My guess is, the effect of Chinese New Year is going to have a delayed effect.  In other words, the cards produced before and up to the break still have to make their way to EVGA.  So, if the production lapses for a couple weeks, you will see that shortage not immediately.  Again, just my guess not knowing squat about global logistics.

i dont know where EVGAs supply lines are, so if they do it out of east asia then theres probably a delay. but if they do it in east asia then no delay is already happening. however this also means that if they do it out of asia and there is a delay of 2+ weeks, then you can say at the tail end of chinese new year there will also be a delay of 2+ weeks which means even longer waiting periods.

2 weeks + by boat. So there must be some on boats as I type. We will feel that delay feb 15th to march 1 or 2

There is about 30 ftw3 cards here at microcenter in st louis right now.

They are showing 8 in stock.  They are supposed to open at 10am?  Are you an employee?  It's only 9:40am.  Or, are you in line, outside? 

I am pumping concrete atm or i would be up there and standing in line. I just messaged them again and asked if the 30 was accurate or if that was all cards together.

BTW, someone doesn't know how to add their entry times to the bottom of the "Editable" tab on the spreadsheet (and doesn't know how to follow instructions either). They changed the column name on the Username column AND sorted it. Spreadsheet is useless in its current state and needs to be restored to 30 January, 00:54

Got my hands on my XC3 Ultra from the Best Buy drop.  Very happy with performance as now I get around 60fps with max settings in Cyberpunk on my G9 monitor.  Temps up in the 70s is a bit higher than I like and the noise level is a bit too much for my liking when ramped up, even with undervolting and a custom curve.

Since I got a 10% BB discount for my birthday month I went ahead and ordered a hybrid kit.  Not knowing how long the queue is I did not want to wait.  I also had issues with a 280mm CPU AIO I tried to install this weekend.  With the kit I can make sure it fits well before starting the upgrade process.

Used your code enewt, and initially it said it was not valid for this product.  When I got my receipt I was happy to see it was actually accepted and almost paid for the shipping.  Keep up the good work and supporting us all in our journey by tracking the queues as best you can.  Same for the rest of you that are here helping out the community in this thread, you are the shining beacons in this time of sickness and shortages.

Out of curiosity, when was the last time a 3888 dropped? Was looking back in the forums but didn't see a change in the last few weeks.

I think the last drop was in December but I could be misremembering. the longer the wait, the more this feels like another dead queue.

I am struggling a bit this morning on the motivation front. Perhaps it is because I have run out of my personal supply of marshmallows (there are still too many of us lacking cards for actek23's generous supply to go around (shame on you NVIDIA)), and graham and chocolate, alone, are simply insufficient for my s’mores requirements...fireside. Or, the cold weather has sapped a bit of my warmth when I climb back up to my preferred spot on the wall. Regardless, I will simply say it is Wednesday and each of us deserves to get his/her desired card today. Full stop.
 
I’ll regroup and hopefully be back tonight with some more ridiculous thoughts and musings, but in the meantime, try to keep the faith...find things outside of our watch that have meaning to you and lean into them...be that work, friends, family (call your parents), pets, kids (not in this order)...something. Be present for that; I promise you it is more important. Most of the rest of us...hopefully not all of us...will still be here when you check back.

Can someone explain to me how to found out my position in the queue of "EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING, 10G-P5-3897-KR" ??
I submitted my notification request for "10G-P5-3897-KR" on "1/23/2021 11:12:05 AM PT" but I can't seem to understand where and how to find out my chances?
I'm outside the US now on a GMT+2 time zone and I'm afraid of losing the time slot of buying it while I'm outside the US.

dont worry you have enough time to go around the world, take a vacation and come back. The queue is still stuck at  ppl  who lined up last year.

Note that there should be a period of exponential growth before a new linear pattern forms if production of this card remains constant. This leads me to think the upper limits could be dec/jan if production increase and lunar new year has little effect. However, if the lunar new year does cause production delays i suspect the blue line is the worst case scenario and orange line is the most likely scenario.

While we are spreading positivity for cards let’s get those nice 4K high refresh monitors to finally go on sale so we have nice gpus to hook up to them haha

OK I just got off the phone with them. They saw 30 EVGA cards there. They don’t know why it is reporting only eight. They still have stock also. I’m trying to get this stupid concrete job done so I can get up there and grab one. If I get one I will sell it to one of you for cost. I’m just going to be happy with my 1080 TI until one of my notifications come up. My case isn’t exactly ready yet. I am redoing all of my water cooling I have the Thermaltake Core X5 it’s a monstrous case and I want to add a whole lot more water cooling to it. And I see them because I don’t want anyone to know if it’s a he or she working there I do not want them in trouble. But they said there is still about 12

I would love one! I'm just at a weird spot now where I want one as soon as possible, but at the same time, if I wait until my queue spot is called, the supply will be better by then and hopefully they'll launch the 3080 Ti and I will be able to join the step up queue for that. Although I'm sure even when that does launch, I'll still be able to sell my 3080 no problems, but I'd prefer to do it all through EVGA.
