Gamer-Monk I understand it is good business for the company's to have more elite members, since elite membership is a joke on the next product release 99% signed up will be elite members the remaining 1% will be outsiders.
how to push psu sales... make it qualify for elite.. profit..

I think it would just make the current flash flood of spam posts 5X....
Im hearing of guys just buying 2 of EVGA's cheapest PSU's just for the Elite membership....basically buying it I mean in their eyes they can just dump the PSU sand if they get early queue a single card will make their money back and then more. Its just depressing. Maybe EVGA will catch onto that, heck maybe we could get lucky enough for their shipments to be delayed to prevent registration so they get locked out of the early queue

An Elite Mouse is much more useful than PSU you can connect multiple mouse but what are you going to do the the extra PSU.

If you already have a good mouse whats the second going to do? They are only $35 PSU's so Im guessing they dump them on Facebook marketplace for $25: HeY Guys SeLlInG My NeW PsU, I AcCiDeNtAlLy BoUgHt ThE WrOnG SiZe. My LoSs Is YoUr GaIn.

I already have my new PC built minus the GPU (still on a second-hand 1060 3gb from 4 years ago that I got when I started college; still waiting on the EVGA auto-notify queues). Just like you, I want to lock scalpers out of buying 2 PSUs just for the elite membership/early access to the notify queue, but I also find myself being tempted to do something similar. Obviously, I do want the Elite membership to get a 3080ti now that I can afford it (or any 3070+ at msrp) and I really do hope I can get enough twitch channel points in time, but I'm worried I might not succeed before the product launches. I'm just not so sure if upping the requirements is a good thing, as not only would it restrict scalper access, it would also restrict any new legitimate EVGA customer access. For example, I recently bought an EVGA B-stock PSU, but I just found out that B-stock purchases don't contribute to the elite member status. It's also a catch 22 situation: EVGA elite members who gained their status through product registration are already likely to have a modern GPU; new customers who don't have an elite membership are seeking a new GPU because they themselves don't have a modern GPU yet (and it's also hard to differentiate them from scalpers).

I have a few mice hanging around. I got a Naga for my main setup. A MX master for my laptop to use on the go and a random Msi mouse for my test bench setup. I also keep some mice around in case a customer needs it. I build PCs as a hobby so it happens sometimes.

I'm enjoying my GTX 1080 SC that I got last July, I have signed up for the RTX 3080 I'm looking for to an upgrade and only need this 1 card. I'll try for the 500 posts, but that could take years... I signed up for the auto notify back in November, but I have not even seen an notice from . Just wondering, I love the B Stock category, I hope it never goes away, got at 850Watt for under $80.00. Pretty cool.

I find that to get 500 posts they should all be quality posts. A lot of the time, I check EVGA on Facebook and rarely check the community blog. I'm going to try and change. I'm in the computer industry and understand shortages, demands, etc. So I'll be patient, a 1080 Ti Water cooler is not bad card to wait for 3080.

That would deter me. The entire program has me thinking about other brands, to be honest. I am not a fan of privileged clubs. It's great for y'all, but in the end it is just easier to go elsewhere and not worry about it.
if you are thinking about other brands-why do you need a elite status? it should only include people who really want an evga card and respect the brand. this is my opinion.

The EVGA queue seems to be the only sure-fire way of getting a card at MSRP. That's why I want elite status. I respect EVGA and I really want their card but adding more restrictions on how to get an elite status would stop new legitimate customers like me from having a shot at the 3080ti (I bought an 850 GA watt power supply straight from EVGA's website on Dec 2020, but it's ineligible for elite status because it was B-stock; I think that blows).

Didn't think EVGA would suddenly change their policies and give a 24-hour exclusivity window for Elite members for new product launches (I understand it for special products like the 3090 Kingpin). Don't get me wrong, I do like this exclusivity window more than EVGA not having one; it's just unfortunate for new potential buyers who don't already have a GPU (like me).

Also, does anyone have any advice on how to sign up for a product launch while the website keeps crashing? It literally took me ~20 minutes to get the EVGA site to load when I signed up for the 3080 FTW/XC3 hybrid editions (I tried on both mobile and desktop). I have absolutely no clue how people managed to snag a ~9:02/9:05 am auto-notify slot.

I know no one knows for sure about EVGA notifications, but I sent registered my notification for a 3080 on January 3, 2021. What's frustrating is I see Best Buy, Amazon, Newegg get them in all the time. Sure, they sell out in about 3 minutes but come on. People here want one card. At least those signed up, get one card. Anyway, if anyone has any news at all as to when that could be, that would be most appreciated!!!

Cheemonstonzo Grabbed a 2060 XC Black. Price was good enough that I'm happy to give my rx580 a bit of a break. It's really struggling with 1440p. Saw lots of 2070's and 2080's but once I consider $80 shipping and a mystery import duty, the 2060 still leaves me enough money to get a 3000 series. BTW still dropping cards...
Only on the American side of the pond ... when you switch to EU, the stock disappears all of a sudden. Too bad.
Somethin's fishy in Europe....

Doesn’t explicitly say it does not ship out of US, and I believe Newegg does ship internationally, but they may have restrictions on what item(s) they can ship.
If I had to guess, I’d say shuffle is limited to US, but do not have concrete evidence to point at.

I have nothing to show for my two months of trying the shuffle either, but others have purchased multiple times from the shuffle so it seems like someday I may get a card from it.
At least I’d like to think so.

I wonder if the people who say they have been selected multiple times are using multiple accounts. Newegg doesn't require much info to sign up.

I’m sure there are people using multiple accounts trying to game the system. But the reports I’m seeing are in this thread, where people say they’ve gotten multiple selections over a period of time, so it looks like it’s just the luck of the draw. Edit: Also, Newegg says they check IP addresses to verify orders and IP addresses found to be identical on a given day “might” be blocked for a duration of time, so one needs to be really innovative to recruit friends and family to game the Newegg system. Though if you enter with 10-15 email addresses and only one gets the draw for a day I don’t think anything Newegg cab do.
