Toieo Managed to find the KP list, pretty cool.. wonder how accurate it is since it requires participation from the community. Looks like there’s a list of about 100 still waiting. On one hand seems like a long list to get through, on the other hand, 100 cards aren’t that many when you look at the scale of of mass production.
Need to get through this 100 post thing and get my name on that list.
I speculate that the KPE self-reported queue is approximately 33% to 50% of the total registrants. Unlike the other queues, registrants need to have qualified as an "Elite member" which makes them more likely to frequent these forums and find the KPE threads. Again, that's my speculation...and I may be way off. soulpatch321 Okay, so according to that, I should be getting a notification fairly soon then. Since I hit the list (9/18) for a 3080 XC3 Black. I've completely built a new system, and am just waiting on the upgrade from a 1070 to the 3080.
Best of luck this week!

Lmao. I am 4:30 on 9/16 (3080 Black) and have yet to get a notification. You aren’t getting a 3881 any time soon. Fairly soon meaning 6 months form now.

mhamilto Purchased a 3080 FTW3 Ultra directly from EVGA through the auto-notify signup. Received the notice, paid online to EVGA, then Customs brokerage, and received my new card within 3 days from California to Ontario, Canada. Installed it easily, added a 3rd 8 pin cable, and hooked up my 4 monitors. I use my system for flight simulation (MSFS 2020 and X-Plane). This new card replaces 2 6-year-old GTX970's. I run the program on a 72" Samsung TV in 4K, with the other 3 monitors in HD for auxiliary programs (map, chatter, GPS). The resolution is superb, the framerate is excellent at 30FPS compared to under 10FPS before. Most settings are Ultra or High. No stutters at all. A great purchase. A great purchase!
Yes, buying a $700+ graphics card so you can run a game at 30fps. What is the world we live in
FS 2020 is very playable at 30 FPS.

Absolutely, A flight sim is is fine at 30 FPS, MSFS20 is really picky about settings, one little thing can move the FPS a ton.

I would assume because the Kingpin is a niche card that the list for the Kingpin is much more accurate than any other queue list on the site that has individuals listed, but I would also say that it's probably still missing around half the people that actually signed up. Maybe I'm wrong, we'll see when the next drop hits, I'm around 40th for the "next up", so if we get a decent sized drop, it should either hit me or go way past me, depending on how accurate the list is.

Pretty sure you're right. Not even on the Kingpin queue listing. So ya, odds are good it'll be another few months before anything happens. Really sucks and I can't believe how badly the release was mismanaged like this. I used to handle multi million dollar projects in the automotive industry and my @ss would have been terminated if something like this happened. But when you pretty much own the market, you can get away with just about anything. if I hadn't have already picked up the EK water block I'd consider giving up all together. As it stands I'm pretty much stuck waiting now.

Well if you're specifically queuing for the Kingpin, it shouldn't be months. Maybe a month, if you queue now, but not more than 2. JacobF did say we're expecting Hybrid drops, including a Kingpin one, this coming week (tomorrow thru Friday) sometime. Hopefully he ends up being right, but that of course likely depends on when the boat gets here etc so to speak. One would assume if he's fairly confident we're getting those drops this week, that they're already in port & have been processed or are being processed to get to eVGA's warehouse in Cali.

I hope the hybrid drop is more substantial than my gut is telling me it's going to be. Being only 7 minutes away in the queue is giving me hope, but seeing as some queues only move around a couple minutes when there's supposed to be a big drop makes me doubt lol

If you don't know who Kingpin is and why he has a GPU with his name on it, Google is your friend - in summary, he's one of the world's top overclockers, currently works for eVGA, designs their highest-end GPUs of each generation, which is why the 3090 K|ngp|n exists and is pretty much the only card in the top 10 of the LN2/overall world record leaderboards for Port Royal. His real name is Vince, but "K|ngp|n" is the handle/tag he has gone by since way back in the day. The list is located in the NA 3090 Kingpin queue thread here: https://forums.evga.com/EVGA-GeForce-RTX-3090-KNGPN-Unofficial-AutoNotify-Confirmation-List-m3152026-p80.aspx and the queue list itself of people that have self-registered as being in queue for one is available in the link via Enewt's signature, and on the first page of that thread.

I'm just hoping we get a nice set of drops before eVGA hikes their prices like every other retailer has. It's a matter of time now, and I'd very much like to get my Kingpin for $1999 base price before discounts/shipping etc than $2100+.

