I think the facts I alluded to are being disregarded. I'm not saying EVGA is being greedy. I'm saying the optics of delivering zero cards in many high-end skews for 7 months looks unethical, as if they were being greedy, because that increase of $70, while not a lot, and far from what others have done, can't help but feel dirty because it is in the the neighborhood of $1M. I'm not saying the price increase is too much, I'm saying I feel done wrong by there being zero cards delivered in high-end skews, ZERO.

If you go back in the pages you will see these have not moved since early October, some have not moved at all since this thread's inception. Zero is a hell of a number, scratch that, it isn't a number. It is zero. In 7 months it is zero. If after April 16th we do get movement, then that is even dirtier. Each one of these skews represent a few $mil profit each of waitlisters and more in realized sales. I'm not trying to be ungrateful. I want to be loyal. I want to think kind things. I want to have empathy. I already think low of other brands. I know the other brands are ran by POS. I get that even after the price hike, EVGA will still be the best deal with best service, but zero in 7 months is getting kind crazy, and when you see what have been delivered everywhere else and even by EVGA to retail and SIs, damn it makes me salty. Fricking zero.

This has been covered here and tacitly confirmed by an EVGA employee in another thread. The lower end SKU's are out there. They are being shipped to other retailers is all. This sort of thing happens ALL the time in retail.
 
1) Shipping a retailer an exclusive SKU gives EVGA a window into how, how often, where, and by whom they are being sold. If a large quantity of a certain SKU ends up on eBay, for example, EVGA will know exactly who to start with when they investigate.
2) EVGA is able to satisfy quotas with retailers while keeping the top end cards in house. Retailers don't get to pick and choose which SKU's they get, and there is nothing wrong with that.
 
There are other side benefits, like retailers getting to advertise their "exclusive" item. That's not happening here, but it happens a lot. You tend to hear it more often when shopping for certain items like mattresses. The sales person will be quick to point out that "this particular model is only being sold by us". A negative for consumers is that it makes it more difficult to shop around and compare it with similar items when it is only being sold by one retailer. With graphics cards, it's easy enough to see why the FTW costs a little more than the Black. With mattresses it's not nearly as obvious. The extra $100 you're paying might be for a different label is all.
 
For those who only signed up for the cheapest SKU's that are not moving, consider it a learning moment. Don't limit your options for no good reason, especially when there is a lack of information like there was in this case. It was known from day 1 that there were going to be production problems that would extend into Q2 2021, and this was Nvidia's prediction back in August 2020. It now appears that it might be even worse, but we will have to wait and see. Consumers are the lowest of the low. TSMC doesn't care about us right now, not when Mercedes is on the other line complaining about production delays costing them millions of dollars in addition to delaying vehicle shipments. They have bigger fish to fry at the moment and we all need to understand that. There is no conspiracy. It's just an unlikely chain of events that resulted in a bottleneck. Y'all must realize that in the time you have been sitting on your asses waiting for the queue to move, you could have taught yourself how to write your own bot and scored a GPU through Best Buy. It's not as hard as you think. I'm just pointing out that there are ways to expedite the process if you are motivated and don't want to pay a scalper.

Funny how one person's mistake can cause such a stir...  Speaking of (causing a) stir, this is one of the primary reasons why I don't care for the spreadsheet.  People are careless and usually prone to mistakes or reporting downright incorrect information.

That's unlikely today.  At best my guess is it hits near 9:35:00 today, +- 15 s.  It's possible you might still see it this week, but don't get down if it is next week.  You're definitely close.
