Elite has been here for years, only the exclusive access to queue for 24 hours is new

1.  Yes, on release day, the auto notify opens to elite members for 24 hours after which it is available for everyone.
2.  This is not a pre-order, you are not buying anything at that time.  When your queue position comes up, you will receive an invite to purchase email and then you decide if you want to buy it or not.

Agreed.  That's why when I was into baseball card collecting I always sold the cards for $0.89 (cost of the pack, minus 10 cents for the gum I chewed.)  Who cares that the foil rookie cards "books" at $120, that's not fair to the person buying it (who will most likely sell it for a profit but that's on HIS SOUL!)

So by that logic, I should have instead taken the 15+ cards in my possession during this fiasco and sold them for 2-3x what I paid.  Plus, my old trusty 1080ti that gave me 4 years of joy, I should probably get back the full $850 I paid, you know, because this is about the profit right?  Not gaming or helping out someone else, but what's in it for me...  Sheesh.
 
We are buying baseball cards for the purpose of finding those rare cards, we don't buy them to get our 10th 85 Topps Juan Berenguer...  And I never remember my local card shop running out of cards to sell or a global trading card shortage, maybe it happened in the Upper Deck days when the cards went from about love of the game/hobby to profit (sounds familiar right?).  That 1080ti wasn't purchased as an investment piece, does it really owe us anything?  So, instead of passing it along and feeling good, we would rather take advantage of a shortage and pass the misery along to the next guy.
 
Welp, that's not the way I think...  I got 2 more hybrids in the queue coming and they are going to gamers for my cost.  If the person I sell it to lied to me and mines/sells at a profit, well, you are 100% right, that's on their soul not mine.

It's ridiculous to shame people for selling their old cards at what the market supports.  It's also ridiculous to expect people to sell any item below market value because of your personal moral code.  For that matter, I could say shame on you for buying hybrid cards out of the queue to sell to your friends at any price, because you are taking cards away from legitimate queue members who have waited months to cut your friends in ahead of the line.

I'm tryna hit post count elite, but its just gonna come naturally, I don't really want to go find 100 numbers on the counting thread xD

3090's are easier to get compared to the 3080's.  Friend of mine landed a 3090 FE from a best buy drop a couple months ago
 

I've been trying for both but never gotten all the way through the process. FE or EVGA is all I really would take but sooner or later something will happen.
