Warfield2 Question about the queue here. I missed the drop on one of my cards Friday because I wasn't expecting it. Based on the linked document, the queue for that card was still very early on 11/6 where as my notify was created 11/7. As if yesterday the document still shows queue times as being 11/6 for the 3070 XC3 so I was very surprised (and frankly, angry) to see that my notify had apparently come and went on Friday while I had a very busy day if work at school before leaving for spring break. Completely missed my 8hr window. I do have a 2nd notify for the FTW3 but I was really hoping to get both to update my son's PC as well.
Is it typical to see the document be several days out of sync like that?
Spreadsheet is trash (mostly). Refer to enewt's daily last notify report. If you truly did miss the mail, people have had luck with emailing EVGA and explaining the situation. Good luck.

Urobulus I was thinking: not saying it will happen but can you imagine how wrong it would be if we start seeing some serious increase in queue movement shortly after April 16th? EVGA would lose my business forever if that happens that's for sure. Again not saying it will happen, but it's just in the back of my mind constantly considering the age we live in and how greedy and wrong most of the companies are nowadays, trying to milk their customers down to the last pennies as much as possible...
That is next level evil, for a company to willing grandfather in queue prices, only to give the illusion of caring about the customer. It is not impossible, but I refuse to believe EVGA would implement a queue system, grandfather prices, and only hike their prices $70 per card in one big elaborate scheme to garner gamers' favor. If this was the case, I would have to put them well past the other AIBs, who consistently, blatantly, and unapologetically bend the consumer over to profit at all costs.
I hope you guys are right then. I've seen the greedy, evil, scammy practices of plenty of companies like EA, Ubisoft, MSI, etc and it seems that it keeps spreading more and more with the years. It's not uncommon anymore for a companies to turn around and just care about profits no matter the cost to their reputation. Let's hope EVGA will not join the ranks too eventually, although it wouldn't surprise me quite frankly considering the trends for the past couple of years.

subdude I removed the chat person's last name just in case, and I don’t know what physically traveling to the nearest BB and speaking to someone in person would do anyhow *shrugs*. Oh well, wished I knew someone near a MC, but I don’t I’m way off the queue subject anyhow lol
Linus xxxxxxx(21:57:50 GMT) : Thank you for the link :) Visitor (21:57:59 GMT) : s'all good Linus xxxxxxxx (21:58:25 GMT) : May I have 2-4 minutes of your time, while I check the eligibility for the price match? Visitor (21:58:36 GMT) : why yes, yes you can ;) Linus xxxxxxx (21:58:50 GMT) : Thank you. Visitor (21:59:08 GMT) : no no, thank YOU *points in Linus' general direction* Linus xxxxxxxx (21:59:33 GMT) : Thank you for staying connected. Visitor (22:00:37 GMT) : omg Linus you're killing me w/suspense lol Linus xxxxxxx (22:01:12 GMT) : I am sorry to inform you that the product in the competitors link, the price of the product is only for instore purchase, so we will not be able to honor the price match online, I would request you to visit the near by Best buy store, our team will check and help you regarding the price match.
I'll send you a PM. I live about 2 hours from one. I usually go in every other weekend, but I hurt my foot running yesterday, so I don't know how I'll feel about a 2 hr drive. Hopefully it's better by then! Really hurting me right now. 🙁
If you're offering to scope out a MC and mail a card, I'll gladly pay price of GPU plus a good amount on top for your time in doing so for any 3080 or 3090.
Appreciate the offer, but I have already camped over night (as in starting around 7pm the night before) six or seven times in front of that microcenter trying to get a 3080, and I still have no 3080. I've given up on that, but they usually have good stock of Intel CPUs. I was just planning to see if I could pick one up for him on a regular trip to MC. I'm not planning on camping out anymore, even though I want a 3080 myself. 🙁
I did get my 3060 yesterday from EVGA, and it is a beautiful card. It's small, too, so it can be used in a lot of smaller cases with ease. Doesn't need a monster power supply either. Very efficient!
Congrats on the 3060 at least! And can't really blame you for not wanting to do so, never know until you ask though.

The card is a good few days beyond its original launch date. The queue will move faster now. I would get in touch with EVGA by responding the email/call to see if you can get it.

If EVGA wanted to charge you "new" pricing for the queue cards, they'd just charge you the new pricing right now. What are you going to do, go join MSI's queue? They wouldn't nefariously hold back stock until April and hope you don't find another card before that. Slap another $100 on that puppy, push it out the door and know that, even if you passed on it, someone's going to buy it the moment it's on the market. There is literally no benefit to them conspiring to hold back stock until the April price increase.

The spreadsheets are inaccurate a plurality of the time. If you auto-notifies indicate that you should have received an Invite to Purchase email (or you did receive an email) but missed the eight hour window, you can try to rehabilitate your queue position by doing the following: (1) reply to the email (it should have come from ordernotify@evga.com) (or if you cannot find the email, send a fresh email to that address) and indicate your desire to purchase the card. (2) call EVGA customer service during their working hours (9 am to 6 pm Weekdays (excluding EVGA holidays)): 1.888.881.EVGA (3842) (3) they should be able to locate your original registration, confirm that the queue has reached your registration and reissue you a new email with a new link to purchase your card. It might take a day or so for them to confirm on-hand inventory and issue the replacement email. Please be vigilant about checking your in-box, whitelist ordernotify@evga.com with your preferred email client, and do not panic about the 8 hour window. EVGA will get you sorted. Best of luck!

Friends friends! best of luck today! May the queue gods smile down upon us :) Musing of the minute: I really don't get all of the energy spent on the price increase. It's pretty obvious that the public values these cards over their msrp. I'd happily and eagerly pay the website prices here and now if given the chance to purchase a beloved hybrid (or pretty much anything else) I think most folks in this thread would too. (that part is speculative) Anywhoo, let's see what Tuesday has in store for us. Best of days to you all1

Exactly... and there is a cost to holding onto inventory for months, likely more than the $70 "extra" they will make April 16th.

Thank you Nick and enewt, I went ahead and sent an email and will see what happens. Hopefully I can get the XC3 sorted but I'm glad I have more than one notify for my son and I. I've used EVGA cards since my first PC build in high school up to my 1070 now. Absolutely worth the wait for me, but can't deny I wasn't just a bit upset and very angry at missing the window and just the current.... situation with the cards overall. Just kinda let it go at first but I'm glad to hear there might be a chance still.

@enewt Can you please share the latest info on the hydro coppers... I know they started shipping out to the original-short list of notifyees recently, but any info (even the best guesstimate if that's all we have) in regards to opening up notify list again for the Hydro Coppers etc? Thanks,

The current queue is made up from folks who got in during that approximately 25 minute window. When EVGA begins to service that last of that tranche/cohort, they should turn on the "auto-notify" button again to obtain additional registrations for a "tranche 2". They had a similar process for the Hybrids and for the Kingpin. I would continue to monitor this thread and this Twitter account: https://twitter.com/EVGA_JacobF?s=20. Given that the current queue is limited to just those from that ~25 minute window, you are not as far back in this queue as you would be in any other queue that has had its auto-notify button lit this whole time. If that is any consolation.... Best of luck!

Even if that happen it may just be when supply increases. Either way if you wouldn't pay $70 more vs $500-2000 more on ebay then I'm sure what to say to you. $70 higher to adjust for tariffs is still way cheaper then other other options. who cares.
