I definitely mashed the auto-notify buttons the second the 3080 launched, even amidst the server load, however, my notification list doesn't show any history of these. After reading this post and checking my notification list, and seeing nothing there, I quickly went ahead and re-clicked the auto-notifies to get (back) in line.
 
I saw Jacob mention in the OP about someone asking about duplicate submissions, with Jacob clarifying that the earlier submission is what would count. But what happens if one's auto-notify list didn't show any prior submissions? Does that mean my original auto-notifies were lost or never counted? Or is it possible those are still registered and counted, they're just not reflected on this new notify list functionality? Thanks!

I was unable to add myself the last time I tried.

I'm in a similar boat. Myself and about a dozen or so team members were all up and trying to get a 3090 on launch morning. We all did the same thing, hit auto-notify then tried to get through the checkout process. My notify time isn't showing up until oddly almost midnight my time, two nights later. I'm just shrugging, and attributing it to the multitude of server and site issues from that morning.

Have they started this for Europe yet?

Unnecessary. This is the card everyone is talking about. Any other model is weeks or months away. 

Congrats to everyone who got their cards so far!  From the spreadsheet I'm seeing no a lot of people notified for the 3090 XC3 Ultra (taking the data as a representation of the whole).  I'm hoping they can knock those out relatively quickly once they get around to the 3090s.

I missed my 8 hour window to order by 5 mins. I placed a notify on 17/09/20. 8 hours wasn’t enough time. I went to place the order and mid way through the link went invalid.

I’m at 9/17 7:37am so I’m certainly going to be in the next drop. Serious question to everyone, what keeps those of you in late September and October even slightly motivated to stay in this fight? Jacob said today’s drop was big and we made less than 10 minutes. Do you not feel that late September early October is months away? Especislly how Nvidia is now in limbo between Samsung and TSMC for their chips.

I'm a 10/06 7.53am sign up, as I wasn't aware of anyone taking orders like this at launch, just figured we'd have to fight it out.

I expect it'll be the end of year if later before I hear anything about the one model I put a request in for (FTW Ultra? The 800.00 model...).

I will wait if I have to, I worked my ass off to be able to finally reward myself with a nice piece of hardware, and I will have it.

That said, if I'm able to find any model available in any way for 950.00 or less before I get my notification, I will buy it.
Which really, it sucks to have to make that justification. I'll be willing to pay 150+ over MSRP just to have one of these things due to how badly nVidia dropped the ball on this launch.

It's a bit dismaying to see how little progress is being made through this queue with each drop, yet I get it as well. EVGA have obligations to get boards out to retailers and build partners as well.

What really hurts is seeing YouTube channels like Gamers Nexus with 5 or 6 different models of these GPU's, and then watching them just tear them down.

I'll not be jumping ship to AMD though. While I've only used their CPU's for any of my builds, and their GPU hardware does tend to be rather beastly, I loathe their drivers/software.
One experience with them was enough to never want another one of their GPU's.

I am hoping a lot of people that have signed up for notifications here do decide that the wait just isn't worth it and hop over to AMD or on the 3070 train, if only to expidate getting my 3080, haha.
