I read somewhere in this thread that EVGA excepts only US credit card? I hope that's not true, can someone please make this 100% clear and confirm. The exchange happens during transaction so I don't see that been an issue, did someone made that up

So, I have an issue... Back on October 7th, 1:24M EST, I received an email from EVGA titled: "[Notice] EVGA Product Availability Update Notification – 10G-P5-3897-KR"  Note in the email snip above, it states you have 5 hours from the time of the email to complete the purchase.. On the EVGA website, it states 8 hours from the time of the email to complete the purchase. When I first received the email, I did miss the 5 hour window, and my link did not work.. But I was well within the 8 hour window. So, what's going on here? Did it recently change to 8 hours?

Well it really depends now doesn't it, they're just queuing by email. It's quite likely they're also uniquing on shipping address. second email account inputs the same PO box "sorry that household has already ordered a unit". Could also be checking IP addresses signing up the email addresses. Lot's of validation they can do that we might not see obviously just from the fact that they're using emails as their unique key in their FIFO queue per product they've got going on here. I really see this is a great innovation, if obvious, and while it's probably not going to solve the bot/scalper problem entirely, I think it's like most security, layering protections. This is but one and it will certainly be an ongoing war. -O
