Has anyone from EVGA released any statement about the 3883 (3080 XC3 Gaming) release? As far as I can tell, zero cards have been delivered and it was just a paper launch. Had there been some transparency on launch day, I would have signed up to to notify for an Ultra instead.

Fairly certain 3881s will never be filled. Do not think any have after release day. They really need to offer us to be moved into the next queue. Which should of happened with Hybrids. Also EVGA needs to say what they are doing with 3881, and other forgotten cards.

Yeah, you'll be good to go: 1. You're (relatively) close in the queue. 2. This is one of their largest margin units, so the queue has been moving very steadily. I'd be hard pressed to think you wouldn't make the cut. The 3080's on the other hand.....

Agreed; the 3000 series situation with all AIBs is really bad but the choices EVGA is making set them apart from all the others. EVGA is far from perfect and it's not hard for someone to find things to point a finger at but I can't think of a single thing done by another AIB that was "better" and everything that comes to my mind done by other AIBs is markedly "worse" (including doing nothing at all and near-to-absolute radio silence).

well historically leading up to the new year, Tuesday was always the day when the order would go out. Maybe they are back to that schedule, 1 drop a week.

Nah...its just taking an insane amount of time to fill orders. It sucks. I'm early December for all my queues....don't think I'm making the April 16th cutoff...but hope springs eternal.

Yes, it takes that long. Depending on which card you signed up for, late October is waaaaaay late.

Won't be until after Nvidia announces them, if they do, tomorrow so not likely until next week at the earliest. If the rumors are true it sounds like a 3090 with less memory for significantly less money to undercut the 6900 XT. If the Founder's is $999 or less I'll be getting in the queue as soon as possible on the day it goes live

No "big drop before the holidays!" No "big drop after the holidays to clear out built-up stock!" No "big drop the week after once things are back to normal!" Seems like pretty much nothing for almost a month now besides two or three specific SKUs out of 20. Depressing.

Because of the notification queue the idea of "luck" has nothing to do with it. At points in time EVGA allocates some amount of cards to the notification queue for a given sku and then they contact those people in the order they signed up for the queue and give them a limited opportunity to purchase that card. So in short; you haven't gotten an email about buying your card because they haven't gotten to you in that queue yet. That being said; what sku's EVGA is choosing to produce, when they are produced, in what volumes they are produced and how those production runs for a sku get split up once available (x amount to Newegg, y amount to step-up-queue, z amount to notification queue, etc...) are all things that we've no insight on but that play into how "fast" a given sku queue moves.

So basically they can jerk the queues around even longer to make more money on a product they should have delivered correctly months ago. Like I said before, when you have almost the entire market, you can do whatever you want and nobody can stop you. If they really wanted to do right by their consumers, they would honor EVERYONE who is on the queue because they technically should have been able to purchase a card at msrp when they were introduced. The company dropped the ball and not only is everybody stuck waiting, now they have to pay more.
Deep breaths man. It can be exhausting being mad at things you can't control.

I've been telling people for months, since the 30-series first launched and rumors started of the 3080 Ti etc after AMD's card performance was leaked that there's absolutely no way NVidia would release a refresh & undercut their own profit margins etc in January... looking more and more like I was right.
At the earliest, they're more likely to be in April-June.
