Just picked up my 3090FE a short time ago via Bestbuy.  I was one of the fortunate ones that was able to snag one during a drop last Friday.  My word, what a beast this thing is.  To be honest, I'm surprised I got it.  The kid that brought over for the curb side service couldn't believe it either.  My original intention was to get a 3080 black, but when this 3090 popped up, I impulsed...

Thank you to the thread for your camaraderie.  I really do hope you all manage to get what you desire.  I'm going to release my notifications as well.

Nice, probably my favorite looking card in recent history, 3090 FE & it's gigantorness.  Enjoy the card!

thank you Amigo!  I was a little worried about it fitting in my rig.  But no worries, she dropped in just fine.  Incredible the heft on this thing.  Something like 4 lbs?
I've been flying some VR/DCS with it and all I can say is simply, it's incredible.  I don't think it's even breaking a sweat.  The fans and cooling are really quiet too.

Honestly, I really wanted the EVGA 3080 black.  But so soon in the cycle, it just wasn't in the cards.  The price point for the 3090 is crazy, but I think the FE card gets it a little closer to sanity, (not).

The bigger thing is that Wifey-pooh was all cool.   Can't beat that...  (though it'll cost me a ton of dinners.  But hey, those things always do...  To the married gents out there.  We know the golden rule.  "the key to life is a happy Wife....")

I'm now moving my EVGA GTX1080SC and Rift S to my secondary rig, (the one the grandkids use.  they'll love it).

There are really so few cards. Doesn't help that Nvidia apparently sold $175M worth of their GPUs to bitcoin miners, according to a few articles I've just seen. Check your notification date/time and look at the spreadsheets to get an idea of how long. All of mine are 10/7 at around 2PM, so I'm probably not getting any until 2021.

Also doesn't help that AMD's 6000 series ended up being even more of a paper launch than Nvidia's. It honestly surprises me because their 5000 series CPU launch was most certainly not a paper launch (with the exception of virtually no high end SKUs at the Microcenter that I drove 11 hours to stand in line all night at...) Their CPUs showed up in much higher numbers than Nvidia's very "paper" 3000 series cards and have been shipping by the thousands ever since.

Although I guess a paper launch shouldn't be so surprising considering their chief technology is Mark Papermaster. (not making this up!)

Anyways. With ZERO competition, still, Nvidia has no motivation to manufacture cards any faster than they want to. If there was actually serious competition, we'd see more cards being made. Don't believe me? Look at the cellphone industry! iPhones can sell out overnight, but it takes them mere weeks to ramp up production to record levels to almost instantly meet the demand of however many customers want the latest and greatest iPhones. Samsung is able to ramp up production as much as they wish, as well, and they have had to in order to make enough screens for their biggest customer - Apple.

Yet somehow Nvidia can only manage sending them out onesies and twosies, a few here and there? I have heard people comment that there's no reason for them to not manufacture cards as quickly as they possibly can. Well, there's no reason for them to make them any faster. Not until real competition shows up, anyways.

It finally arrived, and Folding runs great! I can't wait to try Cyberpunk 2077 on it.

Thank you to EVGA for enacting this queue system, and thank you to everyone helping us keep track of this madness.

I can only speak for the 3885, but it's only up to night time on 9/17. The other XC3 cards have barely moved, if at all.

As of 1:45 pm PT today, as best as I can tell, here is the state of the North American queues (bolded font represents movement from this morning's summary table; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of the movement):

     Card                                 SKU                      Auto-Notify Date/Time

     Ultra
    3080 FTW3 Ultra               3897                     09/17/2020 21:02:00       (+00:17:08)
     3080 XC3 Ultra                 3885                     09/17/2020 21:34:24       (+02:38:24)

    Gaming
    3080 FTW3 Gaming          3895                      09/16/2020 00:00:00
    3080 XC3 Gaming            3883                      09/16/2020 11:01:20

    3080 XC3 Black                3881                      09/16/2020 14:02:39

The fastest moving queue lately has been the 3885 XC3 Ultra. I'd suspect you'd get that notification before the Black notification

Good luck, the XC3 Ultra moved quite a bit recently so maybe by the end of the year you'll get your email for that one

It is here. However the card does sag a little bit at the front so I will wait for the GPU support bracket coming on Tuesday.

Well this couldn't have happened at the worse time.... GTX 1080 took a dive off the deep end today..... Using a GTX 960 2gb ATM. Was looking forward to playing Cyberpunk, even without me getting a 3080.... Now I hope my number comes up soon in the queue (9/16) date on xc3 gaming model......

I am sorry to hear about the 1080.  The XC3 Gaming model has not materially moved. As a precaution, you might sign up for some other models but please recognize that anything you sign up for today will include a long wait as well.

Hi, my date entering the queue is 10/28/20 for a 24G-P5-3971-KR (it's the 3090 XC3 Black; I really want a card with lots of vram). What is a fair guess at what range of time I can expect for my turn? From what I am reading, it looks to be 2 to 3 months, but this also isn't a linear process.

Also, I'm hoping there is some punishment for people who are buying the cards to flip; like, if a card EVGA just sold to a guy with many cards in notify queue is found to be being sold, does he lose the rest of his queue spots and barred from queuing again? That might be the right thing to do. I see lots of people in Discord discussing how they will be flipping GPUs for the next few months and only keep the one they want.

Hey everyone. I got my card (3080 ftw3 ultra) and its fantastic but i also upgraded to 9900k at the same time. I know this is a forum about the 3000 series stock, but i need help with my 9900k and was hoping someone was knowledgable on the subject. My 9900k's TDP is limited to 95w. I upgraded from a 7700k and my gaming fps is worse! How do i unrestrict TDP on the CPU? I have an MSI mobo. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here are my queues.  I know I'm way too late on the 3070, but I'm hopeful to still get the 3080 FTW3 before Cyberpunk drops.

10G-P5-3897-KR     9/21/2020 7:20:39 AM PT    No

I just removed all of my FTW3 notifications because I realized that card won't fit in my case since it's only 2 slot width at best, I have an mITX case. I'm now only holding my queue for the P5-3885-KR since it looks like it could be a better fit.

Morning,
Why is it that when I have clicked on the auto-notify it says I have already been notified. BUT, when I check my notifies page there is no information, SKU, DATE, etc...??

That's a third person who used my code. Thank you all. I'm up to almost 100 EVGA bucks. Maybe I'll use it to buy the longer warranty.

Very likely we'll have some good drops tomorrow. I'm so close to getting my email for the ftw ultra. I'm hoping this week before cyberpunk comes out.

Glad to see the queue for the 3080 Black started making some moves (I'm in the queue at 9/17/2020 7:44:43 PM PT), and hope to see bigger and bigger drops in coming weeks. I got Valhalla free w/ my processor that I bought for my new build earlier this year and waiting to play that and Cyberpunk until I can jump from my 1080 to the 3080. Big props to EVGA for being one of the few companies releasing a graphics card that will fit in the Evolv Shift Air since I wanted to go with a smaller build this time!