Ahem, cough, cough TiN. Illya Tsemenko I tried to upload a picture from the XDevs site but it was blocked. It's this great shot of him in front of a wall full of oscilloscopes, etc. IIRC he no longer works for EVGA but he was Kingpin's partner in crime for many years. He's also the one with the engineering background. Kingpin is the best GPU overclocker in the world. But he's not an engineer. It seems this forum is really picky about links. But there is a Youtube video where Steve from Gamer's Nexus visits Kingpin and Tin's lab in Taiwan. He's like a kid in a candy store, it's great. Highly recommended. Sn8ke_iis

jurban84 Is the EU queue working? Anybody tracking it? I haven't checked on this thread since October.
Yes BovineGamer is tracking it. He posts an update every few weekdays or so. He also has a separate thread in the forums that is specific to the EU queue. Good luck!
Able to link that eu queue thread? Cannot find it :/
I posted a week or so ago some comments on the EU queue. I have my suspicions on the actual movement/functionality of it. is it working even? BovineGamer (and one/two others?) have done a nice job on that speadsheet, but part of my concerns is in relation to the 3090 FTW3 Ultra. On the north American queue this is currently up to 1st week in Oct - which while it doesn't sound like a lot in temporal difference, it's probably *a lot* of cards which have shipped out. The same queue on the EU side is still back on Sept 24th with *zero* confirmed sends in the spreadsheet. I'd find it statistically unlikely that you could move the North American queue that amount and have no confirmed movement in EU. My own queue position is from 9/26, so I'd have hoped to have gotten a notification at this stage for this card - which does seem to be the "fast mover" (pun intended) for the 3090's No, sadly I fear something ain't right there. Hopefully someone in EVGA will notice some config settings like "Ship to EU = 0" and flick that to a "1" :-)

As a late comer to the queue, I'm hoping for a massive drop of hybrids today to cut my (EVGA) wait short. My Vega56 died on me, and that poor old FuryX is struggling a bit with any game dropped in the last couple of years :D

I'm genuinely curious what we're gonna get drops wise today. My guess is the bulk will be on Tuesday & Thursday, if there is a large amount of hybrids at all this week. Like I said before, it's entirely possible that was an estimate, as he did say "likely next week", so not guaranteed. Here's hoping we get big drops though. My payment is ready and waiting to be accepted :-P lol

Reports abound claiming ~$150 price increases for 3080s due to tariff exemptions ending Jan1. But I still see no evidence of it here on the EVGA site. So I'm remaining hopeful my position in the queue won't pop up after the $699 card suddenly becomes $849.

I mean, the newegg prices already went up, but not THAT much. The 3080 FTW3 Ultra went up ~$50 so far. 3090s are getting hit harder from the looks of it, as I posted a few days ago, the 3090 Strix is now $2019, the 3090 FTW3 Ultra is now $1939, that equates to a ~$130 price increase on the 3090s. That's a yikes. I would expect that eVGA's site will have to increase their prices soon enough, but right now they may still be selling cards that came in before said Tariff Exemption expired, which is why the prices haven't went up yet. As if the situation with GPU supplies & scalping wasn't bad enough, these price increases are just going to make scalping prices go up more too.

Hoping for a big hybrid drop today!
But I seriously doubt it cause EVGA has never dropped a huge drop before. Not even after being shutdown for almost 2 weeks and people thought there would be a massive stockpile of cards in their warehouse. 🙄
I knew it didn't work that way though.
So I'm guessing the hybrids will move 1-2 minutes at best today and in 2 to 3 weeks we will see a similar drop for them.

I was able to place an order for a 3090 FTW directly from Amazon at MSRP back on 12/30. From the day I ordered it, it showed arrival on 01/27. So clearly it was some type of pre-order. I'm a super patient dude (read: old) so I was happy with that. Now with all the tariff MSRP bumps, I'm worried Amazon will end up canceling the order. I'll tell you, never before has sourcing computer parts been such an endeavor.

Yeah I'm waiting for the Samsung G9 49" Monitor to come back in stock at/around MSRP on Amazon so I can pre-order it from there. They've had it listed for as low as $1299 recently, I just didn't pull the trigger because I didn't want to be borderline on having the funds ready for the Kingpin if my spot in queue gets called, but thanks to the passage of time, I can get both now if I want to. Hoping the G9 comes back in stock at the December-low of $1199 but we'll see. I can't wait for my vertigo to get triggered by that 1000R curve + super ultrawide resolution. lol
