I know EVGA finally started shipping out 3090 FTW3 Ultra cards yesterday.

They did huh? I like how they could ship a single card and say "hey some are going out," and we're supposed to accept that.

..and this is EXACTLY why this spreadsheet exists. If you looked at the spreadsheet, you'd see they have shipped out yesterday up to position 18 on that 3090 FTW3 Ultra list, so at least that many went out yesterday alone, plus all the people who did not add themselves to the spreadsheet. If you are say #25, you can expect an email possibly today.

I bet the que gets almost wiped out late October/Early November. There are rumors that Nvidia is going to flood the market once AMD shows their hand. Its rumored that they are going to release 300K of inventory. Not sure if that is 3080s only or if that's 3080s and 3070s. Either way it should help everyone get their hands on on a 30 series card.

Yeah I've heard that too, and EVGA have recently said that production is definitely ramping up, and the spreadsheet should prove that true or not in time.

I'm not even remotely questioning why the spreadsheet exists. I like the spreadsheet. I've never argued against the spreadsheet. So how about you stick to arguing with someone else.

I'm simply reminded of HOW BAD THIS LAUNCH IS, and commented accordingly.

Ok great, misunderstood you obviously. Yeah I think NVidia really screwed up, but not entirely unexpected - there's never enough supply to meet demand on every new release, just this one is particularly bad ..you'd think they'd learn, right? Nope. This is not an issue EVGA created; all AIBs are limited to what NVidia supplies to them, and I think EVGA in particular have done a great job making a work-around to try to combat the scumbot scalpers and the lack of supply.

This sheet is pointless now.
If we're still using this sheet to attempt to track cards by the time the queue gets to October people, we may as well move along. It's either going to be 2021 at this point or supply will drastically increase and the queue will become necessary. Either way I don’t see the point in tracking it any longer personally.

That's your opinion, but certainly not mine or many many others. The entire point of the spreadsheet is to see what people have received their emails so far so you get some indication of how far along you are.. for example, the 3080 FTW3 Ultra shows people up to position 92 already receiving emails to buy their card as recently as yesterday afternoon (10/15), so if you're at position 100, you're probably going to get an email today. A lot of people have found it really helpful, including me, as I know EVGA finally started shipping out 3090 FTW3 Ultra cards yesterday. It also helps to know if you are about due to receive an email so you can check your junk mail if it doesn't appear, or double check if you used a different email address for notification.

In time it will become 'pointless' as stock catches up to the end of the lists, but we are clearly nowhere near that point right now.

Indeed, this is great recon!  thank you for your help!  if someone doesn't see the value, then opt out.

Long story short, this shouldn't be the place to ask someone else to add you to an external spreadsheet.  I want actual information I can use, like when people got an email and the date/time they did notify me.  Or info like the EU queue that affects the US queue.

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2020/10/16 07:08:56 (permalink)
I signed notify on September 22nd 6:00am for a 3080 FTW3 Ultra: I'm not expecting to receive my email until at least December or January.

The way I see it it will probably take EVGA at least another month to get out of September 17th/18th.

Jacob saying previously that people wouldn't have problems getting a card in October was obviously not going to happen (I never really believe it): I love the guy and I really appreciate what he's doing, but there's no way this gigantic mess will be resolved until at the very least January/February 2021, and getting a card won't get ''easier'' until at least end of November/December I think.

Just trying to be realistic here instead of false hopes.

I been browsing the reddit pages, and saw that customers in EU were reporting that their notifications for cards were being removed. I have checked mine which I also live in the UK and I can confirm that the notification for the FTW 3 3080 for the 2nd October and several other products has been removed. What gives evga? We have asked for a update for when the queuing system would begin in the EU region since last week and everyone here from the Europe has the question and we have not received a update as yet. And now to add insult to injury you have now begun removing auto-notifications. I get that stock is very low across the board, but I think just to have the decency to kept in the loop with whats happening would be nice. As now we are just left to speculate when the next shipment of cards will be coming. All we ask is just a update for EU and other regions please thanks

I would make the assumption they split the list for EU in preparation for the EU specific queue.  EVGA has been nothing but upfront and helpful during this mess.  I wouldn't panic just yet, plenty of indications of an EU queue coming soon.

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2020/10/16 08:14:54 (permalink)
Folks seriously. It's not that difficult to add yourself to a Google spreadsheet.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FQupXX51TEgUaP4kIZIxVAMkYNDVzwaRbGikv7bGBgY/htmlview?pli=1&pru=AAABdVFw9-4*TnzbPXWli4niRzScNdh7FA#

Go to the "Editable" tab and follow the instructions.

Copy the last row, paste it in the next empty row and edit the row you just pasted to reflect your card type, sign up date/time and discord tag. That's it. You're now officially added to an unofficial spreadsheet that's only as good as the info that's been entered. It's useful in the general sense that it gives you a rough idea how the queue is progressing.

If you can't copy/paste that just means more than 100 people have the spreadsheet open.

Yeah At one time I had requests in for all of them but removed the others. Like most everyone here I would take any of them in that list. My GTX 980 SC was purchased in 2014 so I am way overdue for a new card. I bought the new Samsung Odyssey G7 32" and can't play Warzone at the resolution I want.

I hope folks can stop asking to be added to the sheet, it just adds to the noise. Add yourself, it takes 5 seconds if you can use a keyboard you can add yourself. I'd rather just read about folks getting cards and news from EVGA themselves about shipments. Too much noise.

Can you explain what you mean?  I thought the thread got locked for constantly referencing the spreadsheet and asking for the link.  From this, it sounds like you are saying people that are complaining about the spreadsheet and the endless requests actually are the ones who got the sheet locked.  I think we need some guidance here and then everyone can follow the rules.

I am no moderator and quite new here, so likely my opinion means very little.  I simply enjoyed the news of others receiving cards, along with evga news.  The constant asking of the spreadsheet clutters the quality of the thread.  Don't get me wrong I like the spreadsheet.  I read the instructions, added myself, and its done.  I use it as a relative reference, realizing that many aren't signed up, so its not guaranteed accurate.  In the end if they don't want us to reference the link, I would encourage us not too, so we can continue to receive news and congratulate people on receiving an email and placing an order.
