Dear Customer,

Due to ongoing events, EVGA has made price adjustments on the GeForce RTX 30 Series products. This change was necessary due to several factors and will be effective January 11, 2021. EVGA has worked to reduce and minimize these costs as much as possible.

For those who are currently in the EVGA.com Notify Queue system or Step-Up Queue, EVGA will honor the original MSRP pricing through April 16th, 2021 if your purchase position is processed before this date.

Thanks,
EVGA

This is awesome, and one of the reasons I only buy EVGA Nvidia cards.

Thanks!

Respectfully, they couldn't pay me enough money to do what JacobF or his team do on a daily basis.  We, as a community, are not easy.  We are demanding.

And, yet, time and time again...not always, but I would argue, "mostly"...the EVGA team rise to meet or even exceed our expectations.  I have tremendous respect and gratitude for those folks.  But, yeah, their jobs...not for me.

Much respect to you all, thank you for doing this! I guess we all have to cross our fingers for big drops in the coming weeks! Though I guess stock might be ramping up when the GDDR6 ram supply becomes more stable.

Yeah I'm waiting for the Samsung G9 49" Monitor to come back in stock at/around MSRP on Amazon so I can pre-order it from there.  They've had it listed for as low as $1299 recently, I just didn't pull the trigger because I didn't want to be borderline on having the funds ready for the Kingpin if my spot in queue gets called, but thanks to the passage of time, I can get both now if I want to.  Hoping the G9 comes back in stock at the December-low of $1199 but we'll see.

I can't wait for my vertigo to get triggered by that 1000R curve + super ultrawide resolution. lol

I bought this and returned it last month and got the CRG9. It doesn't hit 240 but it overclocks to 144 w/o problems. I know this is a game killer for some but I love this monitor much better, the smaller curve means I can use it for work easier. For me the killer was that the G9 is loud and hot, it has this fan that was louder than my PC and it seemed to only ever go on full or be off. It noticeable heated up the room I was in more so than my PC.

It may have been a bug but some issues that I never read in the reviews.

So basically they can jerk the queues around even longer to make more money on a product they should have delivered correctly months ago.  Like I said before, when you have almost the entire market, you can do whatever you want and nobody can stop you.  If they really wanted to do right by their consumers, they would honor EVERYONE who is on the queue because they technically should have been able to purchase a card at msrp when they were introduced.  The company dropped the ball and not only is everybody stuck waiting, now they have to pay more.

I respectfully disagree.. If anything Nvidia should of delayed release. This is not EVGAs fault... I deal with global enterprise in my job at times and so many things are backed up and delayed that come to the USA/UK. EVGA is doing what they can and are doing a great job of it. They also have contracts with retailers that they must uphold, which is why drops here can be minimal at times.

I believe eVGA is above these practices and I hope that would not happen only time will tell. If this needs to be done to promote their numbers and encourage their executives to sell the cards to us rather than other interested parties (not gamers) potentially paying more for them, I'm all for it.

ASUS and ZOTAC have raised their prices recently... Sure EVGA could have too, but they did something about it and postponed raising them until April, good on EVGA for doing that.

Okay, you go me there.  Nvidia screwed up just as much.  But the problem wasn't the day of release, it was HOW they did it.  They had to know that EVERYBODY was waiting for these cards to drop.  The forums were going nuts about it.  So instead of putting restrictions on what/how many you could buy, they left it completely open.  Which in turn destroyed almost everybody's chance at getting what they wanted.  Even if there would have been a shortage (ex: past releases), there was very little wait to actually pick one up.  But at this point it could take me another 3-6 months to see the card I tried to order at release, then queued up for 9/18.  All for a single card and not even a high end.  Now they want to jack the prices up and it'll cost me an extra $100 for the same card I'll be waiting on for half a year.  So ya, it's not entirely EVGA's fault, but they are just as guilty as every other company out there going through this.  Ultimately it comes down to an extremely bad thought out release process by everybody involved and ultimately the consumers will be the ones to pay in time/cost.

This is my dream monitor right now, waiting for stock to return in order to get one. Regarding the 240hz problem, I had to update the firmware on a friend's g9 to the latest one 1008.1 for his 240hz mode to work properly. With all previous firmware, it would only work correctly on the 120hz mode.

"So ya, it's not entirely EVGA's fault, but they are just as guilty as every other company out there going through this."

This is definitely on nVidia for restricting access to 30-series board specs to the AIBs to prevent leaks. Their paranoia threw a massive wrench in the system which we have already seen causing issues like that one with the capacitors. It's not the AIBs faults that they didn't have the spec in time to ramp up their card production operations. Also, there's a pandemic severely hampering global supply chains on top of the raging bot purchases from scalpers and miners. It's all messed up to be sure and there's a lot of blame, but the blame needs to be spread around. I'm curious what more you think EVGA could've done that they haven't already done by setting up a queued notification system. As far as I know, no other company is doing this. Others have allowed orders to proceed via back-order, but at least with a community self-reporting updates on their respective positions in the queue, we have some idea how EVGA is progressing in fulfilling these orders. On top of that, honoring the MSRP price for those who queued before today's day up until April is a big deal. Again, I don't know of any other company making such accommodations for their customers. I'm sorry you're signed up for a card that's not seeing much movement - that's a real bummer for sure.

Thanks,
EVGA

Thank you so much Jacob!

I have been having all kinds of issues with mine from dead pixels to now it is flickering at random I have all the firm ware updated it just has a lot of QA issues.  Hope they fix the issues soon so I can get the warranty issues fixed.

yeah the QA issues are far and wide, I've even read of people having their screen separate from the rest. I'm really hoping/praying/ willing to sell my soul that samsung fixes them as no other monitor that I know of, offers so much in the same package for the amount of money ( I know it's not cheap). 5210x144p + 240hz qled+ hdr1000 + 10 bit color with dsc 1.4 =

Thanks,
EVGA

Very nice.   Would be great if EVGA would allow us to get on an auto-notify queue for the 3090 Hydro Copper cards so we could take advantage of that 'price freeze' - particularly for the upcoming K|ngP|n Hydro Copper.

I think that ship has sailed with respect to the Hydro Copper.  Folks signing up to any queues today and going forward are not going to get the 2020 prices.

Sadly, it appears you are correct.

With the only cards within grasp seeming to be the Hybrid 3090 i really didn't want i pulled myself out of all queues and ordered a prebuilt with a 5900x/RX6900.

Didn't really want to do that either but such is the situation we're in with this nonsense.

Thank you, Jacob - hopefully I am able to purchase the two cards I've been trying to get (one for me, one for my son) prior to the 4/16 date.  Either way, kudos to EVGA for honoring the original notification request price for the next ~ 4 months.
