While they have done more than other AIBs, its hard to blame people for being upset when EVGA does things that makes it harder for their loyal "fans" to get products.
Examples:
Giving cards to LTT instead of the queue.
Advertising elite membership early access.
Not offering Bstock on a notify basis.
Don't get me wrong, the notify queue is great however seeing new customers/bots swoop in and grab cards while more loyal "fans" have to wait is not good for their brand retention. I think EVGA relies on that brand retention so it can be damaging to prioritize seeking new customers at the cost of existing ones.
What does loyal fan of evga do when their last purchase was from 2010 ? Using this as an example because some of you spewing that forum account creation date correlates to level of evga devotion. If you really wanted the card. U would have sign up early. If you didn’t know about it. U had many chances after the changes made about evga invites. 3080 hybrids have been launched after nov. two months after ampere launch. Then there’s the folks who sign up for xc3 weeks after sept n complain they been waiting half a year with no movement. U can’t be serious and cry about it when u picked the cheapest no margin model for evga to make. Shortage going on along with materials in short. Like water being short supply in Taiwan doesn’t help either. If you don’t like how evga is handling it. Go buy zotac. They have drops everyday. Have fun with errors every time you click something
I am not implying creation date correlates with the level of EVGA "fandom". I am not talking about choosing the right sku, or the reason for the shortage, but saying people shouldn't be dismissing people's frustration when EVGA does make mistakes under the guise of "they have done better than the others". I have defended EVGA on several accounts for market conditions outside of their control.

EVGA has been my go to for gpu's and psu's going on 6 years now.They are diffently the best money can buy .But my loyalty is being tested from the total lack of getting a gpu after 7 months plus.Their loyalty seems to extend only to their partners and miners.Gamers on the list are getting very very very few gpu's.

If you're mad at the lack stock evga has go click that buy now button somewhere else.
Signing up for the forum is not the same as buying EVGA products. You can do one at a different time than the other

3897 moved two hours yesterday! My sign up is at 9/21/2020 7pm I'm sure others are feeling a mix of the same; the jumble of hope, excitement and knowing we've waited so long and still so long to go. ugh. Add on top of that, when the wife's computer crashes and she stares at me across the desk while it's rebooting cause I said I'd get her a video card (this has been going on since September when I foolishly thought signing up for the queue would be like a month). It's certainly a quagmire of conflicting emotions. :(

Hulky87Let's take a moment of silence for our fellow PCMR players who ended up buying 11900K, I hope one day to see EVGA X570 FTW WiFi. You are talking about AMD? They will never do that. AMD competitor for Nvidia and Intel - EVGA don't want to ruin their partnership with them.
I mean, objectively that's not the reason. EVGA are just relatively small, and they would be stretching themselves thinner than they already are. You could ask why they don't produce GPUs with AMD as well. Most other manufacturers make parts for all 3. I could get a Gigabyte X570, Z490, 3080 and 6800 if I wanted to, as an example.

Good luck on the Z590s, whoever is interested... I cannot bring myself to start a 2nd build with Intel, now that I switched to AMD just a couple months ago. That board is enough to make me consider it though, it is pretty.

On the Elite stuff,
Who was buying low watt PSUs?
Really 500w and below are dead inv.
I think EVGA knows exactly what is happing and bet on much of it.
Perhaps even told sites about 2 PSU for Elite and other things.
By the way I know I have had older, but this is the farthest back I have found so far.

Was Intel for a long time... My trusty 6700K was getting long in the tooth and I got caught in the Zen3 hype, went 5900X. Seeing the Rocket Lake stuff now, I am not regretting it... Although Intel is not dead yet. I had the 5600X for about 6 weeks before I got the 5900X, that's a great cpu... I could have stuck with that and been very happy.

No other brand is doing this that I know of.
The loyalty in question should be to nVidia for making the mining cards and not so great limiters.

I've been distracted, had my oil checked today by my doctor and we're getting our first pfizer shots on Saturday morning. best of luck to you all. I have posted something similar before with the hopes it would be taken as "tough love". We all obviously think EVGA makes good cards, we are all passionate about it whether we agree or not with their recent moves. But being overly stubborn and/or focusing on complaining about how bad EVGA sucks is tiresome... There has been a LOT of opportunity over the last 7 months to get into queues or obtain cards, if the people have put in the work. If they are unable or unwilling to do so, that's understandable, but that also means they should have limited time to complain as well. I wish everyone the best, but I will continue to defend EVGA, and continue to frown on those who would rather complain for 7 months straight than adapt to the situation. Sounds like I am not the only one.

I wanted to make jokes about you saying 1080 Ti but that wouldn't be particularly productive ;) As for the EU Elite member queue priority, I remember seeing someone else say that it was only for NA - might be worth messaging EVGAJacob on Twitter.

Sounds like I am not the only one.
Shall we just say there are some uhm “artistic differences” over style between you and some others? I do agree constant complaining gets annoying (especially from some specific members), and then there are some who want to overdo the annoyance part by queue shaming them. And I’m sorry to admit they did overdo it since I can count to five and refresh to see the “rebuttal” post right after I see any complaint.
