Sorry to hear that, he lived a long and fruitful life it sounds like, so that is good. I myself lost family right before the whole pandemic, so I can relate a bit.
You missed the Kingpin Hydrocopper limited launch of about 30 seconds lol, its head is at 5 seconds and Enewt got errors like many when signing up, I managed to get in at 7 seconds -_-
Keep an eye out for 3080/3070 ti info, there has been an increase in rumors about it, so that might be your best bet for getting a card, though it will be horrendously difficult to get in with so many more people trying to get one. They made all new popular product launches Elite exclusive for the first 24 hours of launch, which when combined with mass media coverage of that fact, and how to get elite membership(aka 100 forum posts...), has caused a massive influx of spam posts lol

I read the article linked by Ras TeX, and that indeed seems to be similar to the availability of Ampere cards here as well. My sources at local retailers have noticed a definite drop in availability of late. I hope it picks back up soon. Perhaps the slowdown is a transition to mining-limited cards?

It's very possible. Perhaps that or they've moved some resources over to producing the yet-to-be-announced cards in the hopes that it's a smoother launch than we've seen for this generation. Either way, let's hope this temporary slowing doesn't last too much longer and reverses into consistent movement for everyone!

Another illustrative example of why the evga queue is just better. The queue is not perfect always; the wait may generally be long, they offered this elite thing that flooded forums with "I love evga cards" to 100, and sometimes you simply don't make the cut-off for a sign-up. Some warts, but it is a great effort. Now there's another place that does ok. They shuffle things around, although all's I ever get in response to this is they are sorry and wished they had more product. Today they had one item which got me excited. Not expectant, but excited. Then after the end of shuffling but before drawing, they dropped the same item on the retail front with a limit of 5 per customer. Of course it went to backorder faster than I could get there, and the backorder was simply a broken link by the time I clicked it. The mind blowing part is that retailer would have sold them all simply drawing down the shuffle list. They prefer sending sad emails. Winner, evga - they don't send you apologetic emails. They simply get to you when they get to you. * update - The backorder recently turned into an oops, this is for the random draw. If my stock alerts were right, that was on the second alert. I guess there was a volley of emails on that one.. probably mostly polite *cough* but upset. =x
