I've been like 6 hours away since last tuesday for a 3080 and just simply no movement. I was absolutely certain I was getting an email last week but nothing. Getting anything else is essentially zero chance. I love and appreciate EVGA having a queue but it's all in the dark on where things stand...

I have been less than 2 hours away for the last 4 weeks on a 3060Ti. You might be waiting awhile.

Go ahead, but it's not like that queue flows like water either.  They drop what seems like once every 3-4 weeks.  It moves somewhat faster based on historically lower sign-ups, but I think that's already clogged up more in the last couple of months as people became a little more sensitive to waits vs cost and the narrative that the KPE moves really fast.  If you signed up today, I'd guesstimate your wait time would still be over four months on the optimistic side.  I'm early January there, and I am at least two drops away from possibly getting the notify.  Maybe late April or early May if things go well.  Is it better than Christmas?  Sure.  Is it fast?  Not at this point.  Better off to get in early on any future card drops.

You can try to make an order again with different card. I doubt that EVGA will send you two cards(if both orders will successful) - they will send one and refund another.

It is a lottery.  I knew this guy from Sudan, and he won that lottery.  He had the most amazing stories.  Many of them about Yemen, because he taught there before winning the US immigration lottery.  One of the most humble people I ever met.  So yes, I agree.  It is worth discussing, and I am not totally opposed to letting the people who fuel this thread tangent a little.  Still, if we police ourselves a little better, the less moderators have to get involved.  I appreciate where your comparison was going.  It's just sometimes where those things can branch to that can get a little dicey.  Maybe I'll make a couple of threads called "salt" and "great books".  See if those threads pass the mod sentry wall.  ;)
 
Probably not, as only one has something, in not a positive way sometimes, to do with the business of eVGA.  For sure though, let's redirect ourselves.  Seems better than the alternative.

3898 will be another 1-2 weeks. 3888 still has no ETA after almost 4 months, so just assume its not being produced.

I thought we'd get other SKUs but nope. Jacob has said the he didnt see any blockages because of that Suez cannal blockage for a week. Just feels like a desert now for drops.

Saw that tweet, too. I thought he had previously said we would get another shipment at the end of the month but something must have happened to delay that a couple of weeks. Oh well, at least it's still being made unlike 3888 lol

Jesus, the 3897 is getting shafted so hard these past 2 weeks ****...........
