@enewt, I'm a returning customer to EVGA, but haven't bought any cards from them in about a decade or longer. Trying to set my expectations here. Do you know if EVGA is focusing on filling wholesaler contracts and then releasing anything over and above directly to consumers via the queue? Or are they following some other methodology, or have they just not said?

They haven't said.  My impression is that they are fulfilling the minimum requirements of their existing contractual requirements with their retailers, etailers, OEM partners, etc. and then flowing through the rest of their volumes to the Notify Queue, the Step-Up queue and their RMA needs.  I don't know how that breaks down percentage-wise, but it is in their interest to service us through their online storefront if their infrastructure can manage it.  They will immediately sell every unit they can allocate to the Notify Queue and the margins are better than through retailers/etailers/OEM-builders.

Are the folks going to Microcenter seeing any stock in store and then going, or is it a total crap shoot? None of the ones around me show stock for anything in any state but maybe when you go in, they actually have stuff?
 
Anyway, hooray for more drops today! I can't imagine how wonderful it must feel. 

microcenter's around NYC dropping cards all the time. they just don't always have time to update their POS system with whatever came off the truck. people line up in the morning and clean out cards and CPUs before the employees can scan it into the POS system. i was able to get a 5900x, 5950x, 3090 strix ($1710+tax, last week) and 3080 tuf ($665+tax, late december) even though the website never showed anything in stock. these are for two different builds, btw. 
 
i've seen a bunch of gigabyte, evga and msi cards in stock at various points since december, i didn't buy them because they were all crap. i was waiting for the good stuff

It must be nice living near a Microcenter.. My nearest one is 4 hours away.  The only 'tech' store I have available to me is a Best Buy.  Like other people of have said "I am to old for the F5 game" so the queue is where I sit.  Besides, I haven't seen to many hybrid cards outside of the queue system, not from EVGA anyhow.
