cmil6199 I have nothing against msi... I am currently rocking a ventus x3 3070 and my old card was an msi rx550xt
They were scalping their own cards, never buying MSI

vivithemage Interesting that MSI is the first to pop up with them.
cmil6199 yeah the photo of the pallet was msi as well.
Apparently MSI has a history of leaking like a sieve (and also had some questionable business practices like scalping their own cards through a subsidiary company). It's happened enough that when reporting on the leaked 3080 Ti photo, Gamers Nexus called them "the great leaker" and even took it so far as to turn them into a Magic the Gathering card...

I was trying to wait this whole mess out, then my EVGA GTX 960 died. Now I'm in the queue for 3070. I dunno how many months it's going to take, but I sure hope I don't miss that notification when it eventually goes out. I see older posts saying things like "My expected date is February" from December of last year... is that no longer a feature or have I added cards that there are no plans to re-release to my notifications?

I think people just made guesses based on the rate at which the queue was moving. Unfortunately, the movement of most queues has become so erratic and inconsistent that it's pretty difficult to reasonably estimate this. It was never super accurate anyhow.

Re estimates...I am at my daughter’s soccer practice and not in front of my records, but the “expected date” thing was from a column in some other folks’ spreadsheets...I think they meant it for humor purposes only and that it was not intended to be a serious estimate...but, regardless, nobody can tell you with any certainty how long your wait will be other than it is longer than you deserve. I bought the power supply right before they announced the 24 hour early queue perk, figured I would try registering it to see if that qualified. I never thought about B-stock before, saw someone mention it while stalking this thread the past few months. Never having built a computer before and not knowing what card I will end up with, I went with the 850w gold. Hopefully that will cover whatever I eventually end up with.

Looks scary how the queue hasn't moved at all since November. It would be great if there was an estimate of how fast the queue will progress this year. By the looks of it we might end up waiting for well over a year.

The only ones I've seen have this issue (in my very short research) seem to be Active PFC. That's the only thing I can think of as some PFC PSUs can wreak havoc on non-PFC UPS. My current PSU is active PFC and plays nice with my AVR, non-PFC UPS, so it might be a specific style of circuit design that doesn't play nice.

Epic find though with right clicking on the button and inspecting to see the total notification numbers. I say keep it, it was fun to get a quick look at how crazy it gets in only a few minutes .

I originally signed up for the 3060ti’s and added the 3070’s when I signed up for the 3060’s in February. Had I known the shortage would last this long and how much your budget increases when frustration is added, I would have signed up for the 3080’s as well.

I've come to the conclusion that the Newegg shuffle is kind of a... scam. You compare the prices to the MSRP on the cards and they rarely match up (that or they're just really high end cards) and often you're forced to buy a bundle that includes some expensive item that you don't want/need. I'm not really sure that forcing people to buy something they don't want is really doing us any favors. Good way to move inventory though. I've still been checking it every day, but I get the feeling when I finally see an affordable 3060 ti or a 3070 on there it's going to come bundled with a 400 dollar computer case... not that couldn't use a new case.

I’ve entered the Shuffle 25 or 30 times, selecting any card/bundle under $900 and still haven’t won the chance to buy anything. Newegg put up a “Open Box Special” water cooled 6800XT today on their regular site that cost $500 more than their own new price. They are getting ridiculous.

I've tried double figures too with no luck. Atleast initially you could enter for the cards only and now the bundles are indeed ridiculous. If the bundle was for a psu even that'd be fine but mostly it's expensive motherboards

Surely when we get our chance of a graphics card they will be classed as new OLD stock. Seems we are being told newer cards are on the horizon by the manufacturers . Just a thought.

At this point I'm wondering if the Ti turns out to be true, that Evga release a FTW3 and it's the same size/fitment as the 3080/90 in terms of cooler so that I can use my already aquired waterblock on it, then if I can get in the queue early I might get a card before the waterblock becomes obsolete LOL

The Newegg Shuffle became terrible in late March They were selling and Aorus water block with a high end mobo a z490 for 3200 usd . I picked it and figured buying the highest end might work. No go. I missed every shuffle in April and since April 15th only would pick the 2 or 3 most expensive deals and I still don't get picked. but eth mining hit its alltime high on Thursday so it looks like major farms are getting their cards. https://etherscan.io/chart/hashrate

Enniox Is there any way to know my position in the queue? If not, how long do i have to wait approximately?
