     K|NGP|N                                 3998                      12/16/2020 09:02:31  (new queue)

I do wonder how many cards that 2:31 represents.  And how many of these they're actually going to make, as the K|NGP|N has been an always will be a "limited run" card.
We'll see how much it moves today for people that clicked notify on it but did not purchase as those flow on to the next people in line.
Hopefully I timed mine out right so the notify comes sometime in mid/late January, give me time to either absolutely not want to part with this GPU, or decide to YOLO one more time.

Here's hopin' we get some prime action on all the queues today as Thursday is usually a pretty big movement day, and it's the last Thursday before the LONG SLEEP coming for eVGA queues with the holidays break eVGA are taking at the offices.

And as usual:

Remember everyone,

DO NOT FORGET to use an Associates Code (someone's, anyone's) during checkout on eVGA.com purchases, it can save you 5% on GPUs & more on other items, and all you have to do is put the code in the proper box during checkout!  It also gives the person who's code you use free eVGA Bucks, so think of it as spreading the love, you get a discount, they get some funds to spend on eVGA's website ^_^ my Associates Code is 47AQQ6KPU2IZNXY - if you decide to use it, I appreciate you!

General questions that have been asked (and answered) repeatedly the last several days:
  • Radiator+Fan thickness on the Hybrid cards is 55-56mm
  • Tube length of Hybrid cards from where they exit the GPU to where the touch the radiator fittings is ~400mm
  • Mounting GPU radiator as EXHAUST is highly preferable as the GPU radiator will exhaust air up to & exceeding 38C during gaming, not the kinda air you want setup as INTAKE on your system
  • Hybrid card radiator dimensions (excluding the Kingpin) are approximately: Size: 276mm x 122mm

Elite gets you access to some items and sometimes special prices, but still use someone's associate code for added discount (5% off GPU prices, 10% off PSU etc.).

Does that mean that elite members are still able to use another associate's code and still get the 5%?  I recall someone in this thread saying they couldn't use another associate's code because they were an associate.

Elites still get to use Associate numbers for discount.  Associates CANNOT use associate numbers for discount.

Thank you.  I wasn't clear that those are 2 separate programs.

What's odd is I think that isn't always the case.  I am in the Associates program, go the pending eVGA Bucks to prove it, and I used Enewt's code for my 3090 Hybrid purchase, and indeed got the $90 (5%) off.

Maybe because of the queue system it works when it normally wouldn't, I dunno.

My 3090 is hating me right now, I'm making it do a Folding at Home workload ^_^ Trying to get an accurate picture of what I could pump out points wise, if I fold at least part time - we're on solar power so during the day, it's basically free.

Exactly. Elite membership is separate.
You choose what's better for you in regard to the Associate program; you can join the Associate program and have your own code that others can use to get a discount off their purchases and you get EVGA Bucks based on that, but you cannot use an Associate code to get discounts off your own purchases, OR, you do not join the program but you can use other's codes to get discounts off your own purchases.
Basically you need to figure which option would benefit you more.

Bonus the power being 'free' because of solar - my only concern with folding is that our power bill gets hammered.

I got in for the Hybrid at 12:09.

We looking March, or April?

Certainly not an ideal time, but no one knows how many people joined the queue after the first 30 minutes of opening, or during for that matter.. Flip a coin!

Good morning, folks! I hope we see that new queue moving today. I'm at 9:09:39 yesterday. 6 and a half minutes away!

Cheers

Hey you are 3 seconds after me. I'll let you know if I ever get the email.

I'm one of those "evil" miners...  I mine with my system when I'm not playing games on it.  It's a good way to help make the cost of a higher end card a bit more tolerable.

Hopefully folding is mostly GPU bound and not memory bound.  I mined ETH on my 3090 Hybrid and the memory on the backside got insanely hot (the backplate measured 178F), so I had to put a desk fan blowing across it at full speed to keep it hashing at 120 MH/s.

I too have solar (50 kW worth), so I'm not too worried about energy usage either as my power is free 24/7.  What I don't use during the day, goes back into the grid for me to use at night.

Yeah I know, but it did O_o lol I'm happy it did cuz that money off can be used for other things.

Already 36% done with it's first unit... PPD is over 1.05M, and that's with my slight OC/undervolt settings of 2040MHz @ 994mV - which I'm 99% sure is 100% stable, as I've gamed on it for hours already, ran several benchmarks, had zero issues.
I'm sure if it's not stable FAH will let me know by giving me a bit "YOU FAILED DERP" notification.
So far temp is at 49-51C on the GPU core.  And I got yet another "temperature of the sun" error on an iCX readout again lol

I'm about to fire up my unused 2013 Mac Pro with 6-core Xeon cpu, 32gb ram and AMD Firepro D500 3GB GPU and use it for Folding at Home.  Does FaH require a robust GPU, cause this one isn't lol

Yeah...  I'm really thinking that I'm going to look seriously into going solar here pretty soon.  I also love the idea of something like the Tesla PowerWall.  We generally get a handful of short power outages a year along with another handful of super short power flashes so having something like the PowerWall would be pretty awesome in eliminating these power outages.

Likelihood of it actually getting wet is pretty low.  Keep in mind, these GPUs are shipped inside a static proof bag, that's surrounded by protective foam, that's inside a box, that's inside another box, that is then inside of the shipment box.

Anyone tried ordering from J and C computer services in NY (JNC’s)   They show availability and incoming stock. I ordered a 3767 this morning, confirmed through PayPal and shipping via UPS.

I have a 200mm fan blowing area over the entire GPU area inside the case, hopefully that will keep the air flowing over the backside enough to keep things decently happy.  So far the highest iCX MEM temp is 63.3C, about what it hits during Cyberpunk sessions.

They do not wrap packages. It is up to the shipper (EVGA in this case) to ensure the contents inside do not get damaged. I would be more worried about porch pirates if they are just dropping the package off at your door though. Tis the season.

Am I reading that right?  1.05M PPD for FAH out of a 3090?  Hopefully that will go way up because I get that out of a 1660 Super.

Do they still have bonuses based on time to completion?  Because if so that's not factored in yet, it's my first unit in absolutely ages.

Edit: Oooooooh I didn't setup a PassKey or complete 10 units yet... setup the passkey, the 3090 is now saying it will net 6.8M PPD lol

3070 out for delivery in absolute cluster of a snowstorm - I hope ups wraps their packages to prevent water damage

They do not wrap packages. It is up to the shipper (EVGA in this case) to ensure the contents inside do not get damaged. I would be more worried about porch pirates if they are just dropping the package off at your door though. Tis the season.

Or UPS not even delivering it to the right address then saying "we don't know where it got delivered to. But we said it was delivered so not our issue "

I mean ups usually will wrap in plastic if the weather is bad - but sometimes they don't - also not enough visibility for someone to see that there's a package on my porch cause of the snow - but if someone tests me I will defend the gpu with my shovel!

Did you see the latest glitter bomb video by Mark Rober?

Not the latest, but I have seen some in the past. Pretty bad a! I just get things delivered to my work so I don't have to worry about them.
