godevp is there a point to wait for 3080 for someone who in the queue from 4/29/2021? or it's better already to wait for 3080ti?
I would queue for the 3080 ti with that date, but make sure to get ELITE status on the forums (I think you only need 100 posts) as the queue will only be open to ELITE member the 1st 24 hours.

Waiting is free, while you wait sign up for the 3080ti and anything else that will make you content. Just whatever you do, dont queue and stop trying.

duffeywolvin Yeah, the Newegg shuffle has been useless for a week or so, and the bundles they've been offering have been mostly terrible for longer than then. I'm not buying an overpriced trash motherboard to get a shot at an overpriced 3080.
It's not always an over-priced motherboard. Sometimes it's a power supply that puts out less wattage than you'd need for all but the most basic of tasks.

Lets not give Newegg all the credit, the cable companies invented the TV, internet, and phone bundle... perhaps the great grandaddy of all useless bundles.

From what I have seen, bundles involving EVGA products seem to be a bit better, still not ideal.

Holy ****! Two 3898 drops in one week. There is no way that happened on purpose. The latest shipment must have arrived in two parts. I was wondering why the drop earlier this week was so small and now I have my answer. I'm about 112 seconds away in the queue which translates to August if everything remains the same.

fuccons GEFORCE RTX 3080 XC3 10G-P5-3881-KL is up for preorder on a certain website. Not sure if we are allowed to mention it.
Looks like most of the EVGA LHR lineup is there. Two 3060 Ti, three 3070, and five 3080.
Looks like the XC3 Black models are pretty popular... They are in for a surprise.
what site is being referenced? i cant find pre orders for anything anywhere on that sku lol

Very weird, I wanted to look My Notifies to check my time...but it keeps wanting me to sign in, and then when I do it says "Incorrect reCAPTCHA" even though there is no reCAPTCHA appearing anywhere...? Maybe the website is just having problems.

I'm just looking at it as one drop in two parts. The pace of the 3898 has been pretty steady. Only one drop per month, but you can count on that one drop happening. I was bummed when the queue only moved 30 seconds earlier in the week because it was small in comparison. When you add today's movement it's more like the others. If I had to guess, the May shipment of 3898's arrived in two different airplanes, or one of the pallets didn't fit in the truck and had to wait for the next one. Nothing to see here, in other words. ~edit I'm just glad that it ended up being status quo and not the dreaded slow down that some SKU's have experienced.

I've had exactly that issue as well, but for me it works the second time I try. Weird for sure.

You're most likely getting a gimped card if you haven't gotten an email by now. Come June and after, AIBs will slowly transition to LHR cards unless you're in queue for a 3090.

Where do EVGA assemble their cards? I assume they get the PCB from Nvidia, but then they assemble them at their own facilities. Is it stateside? Or in Asia/elsewhere?
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the community spreadsheet ☺️. I hope you all get your card soon! If you found the spreadsheet useful, please consider using my associate code for your next purchase:

They get dies from Samsung, depending on card model(70/80/90) memory from Micron, PCB they make themselves, but are most likely manufactured in Taiwan irrc, and that's also for whole card assembly as well

Still waiting, and waiting, annnd waiting from Sept of last year 9/19 (3881) and 9/21 (3883 / 3885) respectively... I guess I should have created more of a demand and qued all the 3080s, instead of trying to get a cheaper card and save some for everybody else. I qued up for a 3895 and 3897 on 12/25 after realizing the cheaper ones were non-existant lol Lesson learned. 🙄

Yeah, you're close enough to your window. Don't give up! Email EVGA and let them know your circumstances. They are well-known to help the queue customers out as long as you don't wait too long.
