Really looks to be a bad joke, as it appears as though the 3080FTW Ultra has moved what ...maybe 2 days in the last 3 weeks, from what I have seen.
 
By the time this Card is available we'll be anticipating the RTX 4 Series !! Although I still see pages upon pages on ebay (scalpers, so there still getting there mitts on them).....this release has been an absolute disaster....never have I seen a 4 month waiting list for a GPU....crazy!
 

Actually they moved 2 days in the past 5 months... Yup it's that pathetic.
 
And regarding the RTX4 series: I've been saying it since last year that they won't be able to fulfill everyone waiting in the queue here before nVidia announce the 40xx cards and a lot of people either laughed at me or thought it was ridiculous.
 
But as you can see it's clearly happening slowly...
 
Calling this launch a disaster is putting it lightly: I never saw such a mess in 40+ years on any product release, and no it's not just because of COVID, most of it is because of the incompetence from both nVidia and EVGA on many levels.

And I'm just over here waiting for an announcement on the 3080 Ti Hahahahahaha xD

I'm very disappointed with that as well.

This is way out of control, think I'm gonna bit the bullet and just buy from a scalper, I have a couple grand in new PC build, and its gonna be out dated before getting a GPU. 

I still refuse to buy from scalpers, but I started to use 2 simple bots to at least give me a chance to grab one. People that are not scalping have to use whatever means necessary I guess to get a card now, otherwise nothing will ever happen since scalpers and such keep getting away with it, and it's very obvious that from now on they will completely control the market for months if not years to come, don't get any idea, it won't get better...

This happened to me the guy I am going to build the evga 3090 wants me to wait for 11 gen intel.

If i had known how close the 11th gen was, I would have waited, started this build back in mid nov, made a few mistakes along the way, 1st not knowing and paying attention to GPU problem, 2nd Intel vs AMD, 3 Having faith that there working on getting GPU's out.

The eBay prices keep going up, too.  Originally, I told myself there was no way I was paying $1200 for a 3080 FTW3 Ultra.  Now I'm looking at them and thinking that $1399 doesn't sound so bad.  It's honestly sad.

thats the way Im starting to feel, funny I shop at micro center, they never have any cards , but yet go online and you see someone selling a card from them with there receipt right next to the card. I posted a bad review and they emailed me about it, they stated they have a wait list and such, I go to Micro center and they tell me no such thing. I passed up a asus 3090 water cooled card all because I didn't see the need for a 3090 and 1000 more than i needed to spend, but now I kick myself in the A**.

I think its either 3070 or 3090.  Simply put its  old gen perf or pay higher for new gen.   Wouldn't be surprised if nvidia releases 3080 ti/super having same perf but more memory and mark it up to $900-$1000.

I think 3080 ti/super development could be a huge reason of lower drops on 3080, seems like some manufacturers leaked few models

For any of the new product launches (RX6000 cards/3000 cards/Zen 3 chips), we would not be able to provide an accurate inventory level as this text line does not go to a store. Our website may show that it is in stock, but those items can actually be reserved for the voucher system we have in place. Our general rule of thumb is if you are not already on the voucher system or in store, they will be sold out before you get there as they are highly wanted by a lot of our customers. Because of this, we recommend our customers to come into the store to get on the voucher system or wait list as this is the best way to get one. I understand that we are in a pandemic, but we allow every customer an equal opportunity to get one and only by coming into the store can this be done. If you do not want to come in during a pandemic, I completely understand, but the option we have for you is to wait until we have more consistent stock. The earliest I can give for this is mid-February, but that is opportunistic at best. With all this being said, I wish you the best of luck on getting a 3080!

The 3080 Ti will of course be a new queue that will allow a few folks to grab a card quickly.

They really need to just say, these cards 3881 and such, are not being made and allow folks to move to a card they might make.

i just find it kind of silly how they have 20-30 skus for 3 tiers of graphics cards. like i get people need to make money. but it ruins the stock and just makes production a harder thing to do, imho. 
its like going to a restaurant, and you have 30 things on the menu. and they are all ok but nothing mind blowing. restaurants that usually focus on niche items and excel at them tend to be better.

I agree, but when I asked one of the employees, they looked at me like I had two heads, and said they never heard of that.

So have been asking if there is a way to see what is going on? do we have an accurate list?

I would just define the list as a guide on where you stand. Statistically, something is only as accurate as the sample size that it relates to, which is not as populous as the amount of people in the queue itself.

Here is my problem... Organization. Is there someone who can speak/write in an authoritative manner how to find if I am on EVGA list? My profile/notify list says "10G-P5-3898-KR 12/16/2020 9:16:44 AM PT NO" but when i look around, i found a complete different list on google.doc... and i am not on that list.  So Enewt... Can you be that person to step and give me the correct detail?
