I recommend the following approach: 
 
(1) reply to the email (it should have come from ordernotify@evga.com) and indicate your desire to purchase the card.
(2) call EVGA customer service during their working hours (9 am to 6 pm PT Weekdays (excluding EVGA holidays)): 1.888.881.EVGA (3842)
(3) they should be able to locate your reply, confirm that the queue has reached your registration and reissue you a new email with a new link to purchase your card.  It might take a day or so for them to confirm on-hand inventory and issue the replacement email.  
 
Do not panic about the 8 hour window. EVGA should get you sorted.

I told the homie that the 3888 card is his a month ago... i feel bad for having him wait this long since he already bought his PC parts. I assumed being 4 seconds away, i'd have the card by now. 

I am in the same situation until tomorrow. My buddy has been waiting for my current card since I signed up in December for the 3898 I'm glad I finally get to build the rest of his system for him. I got my notification last Friday.

Yep this card is for a buddy too. He has been patient, but it is hard to explain to a non-queue follower how 39 secs away in December still equals no card mid-May. Still could be way worse...

I think it will always be softer when they are dropping the 55.  Those dropping again is long overdue, so happy to see them both.  But happier for the 55 folks who have been waiting for quite a long time.

I believe, but i have no evidence of it, that most people who signed up for the 3655 have signed up for the 3657 at the same time as well (i know i did). If that's the case, the new movement to the 55 queue is bringing a card to people that have already got a 57...

many of those will pass if they already got the 3657, so it should move more then you might expect

There's plenty of evidence of people who only signed up for the 55.  Just go back to Feb 25 or so on these forums and read away.  A lot of people (and I can't disagree really) hated the performance lift on the 57 vs the 55 relative to the lift on price.  That said, I think the people who skipped signing up the first day on the 57 went back and did so, but probably weeks later after the 57 went on a roll and the 55 went on a hiatus.
 
Of course people also signed up on the first day for both as early as they could.  Either hedging their bets or simply they want both.  That is how the queue game works.

I only put in for one model (3895) and it appears that it's going nowhere, so I ended up ordering a laptop with a 3070 to tide me over until such time as it's easier to get a GPU. 
 
Maybe a 7000 series or at least a 6060 Ti. 
 
I'm not removing myself from the queue tho.  If I did that today my number would come up tomorrow...

Quick question: has anyone with the original red-lipped shroud tried requesting for a black-lipped one from EVGA? I remember from a while back that they were offering them for free to those who bought GPUs?

I haven't personally done it, but I understand it was as simple as e-mailing redtrim@evga.com with your serial number.

I really hope it helps ppl buy new cards
