)  I bought parts a month ago, having no idea gpu launches were like this and assumed that I'd able to secure a gpu with some decent effort on my part.  The Witcher 3 is my most favorite game ever, and I am beyond hyped to play Cyberpunk.  It will hurt not play it at launch.

So I get the impatience.

That said, the world is upside down right now, we have probably the most important election in a generation, hundreds of thousands of Americans dead, and millions out of work.  We're fortunate to be able to afford a 800 dollar card to play games.  I understand we all need a little escapism in our lives right now, but we can wait.  Outside of those who really need it for work, there are lots of other things to enjoy right now.

It's been over a month since launch. Looking at the spreadsheet, nearly 4,000 card notifications have been added, and of those, only just over 250 cards have gone out (that's total across all types). That's just 6% supply vs demand a month after launch. Wow. Not good NVidia.

We don't know how many cards EVGA has shipped to retailers and how many they sell direct through their own store though. So while we all wait we can see that there is product, just not nearly enough. We don't know what is causing the lack of volume. Lots of speculation about it, but NVidia will not tell us, and AIBs will not criticize their supply chain. So, we wait.
